I have never been to a Wawa before. We drive a diesel and tow an Airstream, so a well laid out fuel stop is important to us. We had heard Wawa had decent food, so we decided to eat there as well. I am not a fan of gas station food, but my panini was better than the one I had at Panera last week. Everything was clean and the staff were polite. So many gas pumps, so many treats. I love the hugeness of this place. I never have to wait for a pump, and I can always find a new snack inside. I've never seen an item out of stock here, and the store is usually clean. Apparently these guys started as a sandwich shop, not a gas station. Could just be a rumor, but their sandwiches are pretty good. And I *LOVE* the ordering system. You peck your order into a touchscreen device, picking exactly what you want and don't want in your sandwich. They couldn't make it easier, fairer, or more accurate, honestly. Another huge plus is the fruit salad combos they have, always fresh, always a nice selection of fruits, and not too pricey either. They have ice for the freezer and air for the tires... This location is hit or miss. They frequently add something didn't want or forget to add something I did on sandwiches. The other major issue is the lack of open gas pumps. Idiots are getting a few gallons and then leaving their cars parked at the pumps. There is plenty of parking all around the store. Move your F'ing car before you go in and order a sandwich. This has forced me to use this location only as a take out breakfast place. Get fuel somewhere else. read more

Ok after patronizing all of the Wawa's in the the Tampa area I still think the location on Gandy Blvd is the best so far. I would vote this location #2 and the one on 34th Street in Pinellas Park. Yea I got too much time on my hands.. read more

Well-priced gas, plenty of pumps so waiting isn't a problem and a large shop attached for snack and sundry needs. No complaints!

Mostly go here for gas and pumping air in my tires and haven't had any issues with either. Don't really go into the restaurant much so can't say much about that but the place overall is pretty clean! read more

I am loving this new gas chain. The pumps have wider spaces in between the pumps, cheap gas and a larger lot to maneuver around in. The inside is clean they have plenty of the usual gas convenience mart items plus a sandwich shop a really goood sandwich shop. You can order a sandwich online or in the store (both ways work pretty much the same). I liked their sandwiches decent price and good taste. Try them out chances are you will be back. read more

Gas Prices are better here than off causeway. Worth the extra trip. Very clean, and fresh food. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are amazing. Looking to go back for a sub sandwich soon. They have Kerr's chips including the old bay seasoning ones!!! Wish it was on my way to work in the morning because I could use their delicious coffee. read more

Not 100% sold on this place! Gas is cheaper than others (not sure if that will last), the shakes/smoothies are creamy & good, the cheddar stuffed pretzel was unbelievable, & the sub I had tonight was good. It was probably much better when it was actually still warm! I'll try it again I'm sure, if only for the convenience factor! I just don't get all the hoopla about it! read more

Looks nice on the outside, but its pretty dirty on the inside. I've heard good things about the friendly staff and clean environment at other Wawa's stores, but this one doesn't live up to the hype. The floors are dirty and the fountain drink counter look like a tornado came through. The staff is pretty rude too. I was waiting in line fill up my soda when an employee jumped in front of me to refill her drink, then she turned around and gave me a dirty look. I hope it's just grand opening jitters and they fix the issues with there staff over the next few weeks. The hoagies were pretty good as well as the mint frozen drink. I like the ordering process in the touch screens. That system works pretty flawlessly from the customers perspective. read more

Love Wawa! I'm from up north amd loved wawa there so i am so happy it finally made its way to FL. This location can be SOO busy at certain times and not so busy at other times... if you catch it when its busy, you may be there for a while especially if you are waiting for a sandwich or another mad- t- order item. However... in my opinion its worth the wait. Hopefully the "newbies" are getting the hang of this now and will be able to work faster! They have a huge selection of delicious sandwiches which can be made just about any way you want it. Soups, macaroni and cheese, stuffed pretzels, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, lattes, and coffees are just some examples of all their delicious offerings! I recommend to anyone to give it a try! Wawa has a great selection on all types of drinks from hot to cold! Have tried their fresh made sandwiches using an easy to order kiosk and have to say I prefer that than having to verbally give my order. Their staff is friendly and professional a majority of the time I visit. read more

We went in expecting to buy lottery tickets. The secondary cashier opened a second register since the line was so long, and directed that non-tobacco customers could come to that register. We went to that register and asked for the lottery tickets, that was met with a resounding "I said no tobacco customers" followed by a "we don't sell lottery tickets here" neither of which were in kind tones. Mind you this was yelled to a pregnant customer who had been standing in line. I've heard that WAWA is supposed to be a superior service station, however I have never been treated so rudely at even the shadiest of gas stations. We don't plan on returning. read more

I have patronized Wawa's for 30 plus yrs being transferred to Fl from mid Atlantic states. I, like many others were excited to hear Wawa was coming to FL. My experience have not been great. I have visited 6 Wawa's in fl and the results are mixed. Once the northern help left, after the openings, the quality of sandwiches and services has declined. The Fowler store is the worst followed by Bloomingdale store. The fresh pretzels taste like a science experiment gone wrong. The employees making sandwiches cannot read or follow the directions of ingredients. Management doesn't care or can't fix the issues at the Fl staffed stores. I still visit the northern stores and have a much better experience when I do. read more

This location is close to my house and I visit often. Every time I go there is a woman at the register, with short blonde hair and a bubbly personality, and she always makes my days better. She always has a smile on her face, is always making conversation and is always positive. I've even seen some not so friendly customers interact with her that end up leaving with a smile on their face. She is the epitome of customer service and I can tell that she is also a wonderful person. I always look forward to seeing her when I visit and she is the reason why I keep coming back. She goes above and beyond at her job and I hope she gets the recognition that she deserves. Thank you! read more

Very clean and cheapest gas around. Free air for ur tires. Donuts, sandwiches, and drinks are all good. Plus, they are open all night. I do get annoyed when people approach in the parking lot begging for money. How it was just a fluke. read more
