Pretty cool vintage shop! They have Vinyl's, hot wheels, movie posters, movies, stand up life size…read moreposters, collectable figurines, classic collectibles you won't find just anywhere, T-shirts, concert T-shirts, and even Funko Pops! After viewing their vinyls I noticed they have a lot of classics like Pink Floyd, Meat Loaf, and many others. The posters selection is insane. They have original posters for Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars, and my other great classic films. There's a bit of everything for just about everyone. They even have comics! The store is very clean and very well organized. If your looking for classic stuff to give someone or even for yourself, this is the place to be! If you love Funko Pop! they have a very nice selection of pops. They really had me on the Nightmare Before Christmas pops. I want to get them so bad! Unfortunately I don't have enough I gotta wait til payday. If you're at Coronado Center the shop is just east of the food court and west of the JC Penny's! Check them out!

We have seen this business in the mall and never really paid attention to it. I saw something in an…read morewidow display that attracted my attention, so we went inside. They have quite a large selection of Funko Pops, movie posters, cardboard cutouts of stars in various role/costumes. For the matchbox collector there are plenty of vintage cars. They got a good selection of vintage toys too. So why the two stars you ask? Prices! VTG has a great selection but prices are up to double the MSRP. The item I was looking at was almost $ 100 over in stock online prices. Double what the manufacture sells it for. I looked at few other new items and found similar high markups. I believe profit is not a dirty word, exorbitant prices are. I'm all about instant gratification, but not at those prices. Pass this one up.

Like all thrift stores, this one is hit or miss based on the week. The service is always…read moresatisfactory, the ladies I often see behind the counter have a great since of humor and remind me every time that I can bargain with them if something is out of my budget. Unfortunately, though, most things are out of my budget. This is not surprising given the curation and high average quality of item per stall, but it leaves me miffed when something is marked up so high past my understanding of its worth. Still, one day I will be coming back for that taxidermy antelope that has been staring my down for years now.

Be careful of the descriptions used on their pieces of furniture. We bought a "teak bookcase"; on…read moredelivery, the bookcase is teak veneer over MDF and the cardboard backing does not match the woodgrain of the teak. We should've used our phone flashlight and gone over the item much more closely. The owner said that if it was teak, it would have been labeled "solid teak." I think it should have been described as "teak veneer." I wonder if the credit card charge can be disputed, as that is my only recourse. It the owner feels that the average used furniture shopper knows the nuances of his labeling, in my opinion he is wrong. I am leaving this review for those shoppers that are not savvy to this and will ask further questions before purchasing. We won't return to either of the stores.

The staff at Barnes & Noble Booksellers was very helpful on November 26, 2025 when I inquired about…read morethe location of a new book. The first young person who helped me directed me upstairs. Perfect. I found one lone copy, but where are the other 39 that she mentioned? I needed 3 copies, 2 as gifts for Christmas and an upcoming birthday. I looked high and low. Nothing. So I approached the older man upstairs. He finally exclaimed, "Ohhhh, the rest of these are being retained for a class, so what I can do is order for pickup for you." I appreciated the kind service, but I had to head back home to the southeastern part of the state soon. It's two stories and quite spacious even with many others shopping. The cafe towards the back was super loud. This is a nice location in what is referred to as Uptown Albuquerque, NM, at the Coronado Center Mall.

This is a good place to come for books if you're near Coronado Mall. We are members of their…read moreloyalty scheme too, as we buy lots of books. If you are like us in that sense, the loyalty scheme is good value. There are two reasons we are not fans of their coffee shop: first, they have one of those "dark pattern" card payment devices. It makes it very hard when you are paying to leave no tip. You have to keep hitting the damn "no tip" part of the screen over and over for it to work. You should know that this is a deliberate choice on the part of the management. When they buy the card readers, they can choose ones that make it hard for someone NOT to leave a tip. It's a dark pattern you can investigate on YouTube. And it's a really evil thing to do. Shame on the sleazy manager who made that decision! It should be illegal and they should be punished. Second, and this is a problem going back YEARS, if you get a hot drink, it is very likely it will be super hot, like nuclear hot, practically burning through the cup. It will be at least twenty minutes before it's a safe temperature to drink. You think I'm kidding? I'm not, and you've been warned. PLUR, baby! Bonus complaint: My God in heaven, they interrupt with harsh and seemingly unnecessary messages for staff over the loudspeaker very, very often. I know it's not a library, but it is a bookstore. And people are trying to engage with books. Shhhhhut up, already!
