While I can't say with absolute certainty that WD is responsible for our bird's death, I can say that WD represented a significant source of our bird's diet. On October 3, we noted our bird was ill and took him to an emergency vet and was prescribed antibiotics. He passed away October 5, 2019. A necropsy was performed on October 7. The results issued on October 16, 2019 by the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Fort Collins, CO. Our bird suffered from Enteritis which caused vomiting. As a consequence of the vomiting, he aspirated fluids and developed pneumonia which resulted in his death. [The enteritis was the result of the food he was eating based upon a discussion with our vet] Besides the above, our experience with WD was negative. While we were initially pleased with the treatment we received, our orders started getting increasingly delayed, promises were made and not kept by WD. Ultimately we decided to stop using WD the day before our bird took ill. We made this decision based upon our personal experience and similar experiences we read online. read more

I was a devoted customer purchasing my bird food. I was on a first name basis with the Owner. Messaged back and forth many many times. Always got my orders on time. She was having troubles with the company many of the customers complaining about not receiving their orders. Then it finally hit me too. I placed an order for $101 and never received it she made promises it was on its way. It's been 2 months and now she ghosted me. DO NOT TRUST YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY !!!! read more

I found Wayley's via Avia Avenue message board. I assumed that if she was on a bird forum that her food was good so I actually ordered a bunch of food...before I had my bird! The food looks fantastic; full slivered almonds, big pieces of dried fruit, full mealworms etc. I got my bird, who was on an all seed diet, and started working on getting him on fresh foods and pellets. I would put out some of Wayley's chop, dry, and the bird wouldn't eat it but I didn't think anything of it, he didn't eat much of anything besides seed. Slowly I have gotten him to eat fresh birdy bread made with lots of veggies and ground up pellets. Once that was a go I started introducing fresh chopped veggies and barley. Great. He loves it all. I'd try some Wayley's re-hydrated chop (3 different kinds) as well as Mash (2 different kinds) and he won't touch it. Won't eat it dry either. Well, recently it's come to my attention that the food might not be what it's claimed to be. PLEASE go to Avian Avenue, marketplace, and then read the vendor etiquette thread. read more

I made an order June 30th 2019, received it 39 days later. It was over 2 weeks late, After several inquires, I'd even asked for a refund. She shipped the next day. The food looked good, but the packages of mixes, mashes, and other edible items were all missing the listing of ingredients, percentages of crude fat, protein, moisture and fiber. There were no weights listed on the packages, nor any procedures to making the products. No expiration or best by dates. Anyone with parrots knows that knowledge of ingredients is a must for the different species and their needs. Some of the mixes are complicated, and not knowing how to prepare, how much water to add, how long to soak/cook made them unusable to me. Being organic, not knowing the shelf life, nor processed dates, made me fear possible mold growth if they got too old in my pantry. Missing such basic information was a red flag, and sadly I tossed the products. I think it's a legal necessity to have these things listed. read more

I purchased large quantities of food from there. Everything seemed great at first. Suddenly my bird started getting sick after eating their food for 2 months. I took my bird to my vet and he told me to discard the food immediately. My bird is better now that I stopped feeding his this junk. I had an outstanding order and asked for a refund and they denied me my refund and never sent me anything. I found out later that they are scam artists and have been doing this for years. I later realized, how could I trust my bird's life with someone I don't even know? There was NO labeling on the packages and come to find out, they werent even registered to do sell. I don't recommend Wayley's Dailies for several reasons. It took over a month for something to ship, and it was only shipped after I filed a claim on PayPal. I asked for a refund and to cancel my order, but that request was ignored and the items I did not want were shipped anyways. The website says 7-14 days to process. The owners are moving buildings so they might be backed up, but if that is the case they should know this and adjust their processing times on the website. I was also missing one item I ordered (I ordered Kinda Corny pieces and got corn wheels instead), and I didn't receive any "extra treats" that I was promised for the very long shipping time, or the bonus treat for choosing to adopt from a bird rescue. This leads me to no longer trust this company, since there were a few empty promises. More alarmingly, there was none of the required nutritional facts or ingredients labeled on any of the packaging, so I have no idea what I am really feeding my birds. I think it is very dangerous to feed something unknown to any pets, especially delicate birds. I do not trust the ingredients and I will not be feeding this to my birds, and I do not recommend anyone else purchases from this company. read more

This company is a fraud. They took my money and to this date have not had the decency to contact me nor offer me a refund since I never received the products I ordered. One star is one too many in my opinion. I hope the authorities catch up with these thieves and justice is served. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

Our birds consumed food strictly from Wayley's Dailies, for approximately 4 months. Initially, orders were shipped immediately, but over time, shipping delays started, webbing, worms, mold and plastic, were found in unopened bags, items would be claimed to have been shipped but missing, freebies were promised for these 'oversights' but never given, labels & instructions were missing on packaging and most were short in weight versus what was advertised and paid for. 6 of our parakeets unexpectedly died from acute liver toxicity. ALL of the remaining surviving birds were put on an emergency liver detox, as they were all in critical stages and their livers were being poisoned & rapidly deteriorating. I immediately asked for a refund of all outstanding/late orders that were not yet shipped. They initially advised that they would reimburse but never did, so I had to file a PayPal claim. Wayley's Dailies immediately responded to the PayPal claim with false tracking information to make it appear as if all items were previously shipped and tried to stop us from getting our refund back. Thankfully, PayPal discovered their scam and reimbursed us in full. The remaining surviving birds are now in stable condition after months of treatment and changes to an ACTUAL organic diet safely made by me at home. Ths birds' multiple bloodwork results & lab reports clearly reflect the impact of the birds' health BEFORE, DURING and AFTER consuming Wayleys Dailies. Bile acids, cholesterol, SGOT levels ALL came back down to normal ranges after we stopped feeding them food from Wayleys Dailies. Please do not purchase food from this vendor who is NOT regulated or inspected by any governing agency. read more
