Very few places are run by real doctors - mostly by people who only completed short beauty courses. Lily is a doctor of Chinese medicine. She uses top-quality Italian and American equipment and offers bold, effective laser therapy solutions. After just a few sessions, we managed to smooth out the scars on my face, and a couple of marks on my nose became much less visible. Now, I go for a maintenance laser session every six months, use one cream, and my skin looks well cared for. Very uneducated and unprofessional approach to something that should just be standard practice in today's terms. Isolation is 5 days or until you have a negative test. Not 21 days. It's sad that I have to write such a negative review on what was actually a good experience. But the lack of knowledge on basic things would make me question the overall sanitary side of things. And why for me, I'll have to look elsewhere.

Always super-friendly and great to talk to, she makes you feel at ease straight away. Most importantly, she's great at her job and has a really vast knowledge of the latest technologies as well as those that have been around for years. I was lucky to get an amazing Groupon deal for this place - six sessions for 120 euro I think it was - but as far as I can see, they're pretty reasonably priced on a normal day anyway. The facilities here are fine - it's not super luxurious - just the one room inside Ballyowen Medical Centre, but it's modern, and most importantly, very clean. There's also lots of parking (free), so no need to stress about that. I've just taken one star off for the location - it's a bit of an odd one, although fine once you find it for the first time. Take note that there are two medical centres within Ballyowen Castle (don't get excited - it's not so much a castle as a random shopping centre in the middle of housing estates!). There is one medical centre next to Giraffe's childminding service called Primavera, which is not the one you want. You want the one next to the pharmacy and the Chinese. (In case you want a bite to eat after of course!!) Oh by the way, you are also only five minutes from Liffey Valley here if you fancied some shopping after your treatment... just sayin...!
