I toured at least 10 elementary schools, some religious, some other Merryhill Schools and some public schools. Public school classes are so large and I knew it wasn't for us. Curriculum is huge to me and Merryhill is pretty unbeatable in the area. I toured a Merryhill closer to me but didn't get "that feeling". When I toured Durango fireworks went off! I know that sounds strange but the feels are unbelievable in this school! I was a stranger but every staff member welcomed my family and especially my daughter. Principals are a huge part of a school community and I've been blessed with the best at Merryhill! This location is ran by Kim Roden and she will move mountains for our kids. Her personality is 1 in a million and the teachers and staff are the same . We are half way thru this school year and I know I made the right choice. Merryhill is worth's ore than a 5 star review and if you tour here you will see that too!!

Twelve games in the regular season (minus pre-season). We are very familiar with this Field because my husband coaches a NYS flag football team, three different team names. This was the HOME field, and where the majority of the season's games were played. (Set-up is similar to Fertitta, except at Fertitta, you walk down the stairs to the Field.) Two parking lots, one in the front, and one in the back, for Faculty and buses, I think. My son's school team will play them twice, Game 8- away- October 1, 2026, thursday, yesterday, which was a loss, due to multiple ineligibles as well as other factors, and the last game, of the regular season, upcoming, Game 14- home- October 27, 2026. Just learned that ineligible players cannot ride the bus. Not sure if this is a CCSD thing. Or if this is a specific school policy. Not sure if the refs were being fair, but some parents on our end were saying that there were some bad calls. I think there was a manual score board but since the sun was facing it, it was hard to see it. The crowd was not rowdy, which is good. (I have mentioned that in the past of other games, especially, last season.)

I was concerned for him but couldn't even get his teacher at his old school to return my phone calls. After I moved him to Batterman the teacher there actually took the first stepped and reached out to us about his concerns and with his help we were able to get our son diagnosed with his learning disability. He is now doing better in school then ever! Mr Sparrow, the principle is very caring. We have been very happy with all of the teachers our kids have had throughout their time there. The teachers are all willing to set up time to sit down and talk if there are any issues or concerns. All the parents that I have talked to all love Batterman and fill lucky to have their kids be able to go to such an outstanding school. Our kids have grown a lot academically here and love going to this school.

From the set design to the costumes, the music, and the choreography, everything is executed so professionally, yet with a warmth and joy that only a school production can bring.
