My wife found Milk Tooth, so credit where it's due. I was the skeptical one. Our previous pediatric dentist had all the usual five star credentials, so when she told me she'd found somewhere better, I did what any rational husband does when confronted with suspicious optimism, I sent one of the kids in first. Consider the experiment concluded. We've been back enough times now that this isn't first visit enthusiasm. Milk Tooth is simply excellent. And the reason isn't some expensive mural, a television hanging from the ceiling or a treasure box strategically deployed after somebody survives a cleaning. It's the people. Every single person we've dealt with has been genuinely kind. Not customer service kind. Not scripted cheerful. Not the slightly terrifying pediatric office version of enthusiasm where everybody speaks three octaves too high because a child has entered the building. They're just warm, patient human beings who seem to enjoy being around kids. That distinction matters. My children are two and four. At that age, you can build the most beautiful dental office in California and they still reserve the right to decide the entire enterprise is bullshit within about eleven seconds. Milk Tooth understands this. The experience begins before anyone gets near a tooth. There are things to play with. The rooms feel comfortable rather than clinical. Nobody seems irritated when a child needs another minute. Nobody treats the parent like luggage that came attached to the patient. Even when the place is busy, it never feels chaotic. They gave me the full tour even though my wife had already been there, which I appreciated more than I probably should have. Then somebody asked me if I want coffee or tea and at that point I thought these people understand the assignment. Because pediatric dentistry is partly dentistry and partly hospitality. You're not simply cleaning a tiny set of teeth. You're introducing a human being to an institution they may have to visit for the next eighty years. Screw up the beginning badly enough and somebody spends half their adulthood white knuckling an armrest every six months. Get the beginning right and the dentist becomes wonderfully boring. Milk Tooth gets the beginning right. The staff explains things. They give the kids room. They somehow manage to be playful without turning the whole thing into a circus. The environment is thoughtful without feeling designed by a committee that googled "what do children like?" And watching my kids become comfortable there has been the thing that sold me. I'm stingy with five stars because five stars should mean something. It should mean I'd recommend a place without inserting some annoying little disclaimer afterward. No disclaimer here. My wife was right. I love this place. read more

Great experience. We formerly went to a kids dentist in south Torrance. It was "toy happy". As in take an X-ray get a toy- walking out with prizes like its a carnival. No the dentist is a serious place to go. Milk Tooth hits that goal! Friendly Clinical staff, Front office was on top of it and very kind. Prices were fair for this area for those of us without Dental insurance. Easy to make an appointment! We will be back! Thanks Dr Quinn! read more

This is such an excellent pediatric dentistry for toddlers especially my 2 years old. The decor and the lobby is so welcoming. So easy to make an appointment. He has a milk tooth that was fixed by Dr. Quinn. Like all toddlers that are accidental prone, he fell and took a beating to the mouth from the table. I was able to make a quick appt and Dr. Quinn got him looking fly again in less than an hour so thank you to Milk Tooth! With no drilling and innovative method, I wish they have this option for adults and my older children while growing up. Again, an amazing experience for us and definitely for you and your little ones as well. read more

We've come to Milk Tooth for a few appointments for both of my kids (ages 2 and 6.5) and Dr. Quinn and his staff are both so attentive, kind and truly make the pediatric dentist experience so much more pleasant than I remember when I was a kid! From promptly taking us in at our appointment time, to being able to accommodate both of my kids at the same time, their whole operation is seamless. I also love that they offer some holistic alternatives to fluoride and some preventative options that can help support my kids oral health without chemicals. I'm so pleased with our experience here and highly recommend them! read more

Helped my two week old with her tongue and lip tie. The whole staff was wonderful and Dr. Quinn was so informative. I also appreciate their conservative approach to treatment, only doing what's absolutely necessary. We ended up needing the tongue and lip done, but felt an immediate difference after that first nursing. I felt very taken care of during such a stressful time, with babies ability to latch and gain weight. Couldn't recommend them enough! read more

I discovered Milk Tooth on Instagram one day after doing extensive research on children with cavities and alternative/holistic options versus SDF treatment. I noticed spots on my son's front teeth shortly after they started coming in. Everyone kept telling me I was wrong and that nothing was there, but over time the spots slowly got worse and weren't going away. I went to three different pediatric dentists, and all of them told me the cause was breastfeeding. I left those appointments feeling ashamed and like the worst mom ever. I was told I only had two options, SDF treatment or putting my son under anesthesia for fillings. Deep down, I felt there had to be another option. When I found Milk Tooth online, it honestly seemed too good to be true, but I decided to give it a shot and make the drive from the San Fernando Valley. From the moment I walked into the office, I knew this wasn't your average pediatric dentist. The environment is so welcoming for children, and they actually listen to parents without judgment or shaming. Dr. Quinn reassured me that alternative treatment options were possible, but instead of rushing into anything, he wanted to monitor my son's cavities first and make sure my son felt comfortable and trusted him. For almost two years, we stayed consistent with cleanings every three months, trusted the process, and I finally stopped beating myself up. My son LOVES going to the dentist now. He isn't scared at all, and that means everything as a parent. Yesterday was the best day ever ...my son received laser treatment on the cavities on his top front teeth. No tears, no anesthesia, and no drills. The procedure was quick, and my son did so well. He's not even afraid to go back next month to finish treatment. Thank you so much to Dr. Quinn and the entire staff for making me feel heard and for reassuring me that "bad baby teeth" do not make me a bad mom read more

My son unfortunately has milk rot from nursing at night. The team has been wonderful answering questions and offering multiple solutions to care for my little guy. The ambience is nothing like a dentist's office and more of a med spa for the littles. Wonderful experience and would recommend every time. read more

I brought my 16 month old son in for his first dental visit and I was very pleased with the entire experience. The office was clean and beautifully decorated, with a calming atmosphere. The waiting room had plenty of toys to keep my son entertained, and he was happily playing the whole time we waited (we did have to wait 30 minutes). The "exam rooms" were just as kid-friendly. They were thoughtfully designed with lots of toys to prevent meltdowns and keep little ones comfortable. The dental staff was kind, patient, and clearly experienced with toddlers. They knew exactly how to manage a wiggly 16 month old while still making the visit as fun as it can be. The dentist himself was courteous, gentle and explained everything clearly. The exam was quick and painless- my son didn't cry once. I'm pretty sure the strawberry-flavored toothpaste helped win him over. To fully win him over he was given a small toy at the end of his visit, which he still loves and plays with at home. We will be returning. read more

Sometimes you see a business with a bunch of 5 star reviews and wonder, is this too good to be true? In the case of Milktooth, I can unequivocally say, I am so grateful that this place is real!! He's gentle, kind, and has such a calm and friendly way with kids. My boys absolutely love him! Wonderful people and a great dental experience for our two year old son. The entire team was great - from check in to Dr. Yost. Everyone was personable and worked to ensure that the children were at ease. The check in area has a great little play room and the waiting room also has toys. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and kind. They provide parents with tips and advice on how to care for their children's teeth at a variety of ages. They share their own experiences (as many of them have kids). Dr. Yost was great and very friendly. He must have channeled his inner Blippi skills because my two year old was entertained, calm and stood still for the entire cleaning / picture process. Cannot say enough good things about this practice - will certainly be back. read more

What a beautiful experience we had!!! My girls are 3.5 and 5.5 and had been seeing a different pediatric dentist in the South Bay but wasn't getting much patience from them as my youngest was very apprehensive about the whole experience! Milk Tooth was a very different experience! Every single person we came in contact with from the front desk to nurses to Dr. Quinn was absolutely amazing! They were all patient and kind and made us feel at home and at ease!! My youngest (apprehensive) felt so comfortable and let the nurses and Dr. Quinn look in her mouth and do everything they needed to do! On top of everyone being so great, the office is beautiful!!! Very calming aesthetic with neutral colors. Sweet little toys and books for the kids to play with. TVs on the ceiling to keep them busy while their teeth are being worked on! I can't say enough good things about this dentistry! I'm so happy I made the switch and grateful they were so kind and patient with my girls!! Truly the worst experience my family has ever had with a medical team. The practice initially seemed like such a great fit, so the lack of professionalism and follow-through was surprising and disappointing. After our appointment, I called to share our experience with the office manager and requested to speak directly with the dentist. I was told he would return my call -- he never did. There are too many excellent pediatric dental practices in our area to tolerate this kind of disregard, especially from one that markets itself as family- and child-centered. Unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. read more

Our family tries our absolute best to stay holistic when it comes to healthcare. We wanted a second opinion on my son's tooth where the previous place we went was quick to want to take a tooth out. I called in a panic and the staff was so accommodating to us. They took us right away! The entire team was just that...a team. All of them were kind and attentive. Dr. Quinn put my husband and I at ease regarding the work that had to be done and talked to my 5 year old in a fun way and made him feel comfortable. They did everything that same day. Grateful for Dr. Quinn and his team. We reached out to him afterhours regarding a dental emergency for our 1-year old and he coached us through the situation that night plus saw us the next day. All my kids love coming here! Dr. Quin and his entire staff are so nice and really make the kids feel safe and comfortable. It's always such a good experience and a huge change from most of the other "old school" pediatric dentists that suggest strapping kids down and putting them to sleep. The receptionists are all wonderful and they have beautiful play areas which is super helpful when I have to bring all 4 of my kids with me! They actually recommend clean, safe products and they have changed how my kids feel about going to the dentist which is the best part. read more

Milk has been a really great experience for my child and the Dr. who too care of her teeth was very kind and thorough. However, the receptionist will talk to you like you're a moron or as if she's just annoyed by questions asked. That alone has ruined our experience with Milk. Hopefully this procedure last, as we would like to not see her face again. read more

I can't tell you how wonderful this dental office is!!! The staff is ridiculously amazing and kind. My daughter's been going here since she was 8 months old and she's now 3. Dr. Quinn rocks the 1st time I brought her here was for a dental emergency. I called their office 15 minutes before they were closing and told them my eight month old was absolutely hysterical screaming and crying due to something with her teeth. They stayed open late for us to get there in time and were able to fix the issue right away. My daughter just had her first appointment in the big kid chair and they went above and beyond making her super comfortable and happy, and... they gave us a latte!!!! Prices are VERY reasonable, bring your kids here, you'll thank me later! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Milk Tooth Dentistry and Dr. Quinn! I specifically chose this office because Dr. Quinn uses laser technology instead of traditional drilling for cavities, an absolute game changer. My kiddo would never have cooperated with drilling, so the laser option was a huge relief. Another major reason I chose this practice was their commitment to more holistic options like Ozone treatment and hydroxyapatite, which are surprisingly hard to find in dentistry. The facility itself is beautiful, very clean, modern, and truly designed with kids in mind. There's a TV on the ceiling and headphones to keep little ones relaxed. I also loved how each room is customized for different age groups, which makes the whole experience feel intentional and comforting. They even offer lip and tongue tie releases with a laser, and I highly recommend them for babies with oral ties. The staff is genuinely friendly.....every single one of them. Dr. Quinn is honestly the perfect pediatric dentist. He's warm, energetic, and naturally great with children. His instagram has the same energy, which is what brought us here. He had my kiddo laughing and totally at ease. He's also extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in a way that parents can make informed decisions without feeling overwhelmed. It's evident that the entire team is well-trained and has a thoughtful approach to working with kids and families. Finding a truly great pediatric dentist can be so difficult, and I'm incredibly grateful to have found this place. Highly, highly recommend! read more
