New owners and this place is yummy! Super clean inside, good food and I downed my burger and onion rings!

The guy at the register compared their food to Sonic and he made a valid point. It was nothing special and some aspects were kinda gross. Everything was sticky and dirty. Their cheese sauce is cheese whiz and had hard clumps in it so not great. The Bergers were okay, super small and kinda soggy, even half the price would have been overpriced. The guy automatically rang us up for combos even though we just asked for one fry to share Their bacon is as thin as paper and flavorless as well. We pulled up at dinner time on a Saturday night and were wondering why no one else was there, now we know.

Bacon cheeseburger with everything and a side of 1/2 & 1/2. 2.5/5 (extra .5 for fresh toppings)

Burger was disappointing. Patty had almost no sear on it. Combine that with unseasoned, cheap, flavorless beef and you've got a loser burger. So many burger joints smash beef these days for that nice even sear. But here the beef is packed very loosely and there is so much oil on the griddle they are basically fried. No good. I had their onion rings and fries as well. Onion rings were super greasy inside, overcooked and hard outside. I'm not a fan. Fries were unspectacular for fresh cut. Wayback is fast casual with counter service, burgers fresh and cooked to order. So don't expect them to be fast. Especially with only two people working. Dining room feels like a Wendy's or some other average fast food. Sorry Wayback, I'm just not that into you.

    Cheeeeeeesy

Holy cow! I haven't had a burger this good since smash burger was around! Fried pickles are a must here! This is a cheeeeeeesy with Swiss. And no- you're not seeing double. It was SO delicious! Made to order, the way it should be! Best burger joint around! I got extra pickles, grilled onions and jalapeños.

It was good place to eat. I would recommend it if you're in the area. Good burgers and if you want good burgers. Eat this place.

Our server was an absolute sweetheart, clearly part of the family, and so proud to help take our order. She was polite, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal and genuine. The burgers themselves were outstanding. They were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly to order. You could tell everything was made with care, not mass-produced. The fries were crispy and hot, and the portions were generous. Best part? The prices were incredibly fair for the quality you get. No corners cut, no hidden fees, just honest food at honest prices. This is the kind of place you root for...a real family business doing it right. We'll definitely be back, and we're already telling our friends. Support local when you can, and this spot is a perfect example of why it's worth it!

Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef - Edmond, OK…read more In my ongoing hunt for solid comfort food around Edmond, I decided to give Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef a try--and this one is definitely worth a visit. It's a relatively small spot on 2nd Street, but don't let the size fool you. This place delivers big where it matters: hot, made-to-order food and friendly service that makes you feel welcome right away. I walked in fully intending to go with a classic burger... but sometimes you've got to listen to the people. On their way out, a couple told us it was their first visit too and highly recommended the French Dip and the daily special. That was all I needed--I made the audible. What We Ordered: * French Dip with au jus and fries * Chili Cheeseburger with fries The Food: The French Dip was the star for me--tender beef, plenty of melted cheese, and that au jus brought it all together. Solid, no-frills comfort food done right. The chili cheeseburger was messy (in a good way) and packed with flavor. Fries were crispy and did their job. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how you want it. The Vibe: Casual, laid-back, and exactly what you'd expect from a local comfort food joint. Nothing fancy--but that's not why you're here. Service: Very friendly across the board. You can tell they care about the experience, and that goes a long way. Final Thoughts: This is one of those places where you already know you'll be back before you leave. Next visit, I'm going all-in on the burger lineup--and after seeing that dessert case, I may need to save room. If you're in Edmond and craving comfort food, put this one on your list.

The entrance has had a light refresh as well. Gone is the big glass dessert display case but the additional walking space is nice. Sadly we learned that the cakes are being discontinued, RIP the wonderful carrot cake. Fortunately we snagged one of the last pieces. It's my understanding that cookies and other sweet treats will still be available. The menu is loaded with new and exciting choices. Deciding what to choose was a great problem to have. We started with the Trio Dipper with house made chips and balloon bread, which is like pita bread on steroids and just as delicious. The dip selections were terrific and we were brought more chips when ours ran low. Two of us ordered the Tuscan Chicken. They were exceptional bites. They were parmesan breaded chicken fritters stuffed with the tomatoes and cheese. It's an inventive take on a traditional recipe and a tasty home run! My husband ordered the Chicken Piccata, looking for a lower calorie option. The lemon butter wine sauce was delicious and it's a terrific option. The last guest chose the fried chicken which is an old and familiar favorite. You absolutely cannot go wrong. We ended the night sharing a piece of carrot cake and a salted caramel cookie.

This place is great for special occasions like anniversaries, date nights, etc. Be sure to make a reservation before you go. Their halibut with crab topping is seriously excellent!!! If I were on death row and had to choose a last meal, this dish would be one of the memorable dishes I have had in my life that I would consider being the last thing I'd want to eat before I went to see the good Lord. lol Also, I didn't think l'd like the stuffed chicken (w/ spinach, crab, bacon and mushrooms), but l've had it twice now and it's an excellent dish as well. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived so had to wait by the door. after getting seated at a wobbly table, we ordered drinks. Two of our drinks weren't as ordered, but they fixed that. I had the scallops, which were just ok. The broccoli was mushy with too much cheese sauce & scalloped potatoes basically had no flavor. My husband's pork dish was dry but he ate it anyway as it was expensive. Our friend's pasta was good, she said. When I went to the restroom there were no towels to dry my hands. We felt cramped and it was hot, not the upscale experience we expected. Our server was nice, which helped. We observed the staff greeting all the regulars with hugs & attentive service, which we definitely did not experience. I really wanted to love Signature Grill like I used to years ago, but there's no way my husband is going back there. If You're looking for a wonderful experience for a special dinner, I would recommend going elsewhere. There are too many nice restaurants in the Edmond/OKC area with much better service and food.
