Great spot for drinks, country dancing, and a little pool sharking, if that's what you're into!…read more We came here for the Hunter's Ball and had a good time, but I was a little disappointed to learn that it was going to be a DJ, instead of a live band. Had some drinks, played some pool, and entered the gun raffle. They have a great dance floor, but there weren't too many single guys to dance with by 9PM...and I asked a lot of guys if they could dance, and they looked like deer in headlights...so we ended up leaving to hit another dancehall. I think there was a big group having a birthday party, so it was a lot of people, but not a lot of dancers. I'd come back here when I want to get out of my small town, but plan to stay late and see who shows up!

Latino musicnight last night was a true disappointment. Owner/DJ/@pardners stating that something…read more"isn't racist" does not negate the intent or the impact it may have had. Repeating that it wasn't racist and defending that behavior doesn't make it acceptable -- it only serves to dismiss legitimate concerns and brush them aside. By definition, racism involves treating someone unfairly, excluding, harassing, or demeaning them based on their race or ethnicity. When the DJ used the phrase "your people," it was clearly exclusionary. When he said, "If I only play Latino music, then the others will leave," it positioned our presence as a problem and created a sense of unwelcome. The situation escalated further when our group was asked to leave -- not for being disruptive, but simply for disagreeing with the music -- while the DJ referred to us as "you and your fucking people." That is not only unprofessional, but also deeply offensive and humiliating. Even your comment about "staying in your own lane" implies exclusion. Why? Because we voiced our disagreement? Because we stood up for ourselves and asked to celebrate Latino culture on a night that was specifically promoted as Latino Night? You've suggested this issue only occurred because your regular DJ wasn't present, but this behavior reflects a broader, ongoing pattern. Regardless of who was in the DJ booth, the treatment of that group was inappropriate and inexcusable. Defending it -- and attempting to shift the narrative -- is deeply disappointing. And respectfully, claiming that you used your own money to promote Latino Night in an attempt to gain sympathy is out of touch. You own a large, well-established club. Investing in the promotion of your own events is a business expense -- not a personal sacrifice. If you'r going to promote a cultural night, you have a responsibility to respect and honor the community you're representing.

They make appointments and don't honor…read morethem, they have absolutely no regard for your time and are the most unorganized garage in the history of garages. Surly service writers, brand new junk cars lined up 6 deep and personnel who could not care less about you driving there and scheduling your day around an oil change. I was actually embarrassed for them since I know it's a choice to be that incompetent

The sign that says Free vitamin D is cute. I am sure this park was very cool in its hay day but now it needs some major upgrades. The play holes are in terrible condition. I know we are not the best golfers, but seriously it took forever to get our balls in the holes. The place does have a cool hippy vibe which was one of my favorite things about it. I also thought the older gentleman was kind too, he let me have a little bit of his plants, but seriously, man, get some upgrades. The price is reasonable. I would recommend this place if you are just wanting to have fun with your family/friends and don't care much about winning or how in terrible shape the holes are in. It's a nice atmosphere just needs a little TLC.

Was…read moresurprised at the two star review that showed up shortly after our first visit, so we were looking to seeing if the previous good visit was a fluke. Service is outstanding, we were greeted and got our drink orders in about 60 seconds after we sat down. Server was friendly, and we had a good visit talking to her when she would stop by to check on us. Our daily special was the chicken and dumplings, and we got fried okra, mashed potatoes, pintos, collards, and gravy between us for sides. Everything was fresh and homemade, and very, very tasty. Good solid country fare. If you're originally from rural vs urban, you'll feel right at home. If you want old time country diner experience, you'll be pleased. Just to clarify, this is a "seat yourself" place, with a LARGE SIGN stating that as you walk in. There is no door greeter/hostess station, and the counter is as far away from the front door as you can get and still be in the same room. (They also have a sign at the entrance about the card fee, like most places do these days). Well worth a return visit!

Our service was great, the food came out quickly and it was hot!…read more We got chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. The fried okra could use some seasoning. We enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back when in the area.
