For a gas station I probably could say easily it would be five stars but I have to give it 4 because I also get coffee and other items like sandwiches, snacks, cold drinks etc. I like to use the self-directed touchscreens so that you can customize everything from a hot drink to a sandwich and then some if you're in the mood for the occasional soup or chicken fingers. On the gas station side of things I like that there are plenty of bays/pumps that are shielded from the rain and the sun. Most in Florida have pumps that are and have those clips so you don't have to hold the nozzle handle the whole time while your fueling. Also, if you need the air it free here, no coins or timer for when I need to adjust my tires. Another bonus if you're traveling they're open 24 hours, have nice restrooms with changing tables and there's FREE Wi-Fi. Some locations also allow for their app and ordering ahead so when you place a pick up order as soon as you pull into their parking lot it picks up that you have arrived and starts the order for you so all you have to do is go to the counter to pay for it. read more

As far as Wawa locations go, this one is a strong 4 star. Lines inside are generally not long and staff is generally pretty friendly. I love the touch screen ordering and how it totals up the calories of the things you are ordering. Makes it easier to make better decisions. Their grab and go options as far as sandwiches and snacks are top notch. Being able to choose a variety of fruits and veggies and healthier wraps is imperative when needing a quick bite on the go. Or if you're wanting to splurge, there are plenty of options to be able to do that as well! Donuts, pretzels, and gluttonous snacks galore. Wawa also offers free air, which I took advantage of the other day. It's always great to know you can do that at any Wawa when your tire pressure may be getting low. This location never has the pretzels in stock. Their cashiers always every day by 11AM will claim that a customer came in and purchased all the pretzel inventory for the day and they wouldn't have more until the next day. But time does not seem to matter, having gone in at all hours of the morning, day, and night, and never any pretzels for the last 2+ weeks. I feel like this is a major management failure to consider the demand for the product and failing to appropriately handle inventory management and would strongly urge a continued education course be offered to the management team so that they can learn how to properly manage a business without constantly being out of stock of items. read more

I was not pleased this morning when I decided to get my "Free coffee." As a Secretary of Hillsborough County Public schools Wawa is advertising that they are giving a free beverage for ''All HCPS Staff'' during the month of August. I showed my badge to the lady, and she asked if I am a teacher, I said no I'm a secretary. The man that was running the register next to her said '' how that's frowned Apon in this establishment. I am not sure what this is supposed to mean. I do not think that this is appropriate or acceptable, comments should not be made Infront of customers. I won't be back to this location. And just to set the record straight if you're going to give free coffee to a company it should be for all employees not a select department. Never a problem at this Wawa. The outside is clean, inside is clean, and staff are friendly. I love the no-fee ATM and have never experienced a long wait to use it. There's only ever been one person in front of me. The inside can get a little crowded due to the layout of the store. Every time I go inside, I have to squeeze around someone or ask them politely to move. The snack aisles are a bit awkward and short as well. I haven't ordered food here, but people I've gone with have enjoyed their orders. One time it took forever to get our order, but there were quite a few people waiting. I ordered a latte and didn't like it at all, which means I definitely will never order one again. There are so many choices for coffee around. I can't settle on less than great. Still, Wawa is a great place to get gas. It competes with the Thornton's across the street and is always within one cent of the price per gallon. read more

I Went ordered a roast beef sandwich the roast beef look questionable. They put new roast beef on the sub was old and very short for a foot-long. The gentleman working in the middle of the station had a beard net and a cloth mask not surgical not really serving any purpose and making sandwiches. I asked the employee that was finishing the sandwich working with him why he was wearing a mask. She said she doesn't know then I'am under the impression he was wearing that because he was ill because I'am a Serve Safe Certified manager, with 35 years experience in the food industry, it sure looks bad when people are wearing masks. You are sending the message that they're ill and they really shouldn't be behind that sandwich line. I tried to inform corporate they purposely put you on hold forever. I used to think that was in alternative to Publix not so any more. If you want to compete with the big boys, i.e. Publix, the sandwich should be the same length and the same amount ingredients the sandwich maybe was eight or 9 inches long and they call it a foot-long. I have been going to this WAWA since it opened and without a doubt she is the by far the best WAWA employees I have ever come in contact with. Always a smile on her face and she works hard. I came in the other day and she was manning the cash register and then had to close it down and come over and work the smoothie area. She is well deserving of a promotion and pay raise as her work ethics are above reproach. I love this wawa! Stopped by to pick up sandwiches tonight around 10:30pm and the person at the sandwich counter was fantastic. After I had punched in my order for a buffalo chicken sandwich I asked him to change my request to having the whole thing toasted rather than just the bread. He advised me that I could do that but the chicken might dry out. I took his advice happily. He then took the liberty of asking me if I'd like heavy or light sauce and jalapeños. He didn't have to go out of his way to mention it, but I really appreciated that. Excellent customer service, a very clean store, well stocked and even pleasant bathrooms! Wawa is a much nicer gas station than the average. They carry a variety of sandwiches (breakfast & lunch), and many different types of iced & hot beverages. I didn't care for the amount of time it took for me to get my iced latte. I went on a Sunday morning around 10:30am, and it was packed. They only had 2 baristas making drinks, and it took about 15 - 20 minutes just to get my coffee. Unfortunately because of this, I probably won't be getting coffee from here anytime soon. It's been opened less than a week and it's a beautiful location. I'll give them the benefit of "new" and they are training new people, so I stayed in line for a while when the cashier was trying to figure the register out. I guess they saw a review about cleanliness because when I was there that store looked like a Clorox commercial! it looked, and felt clean. I like that their beer is in a separate room and not next to the Nesquick. There was a little bit of commotion because they have complimentary coffee as part of their grand opening week, so I understand it's not normal times. They have free air (for your tires)! Wawa is the bees knees. How can you not like a place that has touch screen smoothie ordering? Furthermore, their sandwiches are not too shabby and the employees are friendly enough. The store has a wide variety of sundries and their fuel is competitively priced. My only qualm with Wawa is their lack of outdoor seating. Always busy. Coffee is good and for me to say that takes a lot. I'm a Starbucks junkie and don't care for others. I don't get lattes here but grabbing a cup of fresh brewed coffee on the run from time to time is how I roll, lol. Now for the food, it's not bad, but it's not amazing. The quesadillas are usually good though. I don't care for their subs and their meatball subs are not awesome. Staff is usually nice, no complaints there. Wawa is popping up everywhere here. I'm ok with this because they hire more staff than other gas stations so in return, they provide more employment for the area so 2 thumbs up. I decided to try out this so called amazing place everyone talked about before I set for my long trip back home. First off the gas isn't cheap here, it isn't over priced but it's on the higher end. So if you are looking for good gas prices look else where. Going inside I was thoroughly suprised! For a gas station this place was on some other LEVEL. Like I felt like I was at a mall food court / grocery store/ gas station. It was fantastic!!! I needed to grab some coffee for the road and my gosh the coffee station BLEW MY MIND. How creative and with such variety their coffee station was! So many different brews to pick from and they had a cool station to fix it up how ever you like! What I appreciated the most was the different creamers and milk types they had! THEY HAD THAT GOOD MILK, haha! Also for people who are lactose intolerant they provided alternative options which were great like almond milk! For toppings they had different flavored powders and they didn't taste cheap like a lot of other places. Their chocolate powder was Devine! SUCH GREAT COFFEE!! I recommend the Cuban roast for sure!! On top of that I noticed they were making sandwiches for people where u can order from a kiosk and also get smoothies where they customize it! Great place to make a pit stop for sure!! read more

I have never been to a Wawa before. We drive a diesel and tow an Airstream, so a well laid out fuel stop is important to us. We had heard Wawa had decent food, so we decided to eat there as well.
