At the advice of a friend and as a first time parent, we took my daughter here when she was just over a year. My friend said it is a good idea to establish a dentist at a young age for insurance purposes in case of a mouth injury. However my toddler wasn't too thrilled. But 6 years later times have changed and she loves going to the dentist. Dr. Tofukuji gives great preventative advice and he also seals her adult molars. He has a very calm demeanor. My daughter is almost seven and has had no cavities so far. The staff and hygienists are all very sweet. They now have tv's in the chairs to occupy the kids. read more

Took my 4 yr old and almost 2 yr old today for their first dental visit. The entire staff is warm and friendly. Not to mention the fact that they didn't make me feel bad about my daughter being to the dentist for the first time at age 4! (Yes, so embarrassing) Very clean and kid friendly office. It took almost his entire staff to help with my little one, but they were very understanding and more than capable to handle all that crying. I'm pretty sure people could hear him from down the street, but both kids left happy with their cute toothbrushes, xylitol lollipops, and toys from the treasure chest :) highly recommended. read more

My three-year-old went in begging to not go to the dentist (first visit) and left asking when she could return. These people are wonderful. The idea of going to a dentist office that replicates Chuck E. Cheese and John's Incredible didn't appeal to me. I love the serenity of the office as well as the soft-spokenness of the staff. My daughter was most impressed with the Disney movie playing in the lobby and Disney stickers on the desk. She was immediately put at ease by the kindness of everyone. They really make you feel like they enjoy what they do and care about the children. If you have a baby dental chicken, bring the child to Dr. Tofujuki. read more

Everything about this office is so ideal for a pediatric dentist. The dental aides are patient and kind, so is the dentist and he is very knowledgeable. Both my kids went here several times, and they loved coming here. They have lots of support staff up front and behind the scenes, which makes everything really efficient and timely. read more

Dr. Wayne took care of my daughter's teeth at Little Company of Mary (the procedure required him to put my toddler under general anesthesia). He took his time, and was very thorough and caring. Although he had to fix a lot of issues with her teeth, he saved all my baby's teeth, none of them had to be extracted thank God! My Lizzy came out of the procedure groggy and a bit whiny, but that's about it. A couple of hours later, she's back to her old self, no pain meds needed. Just took my almost 3 year old daughter to Dr. Wayne today.......My daughter who would cry at the mentioned of a dentist before now looks forward to the next visit (so she says). The staffs and Dr Wayne were great..Not good but great! Not only was Emily comfortable thru the whole visit, I found myself being educated and given a lot of tips to better help with my daughter's dental care. There is no dental patient more difficult than my daughter, kicking ,screaming, cavaties being filled. Dr Tofukuji and his staff have always been kind, patient and gentle. The office is clean, the equipment is state of the art, Dr Tofukuji is informative, and the billing is ACCURATE! I cannot say enough about how great this office is. Dr Wayne and Dr Stafford did a great job taking care of the cavities and tooth decay for my 2 year old daughter. We were concerned about giving her anesthesia (for nearly 1.5 hrs), but Dr Stafford was very professional and monitored and re-assured us throughout the procedure. Dr Wayne and his staff were also very thorough and we were happy with the results. Prior to the procedure, their office did a great job providing me with all the information I needed for insurance coverage and how to go about it. We were informed of all costs up-front. The entire procedure (dental work + anesthesia) was performed in his office as opposed to doing it at a hospital. Apparently, hospitals may provide coverage for anesthesia costs, but would require more paperwork and can only be recommended and covered under certain circumstances. The follow-ups were also worry-free. Everyone at the office is very friendly and extremely patient and helpful, especially when we had so many questions and concerns. read more

Just took my 2 1/2 year old to Dr. Wayne today & couldn't be happier. The waiting room has kids toys & Disney movie playing. What got my attention were the articles about kids/teens on the bulletin boards with their names highlighted. I am thinking they are patients he sees? Didn't ask but it impressed me. I also received paperwork in the mail ahead of time to fill out with a letter explaining what to expect for the first visit. Then there were toys inside the room which helped before & after visit. All assistants were so nice & gentle. And Dr. Wayne really took the time to connect with me, to educate me on how to take care of my son's teeth better by actually showing me with a mirror not just telling me, had Nemo playing right in front of the chair & had my son sit on my lap so I was able to distract & comfort my son when he had a full examination & teeth cleaning, while I received parent education & my son's saliva tested for bacteria content in his mouth, fluoride for his teeth while barely shedding a couple tears, which Dr. Wayne & the assistants wiped off! They were so caring & encouraging and Dr. Wayne thanked me for helping! I went to another highly rated pediatric dentist for my son's one year & I thought he was good, but Dr. Wayne's & staff's care were superb! My son picked a toy & left happy. We got a certificate for being cavity free. I am so happy that my son's first real dentist visit was a wonderful experience & couldn't be happier. I have heard how people end up hating the dentist & feeling anxious & avoiding the dentist as adults because of horrible experiences as children.
