Workers were very respectful and professional, answered all my questions, they consulted with me throughout the rewire day (placements of outlets, height of outlets and switches, hard to reach places and the choices), and even cleaned up after themselves well. Found some cool-looking lights and decided to contact Matt Larson and get an estimate for installation. Decided to message him on Yelp and pretty quickly got a reply back. Love people/companies who are responsive to customer requests! We were able to set up an installation day/time, despite a week full of rainy days. On the day of installation, Matt and his son Brayden arrived at the agreed upon time. They were both very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Even though it was pretty chilly outside, they were able to install all 4 lights up skillfully and without any issues. We also loved the father-son dynamic where you could tell they communicated with each other respectfully. Pricing was reasonable and we now get to enjoy the new look of our lights! Daniel and his young son (another future electrician) showed up and performed a full panel replacement so my electrical circuit panel box can now pass City code inspection without risk of fire. Yay! This was no small job, and entailed disconnecting and removing the old circuit breakers and cutting a larger hole in the sheetrock to replace; then patch up. Daniel took care of filing the permit with the City. As usual, the job was done professionally, meticulously, and for a very fair price that no other electrical company can beat. He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

We also asked him to install a junction box under our gas cooktop for a 240-volt line. He ran the 240-volt line from the new sub-panel. This new line was in case we ever wanted to replace the cooktop with an induction cooktop. Most recently he came back to move the junction box, as we had decided to get that induction cooktop after all, and it spec'd a junction box lower down than Mike installed. (Of course, if we'd picked a cooktop ahead of time and had the spec, this extra trip would not have been needed.) Every time he's come, he's been on time, very pleasant, and cleans up any mess the job created. And, his jobs are very precise and neat.

They said that if the parts had any premature issues that they would replace them within a 2-year window from installation. I believe it was Elijah who assisted us. He came in and already had shoe covers on his shoes to protect our floors, which was nice. He quickly and efficiently replaced both of our light switches and also answered a few questions we had about various other potential electrical projects.
