Skateboarding taught me to get back up. I got my first pro model when I was 9 years old and it has been a part of my everyday in some way shape or form. I have always been socially awkward and I could skate alone and eventually found people like myself. I am a part of a culture where skin color, age, weight, class or status doesn't matter.
