At no point during that conversation was it mentioned that the cost would increase significantly, yet there was no problem telling me they found another problem that needed fixed. When I went to pick up my car, I was shocked to find the total was over $1,800. That's a major increase that should have been clearly communicated beforehand. If I had been informed, I could have decided whether to move forward with the repair. Instead, I was put in a position where I had no choice but to pay in order to get my car back. On top of that, after looking up the cost of the parts, it appears they mark them up by at least 40%. Proceed with caution. People don't write bad reviews for absolutely no reason.

Thankfully, I had just renewed my AAA membership the day before. I called them and they contracted with Elite Towing to tow my car to Honda in Winchester. AAA had quoted 2 different times so I called Elite to confirm. I wish I could remember the ladies name that I spoke with. She was extremely helpful and very pleasant to speak with. She assured me the driver would be there in about 45 minutes. As committed, Matthew called me when he was about 15 minutes away. He got my car loaded and drove me to the shop.
