We were repeatedly told "you're next" and "within weeks," but dates slipped with no firm schedule. In June 2025--nearly a year after paying--they were still saying we were "next." Key facts: - Deposit (July 2024): Months of "paperwork is submitted" messages, yet we never received a permit number or proof of submittal/approval. In Jan 2025 we were told paperwork had been submitted "yesterday," contradicting prior assurances. - Permitting (Winter-Spring 2025): The City issued adjudication orders and the permit was not approved until May 2025--~10 months after signing. (We can provide documentation if needed.) - No on-site work (through July 2025): Despite promises of a March start, there was still no crew on site and no schedule we could rely on. - Shell left exposed: The fiberglass shell sat outside uncovered for months with no start date in sight. We ultimately had them drop the shell at our property while we hired another installer to complete the project. Bottom line: After 13 months, aside from dropping the shell at our home, no installation work was performed. Communication was pleasant at times, but pleasant texts don't build pools. We would not hire again and do not recommend.

They tarp everything, lay plywood against the house to protect it and the plants, sweep up the sidewalks, even put wood down to protect the lawn from the roll off dumpster. My mother in law needed a roof and called one of the companies that advertise on TV. She became upset when the TV roofing companies kept calling her to pressure her to sign a contact. I told her to check on those companies on the BBB and then call ACE Roofing. She had Mike replace her roof was very happy with the work and was never pressured. My parents had a roof installed by Mike two days before the tornado passed their house 6 doors down in Millbury, never lost a shingle yet they had the top of their 30 foot tree break off. A 60 MPH wind storm we had in early march 2017 took a half dozen shingles off. Nearly every house in the neighborhood has the same damage. I called Mike that day and he was there the next day to fix the damage. Many of the neighbors are still waiting on their roofers to come out and repair theirs with far more damage. If you are considering a roof, read the reviews of all of the big roofing companies that have to advertise and then check ACE Roofing who relies on word of mouth. I think if you ask any of Mike's customers, I believe you will find everyone of them was pleased with his work,.... including the neighbors. Ordered additional materials. Called on Thursday 6/20/19 to say materials were in and he'd be out Saturday 6/22/19. Installed new stairs and made adjustments. Looks so much more professional. Maybe they should consider letting go of a crew that can't do the job.
