The store associates sanitize the carts immediately when they are returned. There are also wipes located near the entrance and hand sanitizer. I liked that they control how many people enter the store. It allows for social distancing and makes you feel more comfortable shopping and looking at items before deciding whether to purchase or not. My friend had to speak with the manager about a previous purchase and the manager was very nice and accommodating.

It's just the way out maker intended things to be. Fast forward to me moving to Hershey for grad school from my delicate life surrounded by Trader Joe's, Sprouts, etc in the bosom of Orange County, CA and I was shocked, saddened, and defeated. This wonderful area that I now called home had two Trader Joe's "in my area", one being in Towson, MD and the other being in Philadelphia. Luckily, as I traveled back home to California during holidays, I'd be lucky enough to fly into and out of one of those airports so I'd make it a ritual to stop by TJs on my way home as long as I flew in before they closed. Still though, going to TJs once every few months isn't ideal. So imagine my delight when I'm driving to my clinical rotation site at State College, and what do I see - Trader mutha$#*in' JOE'S. I'm only up here for 5 weeks total, but I've gone here every single day so far. I've probably spent about $500 in the last four weeks. I love this place. It's exactly how Trader Joe's should be: bright, inviting, clean, and with an excellent selection of food and goods. Hell, even the staff is as jovial as the ones back home, which is proof that they have incredible system-wide hiring practices. If you're in the area, go to Trader Joe's. Just bask in the glory of the wonderful stuff that they have. Pro tip: if you're going to do one thing to elevate your charcuterie game, make it the herb-crusted Chèvre goat cheese and grab a jar or the hot and sweet pepper jelly. Crackers are your choice. But do yourself this favor. Cheers!

I met one of the owners, Candy, & her beautiful daughter, working there. They let me taste several flavors. It was all just delicious! I'm actually salivating as I write this! I chose Blueberry & Coffee flavor in a waffle bowl! Livin' the Best Life! I was told it would taste like blueberry coffee cake, & indeed it did!! I don't know if my pants can afford for me to stop there again but my wallet can! 4 scoops & 2 waffle bowls totalled $7.50! Folks if you don't give this place a try, you are missin' out! In addition to fabulous ice cream they sell gorgeous hanging flower baskets & some potted flower arrangements (live plants.) I'm just so tickled I stopped here & I'll definitely be back again! Nice breeze, great patio area, lots of parking. Nice lady working there. Would love to have been able to see the menu before we were at the window, everyone was lining up in front of the window, which is where the signage is, so I didn't have much time to decide. My vision is not that great so it would be nice if they had signage somewhere else you could see while in line.

The vendors for a smaller market, were abundant, fresh pasta, mead, veggies, produce, pizza, honey, goat products, and a few bakery items. Huge compliments out to the organizers, it was amazing to have someone welcome you, and thank you, as you left the market. All vendors were friendly, whose stands that I visited and helpful. The gentleman that sold the Goat products, I do hope in the future to buy; as he was kind enough to call to find out stores in Altoona that sold their product. Highly recommend, Crumbkowski, Christina who is the pastry chef and owner, had an amazing set up, allowing customers to sample little pieces, buy whole squares, in addition to cookies and muffins. The Amish stand that had homemade potato chips, were out of this world; I'm sorry I didn't buy more to freeze. Great atmosphere and hope to return next time in town. Sorry didn't take pictures of my purchases.
