Maybe it's the fries, maybe it's the late-night convenience, or maybe it's just nostalgia hitting. But a few bites in, my brain is like, "What are we doing? This isn't even good." The Bullseye burger was good according to my lunch buddy and he said he'd come back and dine again. He's a fan of anything with BBQ sauce so I'm not surprised. The Cordon Blue burger was just ok. Nothing special about the burger at all. The fries were just ok, nothing special at all and the Fry sauce didn't help make them taste any better. Burger was auto cooked to Medium plus but I was never asked what temperature I preferred. Maybe I looked like a "medium plus guy" - well they got lucky today! Now a couple of extra things: the pop machine was broken/down, no water options and one of their bathrooms was out of order. The internal/external ambiance is not welcoming or inviting at all. The server who took my order, didn't appear familiar with the menu and was clueless about several of the sandwiches on the menu which was odd and not helpful. I think this place would be benefit from a little sprucing up on the outside and inside, including ensure water is available for purchase and getting their machines and bathrooms working properly. All that said, I'm not sure my experience today would compel me return.

The BLT, despite asking for extra bacon, came with just two strips. Overall, everything was mediocre at best. I appreciate small businesses and want to see them thrive, but between the lack of communication and underwhelming food, it's hard to recommend without some improvements. Got it dressed with LTO, oil and vinegar, and oregano. The roll was softer than I normally like for an Italian but it was very fresh and still held together nicely. I didn't eat half of this til just now (maybe 4 hours later) and it still wasn't a sloppy mess. The Shack Special was Roast beef, Turkey breast, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, and Russian dressing. These communists and their salad dressing...tastes good on everything. Again the meats were super fresh and the same roll for this one. I grabbed both to take a few bites for a video and I packaged this one up for my gf and I kept the Italian. These are both half sandwiches and they're bigger than most full size subs from anywhere. Cost for both of these total was around $16. No brainer here - Sub Shack - Didn't Suck!
