LOCATION- the office is located in a large intersection- the Regions Bank Building on 36th and Biscayne so its impossible to miss it! Parking is free and offices are tidy! STAFF- the reason why i chose this DR to begin with was the service i got over the phone- i went through a list of places and most places had really unprofessional and rude receptionists- at which case i hung up and tried a different number until BINGO! i hit this office. The receptionist is very polite and soft spoken. She is very professional and just a pleasure to speak to! Very nice and friendly -first PLUS! I did wait a little longer than usual but the front desk young lady told me that my insurance was having technical difficulties and she couldn't get in touch with them. They had a nice big flat screen TV in the reception which made my wait barely noticeable. DR- She is extremely nice and polite. So genuinely concerned and listened to all my crazy rants and medical history ups and downs. She was very receptive to all my comments and offered great advice and even helped me with recommendations on other specialists i should see. She even had the front desk girl make copies with specialist information and wrote referrals so i wouldn't have any problems with my insurance covering my services. She also took down the names of all my prescription meds and found cheaper alternatives and then sent them directly to my pharmacy so i wouldn't even have to bother dropping them off WOW! this place is really amazing and understands people and how to take care of them and their needs. I would most definitely recommend this place 100%

But you know what, a lot of moms are unhappy with their chlidren's doctors and for once, I've found a wonderful one and wanted to share it with the world! Geez...I sound like some crazed lunatic, but I had a pretty rough week with my daughter (she has some creepy rash) and Dr. O helped us out big time. Other pluses? There is never a wait, she always calls back when you have questions, the practice is uber clean and the nurses are nice. Which is a nice change in an industry chockfull of dirty waiting rooms, hour-long waits and wicked help. So if you live near the Design District and are fishing around for a new doc, go here. I don't expect her to memorize every child's name that comes to her practice but this is just one example of her impersonality. Henry, the dog and her staff are friendlier. Her staff, by the way are accommodating and patient. She is a straight shooter. Down to business. No warmth,no cuddles, no rainbows and no goddamn bubbles. Get in and get the hell out. Again no problem with her staff. I will never forget how she scolded me when she discovered that I did not realize that my child was autistic. How the eff am I supposed to know?? Smh. I have a new pediatrician now and the experience is way better. And the practice I go to now is BUSIER. But when my pediatrician sits down with my child I see leprauchans and a pot of gold. And no my pediatrician DOES NOT know my child's name by heart either but she CONNECTS with me and child during our visit. Therin lies the difference. I hesitated to write this review for years because of all the glowing reviews. But now I see I'm not the only one. She's not horrible but one can do better. Meh. Oh, but the one good thing, about her is that she is not focused on prescribing unnecessary medicines/antibiotics. I'll add another star just for that.

What a fucking joke this place is! Set an appointment three months in advance (not by choice), take…read morethe day off from work and show up ON TIME and the office has the audacity to tell me that my appointment was actually an hour prior and I would have to call and reschedule. Everyone in the office clearly hate their jobs, life, existence and treat every person walking through the door like a second class citizen. No wait, even that would be okay - you're treated like a fucking cockroach. A strain on society. It's a pathetic country that we live in when you pay monthly for health care coverage set up by the government and are still unable to see a doctor without having to jump through hoops. This clinic is set up like the DMV and is a total nightmare. A patient came in on a stretcher and needed oxygen and the doctor literally came out with a smile and told her she didn't have an appointment and that she could wait on the emergency oxygen tank, but it may run out since she'll be waiting for a while. Even the EMT who brought her in was confused and in awe of the total lack of care being given. Luckily he was able to convince the clinic to hook the patient up to their oxygen tank. WHAT A CHOP SHOP. Went home, canceled my shitty obamacare and would rather risk it. I wouldn't be surprised if this clinic recycles supplies and needles.

According to his assistant he heard a recording of how rude i was with his staff and decided to drop a 90 year old patient. I consulted with my attorney and he said it was against the law for the office to record,. let alone not advise of the recording. Additionally, the Dr. had his office call to drop this patient without so much as a regret. Refused to request his referrals for upcoming appointments, so do not think much of this physician. Grievance will be filed with the insurance to drop this physician from the plan.

This was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with the healthcare system…read more I arrived for my mammogram, and upon checking in, I was asked to provide my prescription--even though I had already submitted it when scheduling the appointment (they won't even schedule the exam without it). Jackie, the lead at the front desk, immediately suggested that I reschedule. It is unbelievable that the office could lose the information they already had on file and then simply ask patients to reschedule instead of making any effort to find a solution or retrieve the documentation. The lack of accountability and willingness to help was extremely disappointing.
