I would give ZERO stars for the pharmacy. If I didn't have an insurance change, I would've stuck with CVS down the street, where the pharmacist even sings you happy birthday on your birthday, & know you're a valued customer & patient. This place, however is SO SLOW! Expect to wait ALL DAY to get a prescription filled. I don't know what they're all doing back there?! There can be 4-5 people & even after waiting 3 hours for an electronic sent prescription, I go in and ask if it's ready, to only sit here waiting for another 2 hours!!! Tempted to just pay out of pocket to go back to CVS. The store is nice though, nicely stocked, but a bit overpriced. Expect to pay extra just to get discounts, so not really worth it. CVS has better deals. read more

Went for a COVID booster today after making an appointment. They didn't have the medication ready, and I waited over an hour to get the shot. This was even after the very nice tech acknowledged that she would try and get me out ASAP because I am immunocompromised. To date, this is the longest I've waited for any shot- and that includes the first one I got from the army at the convention center. Ridiculous. read more

So I was just driving around English town, on my way to a Bachelor Party. All of a sudden my stomach starts to rumble. I also needed to pick up a gift card for my friend, who was the Bachelor. Anyways, I stopped into this store and I picked up a gift card and ran into the bathroom. Now when I tell you how utterly DISGUSTING this bathroom was, I am not exaggerating. First of all the sheer stench alone emitting from this bathroom was enough to kill 4 people. (Plus, it actually, no lie, looked liked the backrooms.) So I walked into this bathroom expecting to pass out. But thankfully I didn't. As if I did, I would have slipped on the green urine on the ground and would have my mouth full of piss. I then glanced at the toilet and all I saw was brown. Everything the toilet was drenched in excretion and feces. The aura this toilet was emitting was enough to make the weird kid who would do anything for 20$ turn away. The only good thing was that the cashiers were nice. (Although one of them looked at me like I had barged 6 times which was halfway true.) In the end I Ended up holding it and using the bathroom on the side of the road. Thanks Walgreens. read more

Their refrigerators haven't worked in about half a year now. Can't get a cold drink when I'm in there. Management doesn't seem to care.

The absolute worst customer service at the pharmacy desk, whether you have to wait one hour on the phone or then saying medication is ready or having Covid test. Jennifer the manager and Jim have no idea to run a business and can tell they like to show power when there jobs are to help and assist people. I will never go there and highly recommended using another Walgreens and will be filing a complaint. Whether it's drive through or long lines they will have 5 people back there with one person assisting. Terrible service terrible people. read more

Relatively new store. It's very large and spacious! Just like Wal-Mart is to target, cvs is to Walgreens. I think it's targeting different clientele. It's more expensive, the sales aren't as good. This store is well lit and well stocked. They have everything you'd expect from your local pharmacy store. I've shopped here a few times. You shouldn't come here just to buy what you need at the moment without checking the sales. Otherwise you'll spend more than you have to. Walgreens has weekly and monthly sales. They have a reward card. Match what you need with the sale items from their circular before coming. They accept all manufacturer coupons. The customer traffic here is not heavy, so there won't be long lines, and you will find the sale item you need in stock. You can probably score some good post holiday item deals. I haven't used the pharmacy here so I can't comment on it, but usually all pharmacies have similar pricing. They have a photo section to print photos, make CDs, and digitalize old photos. read more

My prescription was sent to this Walgreens around 2 in the afternoon. Around 8:00 I saw that the prescription wasn't filled and still pending. I call the store and was placed on hold. I waited over 12 min then I was just hanged up on. So I decided to call and drive just to be told that it wasn't worked and that they were closing. I don't understand the level of unprofessionalism to be rudely be placed on hold and just for them to hang up on me. I am taking my bussiness to CVS here my questions are answered and treated with respect. TAKE YOU BUSSINESS ELSE WHERE... the frustration isn't worth it. I honestly would rate 0 stars if I could. If your understaffed then hire... you're playing with the livelihood of people that need their medication on time. read more

The pharmacy department is understaffed. I waited for 20 minutes again today to pick up my prescriptions. There was only one person in front of me on line. It is a newer, large store with higher prices on many of their items compared to local CVS and Rite aid stores. The staff is usually friendly. The pharmacy techs try to work with the customers to save them money on their prescriptions. Unfortunately, it's at a time when there is a long line and only one cashier. read more

I feel about Walgreens the same way I feel about Wawa. All pharmacies should be replaced with Walgreens. Definitely a step above any Rite Aid or CVS. I think the product selection is just better. More pricey as well, but I feel it's so much more than a Pharmacy. Maybe that's because their selection of Holiday items are always nicer!!! Yes, I go to a pharmacy to buy Halloween decorations. Usually stores where you wouldn't expect to find certain items, offer the most unique selection. Can't say I've ever filled a prescription here, but for anything else, I prefer these stores over the competing chains. read more

Bought a couple of days tablets for high blood pressure from Walgreens at Englishtown, NJ. The supply was supposed to be for three months. Should have been 90 tablets. However, had suspicion and hence counted. Someone had made a mistake in counting and there were 80. They will have to be careful in future. It's not easy to get a refill ahead of time from the insurance companies. read more

I have mixed reviews of the englishtown walgreens. One Pharmacist Jennifer is pretty good and doesn't act like she is doing you a favor. The other Russian female Anna I believe is incredibly lazy and acts like she is doing you a favor by performing her basic job functions. I have been trying my same monthly prescription filled at this location for over 2 years and each month it's a problem. I actually have to go in and tell them how to get insurance billed, it's incredible. read more

I love the store but the pharmacy dept is aweful. They always seem to get things wrong with my coverage. Every time I need a certain medication for my daughter which is every few months they give me a difficult time with my coverage. I call my insurance company and do all the work. The store staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The balance rewards is a good benefit and you save if you download the app and check the coupons first. read more

Went at 7pm on a Sunday night. It wasn't crowded at all. The aisles were clean and I would recommend going here to shop.
