I had a problem with a package that I was receiving and the lady in the office called the delivery person on her cell phone and worked with me in trying to locate the package. The post office people figured out It turned out to be scam by the sender.... Great people there who work very hard....

Instead of printing out a label, you have to complete a shipping form by hand like back when I was a kid. I was sending a small package and somehow it managed to arrive *months* later AND the person receiving it actually had to pay their postman because it didn't have the correct postage. They apparently didn't even calculate the shipping accurately which held everything up. Super embarrassing for me as the gift giver to find out from the recipient that they had to pay their mailman to receive their package.

It is in a nice new building that is shared with Albemarle County. There are county ESOL offices upstairs and the county warehouse downstairs. Northside has a vast selection of books and other materials. You can do everything from check out a book to check out an internet hotspot for school work. Have kids and want to go to the Virginia Discovery Museum? You can pick up free passes here. The same is true for Va State Parks. The State Park kit includes a backpack with educational activities for kids. Interested in sewing or embroidery? Northside has maker kits that can be checked out as well. One of the services that I use are their meeting rooms. You can check out meeting spaces for 2 hours at a time. They are enclosed spaces with up to 4 people. It has an exterior monitor for presentations with multiple inputs. Don't want to come inside, no worries... they have drive up window to pick up and drop off books. Don't want to do that either? They have a great digital library where you don't have to leave your couch. If you want it, Northside has it!

I purchased a used motorcycle from Foreign Affairs they were honest in telling me that they…read morepurchased the bike at auction. Come to find out FA never got the title for the bike they sold me. They had some documentation like a shady POA but I still didn't have a title. Come to find out the bike was totaled and written off by the previous owner. The motorcycle had a bent swing arm and sub frame. After owning the bike for a week the rear brake went out. The pads were gone even though FA slapped a brand new inspection sticker on it before I bought it. I spoke on the phone to the Financial institution that financed it to the original owner. She told me the bike was totaled and sold at auction. FA never even obtained a title I had to take shady documentation to DMV. This guy sold me a bent and broken motorcycle with no back brakes. Talk about dangerous vehicles that are a liability just being on the road. The owner told me they purchase most of their vehicles for sale at auction. The bike was JUNK and they knew it sold it to me anyway putting my life at risk. DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS UNTIL YOU RESEARCH THE VIN!!!!!! They had no problem selling me junk motorcycle with NO BRAKE PADS!!!
