It doesn't actually match the school academics/substance. Parents save yourself the hassle and kids find a school that practice what they preach. Which have qualified teachers and administrators. Hubby told me that many of the games were at McCarran Marketplace Park, too. Finally, the team returned to this field to play their final game of the Season. Thanks to Scott for securing this field for us. Beautiful Day, windy at times, but appreciate the trees for Shade during this early summer day. It was a good turnout. Both sides were under the trees. Many trash cans are on the Field. Two parking lots are available. There are usually may other things commencing at the School, so the front one is usually packed. We parked in the back parking lot, for buses, since we would be closer to the Field where our boys were playing.

Ms. Fara is one of the greatest of all time. She loves those kids like her own, and knows how to get the most out of them in the classroom. I can easily say that they are better people and stronger academically then they would have been having had any other teacher. We did have a not so great experience with another teacher at the school, but if you can get Ms. Fara, I HIGHLY recommend this school.

I was concerned for him but couldn't even get his teacher at his old school to return my phone calls. After I moved him to Batterman the teacher there actually took the first stepped and reached out to us about his concerns and with his help we were able to get our son diagnosed with his learning disability. He is now doing better in school then ever! Mr Sparrow, the principle is very caring. We have been very happy with all of the teachers our kids have had throughout their time there. The teachers are all willing to set up time to sit down and talk if there are any issues or concerns. All the parents that I have talked to all love Batterman and fill lucky to have their kids be able to go to such an outstanding school. Our kids have grown a lot academically here and love going to this school.

From my first contact with the staff and administration, you could tell this place was about providing a nurturing and excellent environment to the children. This school really does foster diversity. It's not just words that are used in advertisement. They foster those values in the classroom and everyone is made to feel included in all they do. In short, they practice what they preach. The academics are excellent. I'm a believer in giving children a balanced learning environment. Hundreds of hours of homework does not make a child enjoy learning. I like that there is work time and play time appropriate for the age. And honestly, at these grade levels, too much homework equates to extra work for the parents. This school chooses an appropriate amount of work for each grade level. My son has thrived since moving to this school. FLA has been a true blessing to our family. It was slightly frustrating, but once in, it's a wonderful place. Teachers are incredible and kind, communicative and supportive. I've decided that the idea of a successful education is all about the cooperation and coordination and commitment of parents and teachers. Communication is key and knowing the difference between academia and childcare is key. Doral is not the latter. It requires input and involvement. When this is done well, I feel like the kids win. Administration is bomb. Teachers are first-rate. The facilities are great, despite its smaller footprint. Love this school.
