Sergio and Corinn were in touch with me throughout the move-in and I appreciated that immensely. They also kept in touch throughout the year to check in and keep us updated for the weather conditions and such. They truly put together a clean and welcoming apartment and it was clear to me they truly wanted to make those of us who rented from them welcome. There record keeping is horrible. I would mail a check into the business office two weeks before the rent is due and they would not log it in, i would occur late fees and twice i had to go to the bank and get a physical check to avoid a late fee. The office then deposited both checks and overdrew my account. Then said I had NSF charges. They later refunded the fees and charges but haven't removed their mistake from my files. There was a hole in my ceiling from incomplete work from a leak that i had for 3 months. The hole was there for 6 months. I had to threaten to withhold rent to have it repaired. They allowed my car to be illegally towed. They have no control over their tenatants no matter how many noise complaints you make. There was someone living in their car outside my bedroom window. They are the worst place to live. The dumpsters are always overflowing. Cars a often broken into. There only concern is money. Don't do it!

Management discounted my rent $100 only after I waited for the repair for two weeks and then requested a discount- you didn't offer it on your own. Also, you offered to to allow me to take my own time and energy to to pack up and move my apartment to another place in the building- which I don't have to spare at the moment working overtime at the hospital- beyond the fact that the available apartment doesn't fit what I need from a living space. Don't try to blame this problem on COVID restrictions: the hole and damaged wall hadn't been repaired for three weeks before you announced COVID restrictions. Then this week, you sent a notice out to all of us informing us maintenance would enter for non-emergency repairs as long as tenants leave the apartment during the time maintenance is there. However, since that notice, you haven't contacted me to follow up about the repair from a month ago. Also, why are you only responding to me on Yelp? Why have you not responded to my emails or- better yet- CALLED ME IN PERSON like someone who knows how to communicate with a customer who has an issue???

The tenants are nice it's a pretty quiet building, even if you hear noise when you are in the hallway, as soon as you shut the apartment door it's quiet. My main complaint since moving here echos others - the management company itself is difficult, they manage a bunch of buildings here in UC and downtown, and clearly are understaffed. The maintenance staff is very good at what they do, but the apartments are in need of updating, they still have patterned plaster walls, and the wood floors are in poor condition. They also have no way to dispose of trash except through the emergency exits on the upper floors, which means the alarm goes off all day long. That said, they are reasonably priced, rent includes heat, the solar powered electric is inexpensive as well.
