    Gobbler!
    Jenn V.

Mmm, Wawa. Every convenience store should be replaced with a Wawa. I moved from NJ to Baltimore, back in 2001 and there was ONE Wawa and it was 45 minutes from where I lived. Tragic. I literally drove there every November to get a Gobbler. Now, that's dedication. You can take the girl outta Jersey.... Anyway, this location is OK. Kinda seemed a bit messy the few times I've been here. I stopped in for a sandwich. There is a screen where you can order sandwiches to go. I don't think they use Boars Head, which I prefer , but the lunch meat is still good. I love the fried ravioli, mozzarella sticks and sweet cream cheese pretzels that they have up at the front counter. Those cream cheese pretzels are SO good. I think I'm going to head there now actually to go get one! Do yourself a favor and try one. I also like all of the different items they have. Little containers of hummus with pretzels. Prepared deli salads. Little fruit salads. Let's not forget fresh donuts. What's not to love about Wawa?! Not to mention you can gas at this location and it's usually the cheapest for that area.

The food is outstanding and the people are very friendly and extremely welcoming. My "go-to" dish is the chicken and rice platter with salad. They have a wide variety of sauces and they always ask if you need more. And, yes, the platters are enormous. It is literally impossible to walk out of this place feeling hungry. The Halal Spot also has lamb, falafel, butter chicken and wide variety of other dishes. So if you are looking for a place that serves outstanding food, enormous portions that is reasonably priced. I ordered the paneer platter and it was ok. I feel there was more rice than the paneer given. I wish there was a spice level option as well because I like spicy food. The web page pictures are misleading because for one the Makhni in the picture is more of a yellow curry base, whereas what I got was more of a red-orange (more so the color shown in the tikka masala image). My friend ordered the butter chicken and it was the same deal with the color, but I also have never had either dish before with a more yellow curry base so lol I just wanted to say it's inconsistent. We also ordered the Heavenly Hummus to share. Hummus was good, pita was good, but whatever was spread on top of the pita to make it a "garlic bread" was very strange tasting. We didn't particularly enjoy that portion of the pita.

I've never been to Honeygrow and as a genuine food reviewer wanted to try it.. the place looked very interesting and the inside was really good.. easy to order with their digital menu and the service was good.. pricing was average, not too high and not too low kind of a pricing.. ambience was good Ordered garlic bread.. they give a couple of pieces of bread with an interesting sauce and it tasted good... It was very different from any other garlic breads that I had. Also ordered a vegetarian stirfry noodle... initially I thought the quantity was less looking at the packing, but when I unboxed it at home, it was sumptuous.. veg stirfry was really good and stomach full.. I also ordered butter chicken stirfry noodle.. to be Frank. I just saw 1-2 pieces of chicken. I was so disappointed... taste was almost similar to the vegetarian stirfry noodle.. I really did not get any additional chicken curry taste.. Want to give a 3 star but gave it a 4 star for their vegetarian stirfry and the service.

It's been years since I've reviewed this McDonald's location formally, but I'm here with assuring…read morenews that this McDonald's, ever since they've pridefully publicised the name and "direct" contacts of the franchisee, has kept up with higher-than-average standards of operating a McD's for the customer satisfaction. How do I determine how it's higher-than-standard that can earn this location a 4 rating? Because McDonald's is everywhere, you want to focus on the things that matter most in weeding out the bad ones from the good - those things are as follows: ORDER ACCURACY: For the past 6 months from writing, the only issue I have had that did not contribute to the loss of one out of five stars in the rating is the sauce for the McNuggets - often and likewise with many other locations, Honey Mustard is confused for Honey packets. With that in mind, this location has done so much better in reducing that mistake, so I give major kudos to them for that. Aside from sauces, the occasional miss of a value-added special instruction (such as adding extra ingredient, condiment, etc.) would be addressed professionally, whether you filled out the survey on the receipt or brought it up to the restaurant's attention. FOOD QUALITY: The problem almost all McDonald's has is making sure everything comes out hot, fresh (and just for you, the customer.) This especially matters more during the late dinner hours (within 3 hours prior to scheduled closing.) Thankfully, in the daytime, you've got a good chance (more than 50%) that your fries and y our McNuggets will come out fresh, crispy and tasty. Burgers and other sandwiches follow a high standard and come out excellent every time. SERVICE: That being said, last mentioning burgers, it appears that, despite it being a fast-food ℎ , the burgers take more time than ever and primarily-drive-thru customers, like myself, tend to get "parked" without being told exactly why. The good thing is that it doesn't seem like the pandemic slowed this McD's down! On a miscellaneous note, it appears the restaurant is PG-13 as you can hear some choice words throughout the kitchen and the registers in the afternoon and evening - this is for the ones who prefer a "Rated E for Everyone" experience for the sake of their family... or themselves. To the Marinello Family McDonald's Restaurants / Marin Management, thank you for taking on the challenges of being a McDonald's situated conveniently near one of the Northeastern U.S.'s most travelled U.S. Highways and keep doing well what you're doing!

Unfortunately, our family can no longer justify coming here. I know that the restaurant industry can be tough these days with increasing costs, labor shortages, and the lot. I understand it. The problems started a few years ago after the pandemic. Unfortunately, as many places have continued to do, businesses like Rosalita's are now passing along their business expenses to their customers -- namely the 3-4% credit card fees that businesses used to build into their pricing. What was initially a survival goal to stay afloat during the pandemic because every penny mattered is now just our way of life because it's easier. I hate it. Fine... we started bringing cash. Next, the quality of the food started taking a dive. My usual go to burrito was not as flavorful, rushed, and prices increased significantly. Rice was mush and hard to muster texturally. Drink cups are hilariously smaller (to be fair, they were hilariously large before... but we never needed a refill...) But the one thing Rosalita's had that we could always count on was awesome chips and salsa. The chips are still great -- but the first thing we noticed on their even more pricey, revamped menu was... a fee for any additional chips. Seriously guys? Maybe you're losing money on chips, but let's think about this for a second. The average customer gets their food so fast, how many chips are they actually going through? It's a huge draw to your restaurant and now you're punishing every table. If I'm alone, I get 1 basket of chips. If I have a family of four, we get ... wait for it... ONE basket of chips for the table. Especially when you've got kids, the chips are the draw and now the parents get none because the kids pound down the basket before we can even place an order and I absolutely refuse to pay an extra fee that could buy me an entire BAG of chips at the grocery store. It's highway robbery, greed, and unfortunately we just can't justify coming to this restaurant due to all the price increases, and micro-transaction fees on top over just the last few years with this sudden shift of moving away from a family friendly, fun vibe, with great service and great food. I'm really sad about it guys. Truly. But there are other restaurants very close by that aren't punishing their customers and I'd rather spend my hard earned dollars there instead I'm afraid.

She and her husband are regulars, and on occasion, they even join in on Bingo nights there. We decided to grab a meal before the painting program. Brilliant marketing strategy on Chick-fil-A's part, I must say, because it absolutely worked on me. Walking in as a first-timer, I was studying the menu when the manager noticed and came right over to help. I mentioned I didn't have much of an appetite, and he guided me toward the nugget meal; a smart suggestion, since it came with a choice of drink and waffle fries at a very reasonable price. Helpful, attentive, and not pushy. A great first impression. Here is my rating for the meal: ~ Chicken Nuggets ~ 4/5 stars A small mix-up on my end: I accidentally ordered the classic nuggets instead of the grilled variety. I'd seen the photo but missed that all-important word, "grilled." Entirely my fault -- and honestly, no complaints. They were freshly made and wonderfully crispy. The manager also noticed I was unfamiliar with the sauces and asked whether I preferred spicy or sweet, then generously sent me off with Zesty Buffalo, Sweet Sriracha, and a ranch to play it safe. A thoughtful touch. ~ Waffle Fries ~ 5/5 stars These were the standout dishes of the meal. Generously sized, with a slight crispness on the outside that gives way to a soft, fluffy interior. No condiments needed -- they're perfect on their own. I highly recommend it. ~ Strawberry Hibiscus Lemonade ~ 4.5/5 stars Balanced, refreshing, and thirst-quenching. The citrus is front and center, with a pleasant sweetness that doesn't overwhelm. A refill was happily offered -- and happily accepted. ~ Strawberry Hibiscus Sunjoy ~ 5/5 stars My friend recommended it, and she was absolutely right. This one blends their classic lemonade with freshly brewed sweetened iced tea, landing somewhere between tart and floral and lighter on the sweetness than the lemonade, and a touch more nuanced. It's my new favorite. Don't skip it. The staff throughout the evening were attentive and genuinely warm, keeping the dining area clean and tidy without missing a beat. One curious observation: there's a basket near the counter where unused condiments, dipping sauces, and children's meal prizes are collected, sanitized, and offered to the next guest. All in all, a wonderful first visit. Good food, great company, and a charming painting event to round out the evening. I'll be back, and next time I'll remember to say "grilled."
