Not a fan. Wieners taste like they are the cheapest you can buy at the supermarket. Think bar S. level... If you can get downtown, the Coney Island down there which is not affiliated with this outfit is much better. Local products full of flavor etc. Wanted to love this place, but it is more expensive and lower quality than what you can find downtown . The chili is OK. Basic but not gross. Great location, clean and nice Thunder-centric decor. Friendly staff and our orders arrived quickly. However the quality of the hot dogs themselves is poor. It was so disappointing. We've been looking for a good hot dog place for a few months and thought that this would be the one. If they improve the hot dog quality, that will be a BIG step toward a better product. The vibe here is strong - wall-to-wall Oklahoma City Thunder gear and sports nostalgia that kept me entertained throughout the visit! According to my Swarm app, it's been since 2012 since I last stopped in -- and honestly, I remembered it differently. Both my wife and I ordered the Famous Coney. Great presentation, but the flavor just didn't hit the mark for me this time. Also worth noting: no fries, just chips... and no utensils made cleanup a bit messy. Jake's used to be our absolute favorite to pop in and grab the very best chili dog for a fair price. No More. Hot dogs are no longer Nathen's and taste like watered down non meat byproducts. They are so gross and flavorless. Chips were out of date and chili seemed a little watered down. I get things have gone up in price but I'd gladly pay more for the quality they used to have. Ate here today for the first time and I must confess it is not bad! I wish there were more Coney Island places in Edmond closer to our house like Jakes. My son also enjoyed the food. The menu is very simple but still offer a nice selection of different coneys for everyone. In addition to coneys they have frito chili pie and nachos. You can get 1-4 coneys per combo or mix and match any of the combos. We had four coneys between the three of us and a frito chili pie. I thought everything was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. This is a great place for a quick bite. We will definitely be back. read more

Wish we liked this place more! We were in the mood for hot dog, and this place seemed pretty good in terms of reviews but...eh. We got the Western and the atomic to go, and I think we could do a little better. The sizes of the hot dogs were kinda small. Maybe if the portions were a little big we could be swayed. Too much sauce on the Western hot dog, and too little chilli on the atomic hot dog. So all in all, we really weren't too crazy impressed with what they had to offer. I think it's about 6$ for 2 hot dogs and a drink, but still, not exactly my favorite hot dog place. Pros is probably that they're really generous with the cheese though. Other than that, I don't think they have much we'd come back for. read more

We got Famous, Carolina, Long Island and Cheesy Jalapeño. Overall the food was good and it was made quickly. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The hot dogs were a bit small and made with plain buns. The kraut was delicious and not super bitter. There wasn't anything special about them but the price was excellent and the atmosphere was good. Nice clean little place, great for a cheap date night! Hubs and I don't have a big date night budget but with five kids, sometimes you just gotta get out reguardless. At about three bucks a pop, the hotdogs fit the bill. The chili sauce is very nice, and the buns were perfectly steamed! We tried four different dogs and enjoyed all of them, even the BBQ one. The slaw on the Carolina was nice, we had the Famous Coney, the Long Island, the Carolina and the Western. Had we not been going to use an ice cream gift certificate we had, we'd probably have had a third each. (though I'd have loved fries with them too, but they are not on offer, which is actually kinda nice once in a while to force me NOT to eat fries! lol so addicting!). But you can get chips, Nacho's, spaghetti chili, a chili bowl or Frito pie. It's a great place for me to take the kids one at a time, or in packs on a mommy and me day excursion that wouldn't break the bank too! The only other coney I've ever had was Roak's back home in Oregon, these are nothing like those unfortunately, but they certainly are good. The proprietor was super nice. The hot dogs are tasty but for hotdogs a little pricey but nothing out of the ordinary compared to other hot dog places. I really enjoyed my meal here. I got hot dogs. Girlfriend got chili spaghetti and I think she had a little less joy. The good: tasty hot dogs. Lots of options. Affordable combos. Honestly, affordable combos is a bit of a must for me at a coney place. The price tends to shoot up quickly in some spots. For a dollar, you can upgrade your dog to a larger beef dog or braut. Nice. The bad: your girlfriend might get chili spaghetti and then steal your hot dogs like a thieving little thief. Note: the chili spaghetti isn't bad, but I think she just got tired of it. I've been going back and forth on how to rate this place because I got takeout during the Rona. The atmosphere was kind a lame and the pickup experience wasn't great but I have to give the benefit of the doubt because the Rona.
