Yes, there were 2 guys who showed up, each one running different machines. They put lights in all the rooms so they could better see. And I watched one employee spend a good amount of time on some stains that were in the entryway of the kitchen. In the end, the results were fantastic. The place smelled better, and it was much cleaner. Just an awesome job by these workers...and it takes a LOT to please me, believe me. GREAT for rental property owners. I called Stanley Steamer and they came and got the spot out immediately. My carpet now looks fantastic thanks to Stanley Steamer. I asked for a refund from Oxi Fresh but no one ever called me back. It's a franchise so calling the 1-800-number does nothing and they won't tell you how to contact the franchise directly.

They've converted me as I wasn't previously someone who wanted to go through what I thought was a hassle to have cleaners come in, but Capital Maids makes it easy and the end results are just wow. Getting an estimate and the first cleaning scheduled was easy--super responsive, and the team arrived promptly at my requested time. Man, did they get down to business quickly, carefully, and did an amazing job. I'd meant to do a "pre-cleaners' clean" to move a lot of clutter out of the way and get bags of unfolded laundry put in the closet so that they had a clearer workspace: when I saw how they had straightened up my bedroom in addition to cleaning, I breathed a huge sigh of relief! My half-finished organizing projects and haphazard stacks of things waiting to be weeded through were all neatly arranged and order was restored, in addition to the vacuuming and dusting, plus flawless bed made. The jumbles of clothes on my "chairderobe" (you know, that piece of furniture that collects unfolded clean clothes and clothes that don't need to be washed) were all impeccably smoothed and expertly folded. She's knowledgeable, trustworthy, and easy to do business with. I can recommend this treasure trove of carpets and village arts that originate from countries found on the famous Silk Road. APT charges well above market price…read more Not sure if Anthony thinks he can get away with charging me more than the average market rate offered by other companies because I live out of town or if he charges everyone exorbitant prices like this across the board. Either way, it's highway robbery and it's unacceptable, especially when our tenant has come back to us to say our carpets still look dingy! We were provided with a sorry excuse of an invoice (see attached) that lacked any details of the work conducted (I.e. square feet covered, cost per sqft, etc.) to justify such an excessive cost of 386.32. How was this sum quantified and calculated? It seems that according to APT, anyone can claim a price for their work, generate a bogus receipt and call it an "invoice". Furthermore, I had to research Mr. Anthony Royal to find out the name of his business because no business name, phone number, or email was provided on this so called invoice. It wasn't until we reached out again that we received a revised invoice which still does not justify the high price. I will never consult Anthony again for any future cleans and will make sure other property owners avoid this scam artist.

One challenge is that it isn't always the same cleaners, and the quality has been inconsistent. Some visits have been great, while others have fallen short, which has been frustrating. The biggest issue, however, has been scheduling. I want to extend grace because cleaning homes is physically demanding work, and I understand that delays can happen. That said, the arrival times have consistently been several hours later than the scheduled window. If you decide to use Pilar's service, I'd recommend planning for the cleaners to arrive three or more hours after the time you're given. While we've had some positive experiences, the inconsistency in both the cleaning quality and scheduling has made it difficult to rely on the service.
