The absolute best frozen drinks! Comparable to Starbucks! I got the fudge latte and it was inexpensive and delicious. For milk modifications they had whole, 2% sugar free cream and oakmilk. Wish they had skim milk as well as almond milk and then it would be just as similar to Starbucks!

Dirty. There is trash all over the parking lot, fuel pump area and store floor. Almost looks like a landfill, it's concerning.

Best soup sandwich combo ever. Thank you to those who work so hard to keep us going. 38th and 34 th st.petersburg has the greatest crew.

Wawa has finally made it's way to St. Pete! This Wawa is a little slow since they are still learning the ropes, but I expect it will pick up speed soon enough. Like any Wawa, I love all of the benefits that they have and other gas stations do not: 1. Free Air 2. 24 hour self-order sandwich / soup / sides/ milkshake/ smoothie stations 3. Lots of staff all willing to help 4. coupons here and there in the newspaper & sales in stores They also normally have the cheapest gas in the area. Some of my favorite things to order here include: - chicken & dumplings (side) - turkey and ham club sandwich - baked potato soup - oatmeal with cranberry/ raisin mixture - breakfast sub with eggs and sausage and roasted red peppers - breakfast burritos (warning: this are small, you may want to order multiples) - iced vanilla chai They also have "Sizzli" sandwiches in the hot area during breakfast that are good. My favorite is the sausage croissant. Basically, I adore Wawa and visit often. I am happy that there is now this location too!

I like this gas station it has the basics that you need if you are on the road. Bit disappointed on the sandwiches the make I was shy to let him know about and when I said something an attitude was given to me. I understand that hundreds pass by daily however patience would be appreciated by us the customers especially the first timers. Place is clean, fruits and salads looked very fresh. Coffee was good.

Breakfast bowl from Wawa and strong above average coffee.

The burger was juicy with perfectly crispy edges, and the loaded fries were packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. The first time we were so excited to go and try what looked like they would be out of this world smash burgers... MANNNNNNNNNN they did not disappoint! Hence why we've returned time and time again. The burgers are so perfectly smashed, they're bigger than the bun so you get all that extra crunchy goodness around the edges. The flavor of the sauce is amazing and compliments perfectly. Not only that, but they have great fries! I always get the loaded fries which come with their caramelized onions and cheese sauce. Cue the droolingggg. It's hit or miss if there is going to be a long line but somehow my wife and I have always gotten lucky to get there juuust before everyone else. Service is always very friendly and efficient. As for ambiance, they can't really account for that since they are a food truck but Common Dialect has plenty of seating if you want to stay, have a beer, and eat your food. Now, I cannot wait to try their tacos! Fingers crossed they make it to Tampa sometime soon!

The Chicago dog was good and definitely wasn't lacking in toppings--was loaded up and had plenty of flavor. Tater tots came out nice and crispy. One thing that really surprised me was the coleslaw. It had mandarin oranges mixed in, which was a unique twist compared to most of the coleslaws I've had before. Definitely something different. Staff was very friendly and attentive throughout my visit, and the bathroom appeared clean and well-maintained. The restaurant itself has a pretty cool atmosphere, especially knowing the building used to be a mechanic's garage. It gives the place a unique character that you don't find in every restaurant. Overall, a good lunch experience with friendly service, good food, and a unique atmosphere. Will definitely stop by again!

All of the ingredients were fresh and the bun for the burger and chicken sandwich was surprisingly soft, chewy and held together well. Out of everything we ordered (dry rub wings were great, v9 burger was fair, jerk chicken sandwich good, cookie was good, tots were okay, onion rings meh) the Mac and cheese wouldn't be on the reorder. The pasta was cooked well but it lacked any flavor and was so dry with no apparent addition of cheese to the dish.

Our server, Briana (with the most beautiful blue hair) was the best! Really glad we decided to pop over for a quick bite. Super yummy! The dining area was spacious and kind of reminded me of like a McDonalds or Wendy's of the 90s minus the ball pit. It was great, overall, for what it is, this is a good bite!

Another lunch suggestion from my Wing Man Gary (Why do I call him my Wing Man? Gary is USAF…read moreretired). We've both heard good things about Culver's burgers, so we had to try them. Plenty of handicap parking right outside the door. As soon as we entered we were greeted and told to sit anywhere. Culver's is a cut above your regular fast food restaurant. Yes, you order at the counter, but they give you a numbered marker and deliver the food to your table. FAST. I ordered the Make Your Own Butter Burger. Double patty, onions, pickles, lettuce, mustard, bacon ($1.50), mushrooms ($1.50), and Swiss cheese. It's the same as the mushroom burger with bacon added, but if you add it all up, it's slightly less expensive to build your own. Add medium fries and a medium soft drink, total was $15.50. The burger was tasty, above and beyond what you would get at a nationwide fast food place. You know you have a packed burger when The toasted bun can't contain all the ingredients. The fries were perfect: nicely browned, crisp, and lightly salted. Pretty good meal for the price.

Alright y'all, here we go with another episode of Just How Food Goes!…read more This stop brought me to Black Cattle Burger Co. at 17 3rd St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701, and I was excited to see what all the hype was about. The staff was incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in. Since it was my first visit, they took the time to explain the menu and recommend some of their favorites. After hearing about it, I decided to try The Black Pearl burger with a side of fries. The Black Pearl is perfect if you enjoy mushrooms on your burger. Every bite was juicy, flavorful, and satisfying without being overly heavy. The combination of flavors worked really well together, and I can definitely see why it's one of their signature burgers. The fries were thick, hot, and paired nicely with the meal. The restaurant itself was clean, had a great atmosphere, and made for a fun late-night stop. While I really enjoyed my meal, it didn't quite reach that unforgettable level that earns a 9 or 10 from me. It was a solid burger, great customer service, and an enjoyable experience overall. Overall Rating: 7/10. Would I come back? Absolutely. There's still plenty on the menu I'd like to try, and I always believe every restaurant deserves more than one visit. That's Just How Life Goes... and of course, Just How Food Goes.

Food 3. Ambiance 4. Service 5…read more While looking for a family setting near my sons job I stumbled upon Po' Folks and that is where the family met for a little together time. A stand alone building, one cornerstone of a shopping plaza, there is plenty of parking, plenty of space inside to eat and a Cracker Barrel type of ambiance. We had a comfortable and relaxing visit in a no-rush place where family caught up on all the latest. Service was attentive and friendly with a group of servers eager to help. I won't get specific with food other than their fried chicken is ok and the fried shrimp was what you expect from the freezer section at the grocery. The kids enjoyed the tenders and fries. Po' Folks provided the family setting we needed. Americana food that scratched an itch but nothing impressive in a culinary sense. I grew up with food like this and we called it putting the feed bag on. As a kid I loved it, now my palate wants more.

Many years ago, when we lived in Atlanta Georgia my family had an absolute favourite spot to dine…read more That place was called Po Folks. It had family style meals on long tables that felt like you joined multiple families at a big feast. We were giant fans of their fried chicken and their hush puppies. Unfortunately, like so many restaurants Po Folks closed their doors forever and our favourite dining place became only a memory. That was until we visited my sister in Saint Petersburg, Florida. While looking for a local restaurant, lo and behold, we found a Po folks! Upon further investigation we found that there are five Po Folks restaurants still in existence and except for the Saint Petersburg location all are in northern Florida. With our expectations off the chart, understanding that memories are often better than the actual events, we visited the Saint Petersburg's Po Folks Restaurant. Although the decor was somewhat different (not as large and the old white and blue chequered design is now red and white), we're happy to report that the food was just as good. The Service: Our server was delightful and happy to hear about our previous experience. She made sure our new experience was just as delightful with our glasses always full and our every request fulfilled in a timely manner. The ambiance.: Po folks is set up to feel like a family dining picnic. Designed to feel like a family dining picnic, it's feel is quite a change from the typical Metro Restaurant experience. The design matches the type of 'cookin' and friendly service to a tee. The food: How we initially found the Saint Petersburg Po Folks came about by a challenge we have faced since our move to Florida and that is finding a well-made whole catfish. In Texas there were many restaurants that offered whole (not filets) catfish to choose from. Not in Florida where we have not found a single restaurant that offers whole catfish. But lo and behold, Po Folks came up when we made our "whole catfish" search. Although not quite as large a catfish as what we are used to in Texas, the catfish was delightfully moist and flaky and easily came off the bone. The fried chicken and fried okra were just as fantastic as we remembered and the hush puppies were moist and a bit sweet, just as we love them. We also tried their lemonade which was well balanced (not too tart or too sweet.). We're sad that there is no Po Folks down in the south Florida area but as my sister said "we'll now be seeing a lot more of you, just be sure to stop in and visit with us along with your visit to Po folks."
