I sought out WC Equestrain when a specific hand lotion I love was shown on-line to be sold at this store. This store is not far from my home, so I drove there to investigate versus simply calling. Indeed located tucked in the back of a somewhat remote industrial complex, I could tell that this store would be charming simply by the lovely front entrance. Upon entering, a small boutique like entry area leads into an unexpectedly large retail area beyond in the back. Now although I am not a horse person and WC Equestrian specifically markets and sells to everything for horse and rider (tack, riding apparel, supplies, feed, gifts, jewelry, fashion, etc), I found everything about this store just charming. Now it comes out that they do not sell the lotion I thought they did, but it also lead to an engaging conversation with Rebecca and her associate about various things on the slow mid-week day I happened to wandered in. Rebecca and her associate (cannot remember her name) could not have been friendly, more informative, welcoming and engaging to simply talk to. I wandered the store and indeed 90% of the store is designed for the horse and the rider (again, not me), I did walk out with a pair of boots and a bar of Naked Bee oatmeal soap. So I although the lotion I was seeking was a bust, it was not a total loss. So although I am not the market this store is seeking to capture, I loved this visit and will remember that this store is there. Who knows...maybe the next chapter of my life will be on a horse. read more

Headed to Silverton & turned right, as I usually do. Saw the 'WC Equestrian Sign,' but no store. I checked on Yelp to give them a call & headed to the new store about 10 minutes away. Cute, but in a remote type of location. Rebecca is the bomb! She helped me find a cooler blanket w/ beautiful embroidery & even referred me to 'Embroid Me' for the finishing touches. Very helpful, knowledgeable & the perfect person to talk to about your equine's needs. If she doesn't know, she will find out & offered to call the embroidery place. For years, I have been coming to WC & they are fantastic for bday & Christmas gifts for other horse friends & myself. Super cute boots & dressage gear, wish I did dressage! First went into this store back in April of 2021 and fell in love with this store. From the beautiful storefront to the amazing staff and great selection, they really don't disappoint. My daughter needed riding gear as she was going to be starting lessons and they had everything she needed. Today (February 2022) it was my turn to start riding lessons and it was an awesome experience picking out everything I needed. Rebecca, was so patient and kind helping me find the right attire which made my overall experience so pleasant. They also offer a rewards program which is fantastic since we are there often and it's a great little perk. Hand down this place is our family's favorite place to shop and purchase from. Well...it's been a nice ride...end of the trail...lots of metaphors for this final time in my former favorite store in LV for over 7 years. What was once an all but one stop Western/English shop for my horses' needs is now little more than a gift and trendy clothing shop, and gear for the English rider, staffed by ladies who don't know and don't care. In the early days, every customer could count on personalized help from subject matter experts (Rebecca...I need you!) who cared and remembered. I leave now, remembering the old WC Equestrian fondly, and looking north down the road just a bit to an equestrian store with what I need for my horses. read more

This place was AWESOMENESS!. They have so much stuff. You go into Equine shopping overload. The gals were super nice and very helpful. To helpful in the way they kept showing me super cool things that would be great for my horse. They have things that I have never seen in stores or even Online stores.The only downfall with this place is they only carry high end English apparel. But Oh my gosh! you could spend ours in there. And everything else is pretty reasonably priced. Next time I am visiting again I will be stopping by. read more

Wonderful equestrian store! Everything from saddles to soap! The staff knows what they are doing and does a great job. They carry lots of stuff for young riders. Every time I go to the store they are helpful and if I don't find what I need, they will order it right away. They also sell vaccines. This store also supports local horse rescues! Last summer, I went to store to exchange a birthday gift for my daughter that was given to her by my boss. I went into the store with the riding shirt to exchange for a different size and the gift receipt that came with it. The shirt wasn't on the gift receipt, so we may have been given the wrong receipt. Regardless, WC wasn't willing to make the exchange, and they said that they had no record of selling that particular shirt. They all but accused my boss of shop lifting. (She's a pillar of the community. ) I feel if I hadn't walked through the front with the shirt in the WC bag right to the counter within sight of the store's employee, they would have accused me if shop lifting. My 8 year old daughter was with me during this, it was truly mortifying. I kept my remarks limited and congenial. The lady who waited on us was embarrassed as well, but the management is bordering on nasty. I will refrain from ever shopping at WC in the future. read more
