On my way home I always stop by Wawa for a quick breakfast. The make some excellent coffee and biscuit sandwiches. I always enjoy the sausage biscuit for my morning drive home from the beach. The employees are awesome... The Manager's are awful!!! Especially the girl with brown hair.. Always has a mean face on like she's Miserable !!! Very Unapproachable !!! Also she was very Unpleasant to me as well as other people. I am in there everyday ... Also a assistant manager a man ... younger kid that has a horrible disposition and is Ver Very unprofessional.... Had a problem with a sub and he argued with me about it and he said he had the power to get me band from the store... I was so embarrassed and he was SO RUDE !!! As someone who's grown up on eating wawa when it was late or there was nothing else good as an option, I've decided to post this Yelp review to share my rage. A lot of people love their cheesesteaks, They're quite literally known for them- So TELL ME WHY, Wawa has decided that serving a classic cheesesteak after 7 pm was a bad idea? SOME PEOPLE GET HUNGRY PAST 7pm such as me, Or teenagers with depression who don't get up till 5pm. Imagine my anger and disappointment when I went to door dash a delicious cheesesteak and all they were offering was CHICKEN! CHICKEN??? I don't know about you but if you're seriously craving a beefy cheesesteak and they're shoving chicken in your face- I'd be mad. In fact I am! I was so mad I cried, And once they didn't even tell me they weren't giving me cheesesteak they just gave me chicken instead! This used to be the best Wawa in the area and now you are lucky if they make the right sandwich. Last 5 trips to this store and they either made the sandwich completely wrong or gave me the entire wrong sandwich. I would not be so upset if the kid wasn't so high he couldn't comprehend what he did wrong. he pulled the sandwich from a DoorDash order and slapped it down for our sandwich. I was in Toms River this past weekend for my daughter's softball tournament and as we were leaving on Sunday after sitting in the crappy rainy weather we thankfully found this Wawa. It wasn't until recently that I became a fan of Wawa...and THIS one is awesome. This place, even in the crappy weather, was spotless. I absolutely love the fact that I can go in, put my sandwich order in at a kiosk, hit the bathroom, grab a coffee (I am really becoming a fan of their coffee) and some snacks for the ride home and my sandwich is ready. Fresh toppings, nice rolls, a great sandwich. Yeah, it's Wawa, but this place was a lifesaver on Sunday. read more

This is by far the best Wawa anywhere near Toms River. The place is pretty big and attracts a huge summer crowd. But, the crowds come for good reasons. Wawa ALWAYS has the cheapest gas on Rt. 37, so skip that other place on your way back from Seaside as it's usually $0.10 more per gallon than Wawa. This particular Wawa (and most others) has very good sandwiches that are made to order, and the sandwiches are very reasonably priced at about $4 each. Nice selection, clean bathrooms, friendly ENGLISH-SPEAKING employees, huge parking lot/gas area, perfect for your Summer lunch. read more

Every summer when I head down the shore, I stop at this Wawa for (1) inexpensive gas and/or (2) amazing sandwiches. Let's face it, boardwalk food is great, but it's either too greasy and fattening, or too expensive (often both). But going to Wawa ensures that I arrive on the beach with a tasty sandwich (ordered through the fancy-schmancy machine that makes your sub as you like) in hand. Also, Wawa has clean bathrooms--like really clean bathrooms. They even have cute pink and yellow garbage pails in every stall in the ladies' room. It's organized, convenient, and well-stocked with everything you would need. Note: This review is written for this particular Wawa. I know these convenient stores run rampant in South Jersey, but I highly doubt they are all the same. read more

This Wawa has the worst customer service in Wawa history! The cashiers look like they need to retire because they treat their customers like the bottom of the trash sandwiches that they make there. An old white woman cashier who says that do one thing while the credit machine states to do another thing, she then tells the customer to calm down when she's the one who needs to retire and calm down. I can see why she needs to work because her she probably lost her pension from her previous job and now she's stuck doing customer service. If you want good service and better food, go to the Quick Check across the street. They never tell you to "calm down". I hope the poor lad calls Corporate and reports her. read more

I will never visit this wawa again. First off, the girl Brittany behind the deli counter had a HORRIBLE atititude and was moving slower than slow with a jam packed store of people waiting. I got told my order was coming up soon and she saw it but wasn't to it yet BY BRITTANY because I asked why it was taking so long. Then the numbers were all being called that were way past mine about 35 mins later (no exaggeration) finally a nice young man that works behind that counter as well came over and comped something extra for the extra wait time while Brittany said it the background "I can't believe I didn't see Hers on the screen!" In front of him. SMH. Are you serious? Horrible. I could have sat down at a restaurant and got food faster. The following day the same thing pretty much happened with my husband. We paid through app and they told us it went to the wrong store and they couldn't call store it was ordered at to cancel it and just remake ONE macaroni and cheese for my daughter at the wawa we were already standing in. NEVER AGAIN. The only reason I'm leaving two stars and not one is because of how courteous the gentleman was and accommodating after he saw my frustration. read more

Worst employees ever. Apparently not knowing how the deli works is a crime and I deeply offended an employee. I left, drove home and proceeded to call the store to talk rationally to the manager about how appalled I was by the way I was spoken to. The manager then proceeded to yell at me on the phone because I didn't have a name to tell him exactly who was rude to me. After explaining that one option would be addressing all employees on the importance of speaking kindly to customers he sarcastically apologized and hung up on me. Worst experience. My parents live in Seaside Park, NJ, so i always hit up this Wawa when I visit. This one is big, has a good selection of stuff, and is well lit. Typically i'm heading home late at night so I don't want to stop somewhere that is sketchy looking. i usually wind up getting a few gallon jugs of their iced tea (it's the only mass produced iced tea i like, what can i say???), and candy to keep me awake on the drive home. Also stop here alot with Pops on the way to church/errands/etc so we can get coffee and smokes. Best Friend loves the pretzels too :) read more

What can I say? It's a large, gas station Wawa, just as good as the next one. It's somewhat unique because its parking lot swells with people hanging out on weekends, earning it the nickname of "Club Wawa." My only complaint about Wawa in general is its owned by a bunch of puritans. No rolling papers but tons of blunts and cigarettes are OK. It's just as lame as Wal-mart banning CDs because they want to be seen as a company with morals. read more

this complaint pertains to the corporate entity, which had promoted to me and my company, thier gasoline card for purchases, with money back. sounded good until i got my first bill. it showed a setup fee (not discussed) and a monthly card charge per card, and no discount for the pruchases. i called, paid the pruchases seeking to cancel the card and terminate with no obligations. each month i have gotten a set up cahrge and monthly card fee and now they are seeking late fees. having been told months ago, having not used the card, it still is not terminated without fees despite assurances. please do not get scammed. they seek monthly fees an dto gouge for late fees whre they can. again, i paid in full all the pruchases and sought to cancel and terminate, but only now, today was assured again that it is without further cosrt or penatly. l;ets see what happens next month. be aware!!!! its a shame, before this scam i had used them a lot. barry read more

I love this Wawa. On average, I'd say I stop in 5 days a week. The staff is great, unfortunately the customers are not. Within the past year I've seen 3 shoplifters, I've had 2 people ask me for money in the parking lot, and I've witnessed police rush into the bathroom to Narcan some dumb kid. But don't let these stupid things deter you from going because Wawa is the most convenient convenience store. read more
