CVS on Gordon's Corner Manalapan have the Best pharmacists. I have used them for over 15 years. When doctors give me any new medication they take the time to make sure I know & understand the potential side affects. Doctors write me a script and seem to have NO time or patience to make sure all meds can be combined. E & Nick have been my LIFE SAVORS! So kind and patient. Of course there are times 1 pharmacist cannot stop everything to get to the next customer. It is a very responsible & difficult job that customers seem to forget. Not to mention how many times they KNOW MORE THAN THE PHYSICIANS! Many times when I go there I need further understanding of my new meds and have to go to the confidential window. I recently visited CVS Pharmacy for the latest COVID vaccination. My husband and I received an email notification about the availability of the vaccine and scheduled our appointments together using the CVS app. Upon arrival, we were surprised that the pharmacist didn't ask for our IDs; she only requested our names and assured us she would be with us shortly. We waited for about 15 minutes, which wasn't too bad. The vaccination process was quick and painless. Our arms are sore, but we haven't experienced any other symptoms. I can't comment on headaches since I frequently suffer from migraines. While waiting, I noticed a MinuteClinic in the area. Another patron mentioned that he initially went to the MinuteClinic for his COVID shot but was directed to register online for the pharmacist to administer it. read more

We have been using this pharmacy for 20 years. I do not understand why it has bad reviews. The Managing Pharmacist, Ehab, is amazing with wonderful communication skills. He and his staff of Dana and Nadia are all warm people, hard workers and very friendly. They always pay special attention to their patients, answer any questions, are super knowledgeable and we never feel rushed out the door, even if there are other people waiting. Staff in whole store always helpful, from when you enter the store until you leave,if you seem to be looking for something, they will ask you if you need help & help you, if they know its in the stock room, they go & dig it out, having problem with coupons, they help & will always let you know if you got additional bucks. The Pharmacy department, Christine as well as everyone in the dept always quick & make sure you understand your prescriptions, no matter how busy they are always pleasant. There is not one employee in that store , that I have ever seen standing around doing nothing, ( including the manager) If anything the store definitely can use more employees. read more

Worse customer service ever. The heavy set blonde woman did not even look up from the computer do not engage, no eye contact, no acknowledgment. She is like a robot and actually asked me if I wanted my med today or tomorrow. I literally needed two pills. The Pharmacist work at this location is the rudest individual I have ever encountered in my life. he filled a prescription that did not covered with my insurance. He did not call me to inform me that. My husband picked up the prescription thinking it went through insurance and it is just expensive while paying for it. Later realized that it was not put through insurance, he went back to ask him if he put through the insurance and that's when he said it was rejected. He never told us up front that this prescription was rejected due to OTC. We paid $200 for something we could have found OTC for $5. Secondly, when I called him, he did not even let me talk, kept on repeating i can't take this prescription back. I said I am not asking you to take back, I know the regulations, but next time please call me and ask me before filling the prescription. He said " why don't you ask your doctor not to prescribe, I have to go sorry". What kind of behavior is this? We all are busy but isn't his duty to provide the patient with such information up front? He definitely did not obey Hippocratic Oath. I am not angry, but just sad and disappointed with terrible service provided to me. OMG I am horrified. I had surgery and went there to fill my prescription for pain killers immediately. I was in severe pain. Told me 1/2 hour but would fill it sooner if possible. 1 hour+ later I was still waiting as the pharmacist took phone calls and discussed with the staff what he was planning for dinner. My son kept asking why so long and they said only pharmacist can fill s pain killerMy son finally blew up as i sat there in tears & demanded he fill it. Pharmacist answered, I'm counting it now my man, with a chuckle. Staff just laughed! Took one right at the counter and pain was eased within 15 minutes. Imagine if i didn't have to wait!!! Shame on CVS 120 Woodward Rd Englishtown, NJ 07726 I picked up 90 day prescription 2-5-18 Took home open counted only 88 pills called CVS got told I had to contact manufacturer and I had to look up my self to get phone number and I had to call my self to tell Manufacturer the sealed bottle had less than 90 pills. When someone is there to pickup medicines they are themself or their loved one is in pain, mental or physical. Pharmacy staff should sensitive and courteous in their dealings vs being rude. Above all it is also about customer service. Not happy with the pharmacy staff here and will try a different location. read more

Minute Clinic . Update to review below. They reduced our bills to ZERO My husband and I needed flu shots. First we went to Walgreens, I showed them my insurance card and they told me they didn't take it. The we went to CVS minute clinic, I showed the nurse practitioner my insurance card and asked if they accept my insurance for flu shots she said YES. Well a couple weeks later I get a bill. Been trying to call about the bill and have listened to music for a very long time and no help yet. I pay for insurance so why the heck would I want to pay for something my insurance covers. IF she had told me she didn't know if my insurance covered my shot and that she would have to submit it, I would have said NO THANKS and called my insurance company to find a place to get my shot. read more

If you want get something or come in and chill off don't because right I biked to the cvs wanting to get one bag of chips and the store was closed and there was a sign saying our register is broken so I waited for three hour maybe even more so they could open the store back so right I came back and they did I come in with my bike and I walk around really carefully and safely so I would not break or damage my bike and the store so I found my things and I was walking to the pre workout things to look at them everything was good but then from nowhere a guy comes up and says to get out of the store with my bike and then I asked can I does buy this and then go he said no so then said was are you kicking me out of the store and screaming at me and being rude when I said that I did nothing he said it's the store policy but I looked and there such I thing and he didn't even care about me or my age so please don't go here it's a shit whole with Karen's read more

This CVS location is not worth the time. The pharmacy keeps replacing people and service is very poor. There are always long wait times. The store also does not seem as clean as it used to be. Try the new Walgreens in Marlboro. read more

If I could give zero stars I would for this location and most CVS locations. The pharmacy is incompetent, rude, and basically the worst I have ever encountered. The prices are so ridiculously high that I started using a mail away pharmacy that doesnt even accept insurance and the cost difference is insane. $55 at CVS versus $2.50 for the mail away and that is with my insurance at CVS. If the prices were the only problem I would use them if I needed to in an emergency but their unwillingness to be helpful and horrible attitudes are unbearable. Not only do they leave you on hold for 20 minutes but then they won't accept insurance information over the phone. Then when you get there they make you wait to process the insurance info. Tried twice to get a flu shot there. Place is very busy. When I finally got to the sales person after standing in line a few minutes, I was told there was a wait. How long? About an hour! There was no one waiting in the area set aside for the minute clinic that I could see. The first time I came I saw the long line and I left. Still long lines at the pharmacy, and this time I left in a huff. Then I thought, "what does a 'minute clinic' really mean? 60 minutes?" I will not go back to this location even though it is close to home. read more
