Wayne Homes had a long standing reputation of building quality homes. They've been around a long time. And we can tell you now from experience, that Wayne lives up to those expectations! We had the best experience with Wayne! We had the BEST New Home Consultant, Melanie Ritz. We now consider her a great friend! We had the BEST Field Manager, Lee Roberts! He got things done and he got them done quickly! We couldn't have asked for a better team of the nicest people!!! The contractors were all prompt and did quality work. We are now in our home and there are a few loose ends that need finished up. Lee is always in contact with us and is taking care of everything that still needs complete. Many people often comment that with Wayne, everything is extra. And sometimes, that is the case. However, we prefer it that way. That way you can pick and choose exactly what you want. Their prices are less, so that it gives you leeway to add in those extras. Other homebuilders, which are also wonderful at their craft, include a lot of these extras, which is super handy for some people! Less to think about and decide upon! However, those inclusions are reflected in their higher prices. It's all a person's preference and that is perfectly fine! I love that there are options for people. Working with Wayne Homes was a wonderful experience for us from start to finish. Without exception, all the staff members were helpful and accommodating. Building a house can be very stressful, but Wayne does everything they can to make you comfortable and knowledgeable about the process. That is not to say there were not snags along the way (anytime you build a house there will be snags), but Wayne was always there to help us work through them. Well, I never really understood the meaning when looking to build a new home, that when you walk in to a builders model, see the product and meet a phenomenal sales team "you just KNOW you have found HOME". Not only that , the sales team, construction team, and everyone involved all the way through the process were truly passionate about my home. Melanie and Jenn at the Sandusky model embarrassed my dream as if it were their own! Lou , the superstar project manager was there every step of the way. Even when my list of questions were endless. We ran into a slight issue, Todd and Lou met with me personally at my homesite within 48 hours. The situation was resolved immediately by Wayne Homes no reservation or hesitation on their part. Wayne Homes brings your life vision and dream to reality. They are honest, hardworking, and always go above and beyond the call of duty. Being a novice at building, the only (2) items I wish during the design phase would have been discussed more was the actual standard shower size, and what to watch out for with the larger washer and dryers so they will fit up against a utility room back wall. I did not realize how big appliances are now, and did not allow for this during construction design. We have built 2 Wayne Homes. Starting in 2001 we built a 2 story home called Galileo in Bellevue, OH. As our children grew and our needs changed we relocated to Sandusky, OH and in 2009 built a ranch home called Montgomery where we still reside.
