Her car had broken down at mile marker 28. She was rescued by Highway Patrol and taken somewhere safe and contacted me in Jacksonville, FL to help her get a place to stay. I got her a room at Days Inn and the next morning 8/17/2023 I had to find some company to tow her car, see what was wrong with it and fix it. I called Scott's Automotive. They jumped right on the situation. Within 20 mins they had procured the key from her at the hotel, went to the car, and towed the car to their shop. Within 30-40 mins they called me with repair information. The serpentine belt had snapped. They gave me a very fair quote for towing and repairs. The car was fixed and ready to go within the hour. Mathew completed my project to my satisfaction, on time and on budget as promised. He and his wife even offered to go pick up parts I had ordered ahead of my arrival in a nearby town they would be near the night before, to save me time. I accepted that offer and trusted a man I did not know. Matthew did not let me down, has he had my parts at his shop the next morning and was ready to get the job done, with a good attitude, despite blistering heat.
