But…read morewhen he gets into the job & finds out the real problem, He acts like his original estimate is correct & doesn't accept responsibility for his misdiagnosis. If I'd known the real problem, I would've paid a little extra to have it fixed correctly. But Mike charged me for the original quote & didn't explain that he'd made a mistake. So we still have the exact same leak we had before Mike charged us $3,430 for a leak proof basement (an airtight seal was promised in our original estimate. He said there'd be an apocalypse or the world would end before water leaked into the basement after his fix), & he claims now that we should've gotten a new door "like he suggested". He really said that we would eventually need to change our door. He didn't say, after getting into the problem, that the door was actually the cause of the leak, because our front door was beginning to rot, from the original owners trying to hide the leak in our basement. He just acted like that was a separate problem. Once the leak came back (in the same exact places & the same intensity), Mike wants to claim ignorance ("oh I said once I got under the porch that you need to change your door, but you didn't want to"). Total BS. He's a scammer!!!!I And I've given him weeks to actually be an honest person & fix the problem. So now we have to sue him to get our money back & report him to the BBB with proof of the real fix to our leak & his promises in our original quote. Don't fall his nice guy act!

He was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest about the fact that the old beast had finally decided to retire. Since this all happened in February (terrible time to lose heat), Aspen quickly sent someone out the same day to give me an estimate for a new furnace. The installation was scheduled and installed within 48, the techs arrived on time, were courteous of my home and pets, and made the whole process smooth. McCully came back today for a recheck. Again prompt, professional, and easy to work with. I appreciate the text message that contains a picture and ETA of the technician prior to their arrival. Overall, a great experience. After being told by multiple HVAC…read morecompanies that I would need to replace my entire air conditioning unit, I was feeling pretty discouraged about the potential cost. Thankfully, I spoke with Mike Smith from Eric Dale, and his honesty immediately stood out. Instead of pushing a replacement, he recommended scheduling a service call to make sure the unit truly couldn't be repaired first -- potentially saving me a lot of money. When the service team arrived, Fred and Will absolutely exceeded my expectations. They quickly diagnosed the issue and discovered that the problem was actually caused by a mistake from another HVAC company I had hired the previous year. Not only did they fix the issue, but they also took the time to clean my entire system and make sure everything was running properly. The difference was incredible -- my air conditioning unit is now running beautifully again! From Mike's honesty and professionalism to the expertise and care shown by Fred and Will, the entire experience was outstanding. It's rare these days to find a company that truly prioritizes integrity, service, and doing right by their customers. I am beyond impressed and incredibly grateful. I cannot recommend Eric Dale highly enough and will absolutely be using them for all of my HVAC needs going forward.
