The problem is, it gave me the choice to speak to the station director. I punched that number and it took me to a hold for about 15 seconds and then hung up on me. I called again and pressed the extension for director of programming this time. Again, it put me on hold for about 15 seconds, them hung up. Finally, pressed the number for general voicemail. This time I got a message that said, "we cannot connect you to voicemail." It then promptly hung up again. In the end, I got the hint that they have no interest whatsoever in hearing from anyone in the area. I did end up calling Sinclar Broadcast Group, which owns the station. I spoke with them about the inability to reach anyone at WCIV, or even leave a message. As one of the last generations, age 62, that even watches TV, I want to thank this experience for finally pushing me to tje point of cutting the cord. I watch the internet much more now anyway, and will finally join younger acquainted, who have laughed at my cable bill for years. With 5 televisions, three DVRs and 2 digital adapters, by cutting television and king Internet only, I will cut $250 per month from my budget. Thats a $250 per month raise. I'll take it. Thanks ABC/Disney and especially WCIV.

I feel so lucky to have found Heirloom Cloud! And I feel even more honored to have been a proud…read morecustomer of theirs. I had a total of around ~45 8mm tapes that I wanted to digitize. After scouring the internet and doing my own research on which digitization company I could trust the most with precious home memories, I landed requesting services from Heirloom Cloud. Not only did I feel confident about their services from all their reviews, but also I loved that it was veteran-owned, veteran-friendly, and autism-inclusive in their hiring practices. I wish more businesses were like them! With regard to my actual services, they were reasonably priced, especially compared to the more "well-known" digitization companies out there. Their customer service is also amazing. Once they received my tapes, I got a call and email from Justin Baker to walk me through their process. Not only that, but when I received my digitized media about two weeks later, the quality was genuinely amazing. I also had such peace-of-mind throughout the entire process because I loved how transparent they are about careful handling of my tapes. And, what's more, they even talk about how they specialize in repairing any damaged/deteriorated aspects of your tapes. So, to Geoff Weber, Justin Baker, and the rest of the entire team, thank you for making the world a better place by protecting peoples' memories and giving us the golden opportunity to revisit and relive them. I'll definitely be a returning customer.

It "celebrates the modern South and features the best in Southern food, style, travel, music, art, literature, and sporting culture." Its first issue was in 2007, eighteen years ago. The name Garden and Gun is explained as an "inside reference to a popular 1970s Charleston disco called the Garden and Gun Club. It is also explained as a metaphor for the South's land, people, lifestyle, and heritage." Today, both Atlanta and Louisville have Garden and Gun Clubs that are extensions of the Garden and Gun Club brand and are affiliated with the magazine. They also have a podcast about Southern culture, at least four books, a Fieldshop shopping experience, a "G&G Society" and more. Garden and Gun has an elevated look and feel to it! It exemplifies sophistication with its masterful use of white space, iconic rich warm sepia tones, and thoughtful layouts! As a BA graduate in Graphic Design, this magazine really appeals to me! Stories range from "The Secret South" to "The Sporting South." I enjoyed their articles on Birmingham Alabama's Chef Chris Hastings and about other Alabama chefs! Not only is Garden and Gun beautiful to hold and see, the articles are well written, interesting, and very engaging! This comes from a person who does not hunt and loves dogs as much as any other person does, owning one myself. Thank you Allée Group LLC and Rebecca Darwin for providing us with this elevated and lovely lifestyle magazine and other experiences!
