Let's be real, ever since Wawa ditched the deli meat counter for their ever-evolving kitchen, they have added a gazillion breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. It's craziness but each addition is surprisingly decent! Enter the above-average, hot subs. It's okay. Yes, I said sub. Don't blow your wiz, Philly. It's gonna be okay. Tomato, tomahto, sandwich, sub, hoagie, torpedo, grinder, whatevs. Eat it. Like it. My order: Gimme the gobbler. Male it a classic size with hot turkey, gravy, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Serve it in a white bread long roll, don't you dare toast it. Then send it right over to Mama. Always the same satisfying flavors. Also, they are hustling back in the open kitchen. Mistakes happen but it's all about how they are addressed. This evening I had to get an issue with gift cards addressed and GM Andrew handled the situation with PERFECTION....he was kind, efficient, personable and made me know he understood my frustration and addressed it appropriately. Their sliced rye and marbled bread has been stale on two occasions but it can be returned. On one visit, I ordered a sliced bread sandwich and discovered that it was stale and made with a smallest end of the loaf. Returned it only to have the guy say, " oh...I didn't know." Another time, I was peering at some orders on the pick-up counter that were ready for customers when a female" manager" behind the counter grabbed them in a swooping motion toward herself and said, "WHEN ITS ALL PAID FOR! " Also, the parking lot on the far side is dirty with discarded soiled masks and bits of trash. read more

This wawa never has any of the hot stuff out. This includes breakfast sandwiches, stuffed pretzels and the little apps (chicken bites, toasted ravioli, Mozz sticks etc). I was excited upon its opening thinking it would be better than the one on limekiln because that one also never has any hot stuff out but this one is just as bad and it's very disappointing. I could understand them not having them out at night close to closing but I go there in the middle of the day to get the stuffed pretzels and they never have them out. read more

I'm really disappointed that $1 coffee ended. This is my favorite place to come for coffee, gas and food. Today they had just put out fresh coffee when I arrived. I usually get the hazelnut or French vanilla but today I opted for the Cuban roast. It was dark, rich and bold--just the jolt I needed. Food is always great here and this location is very clean. This is the most convenient Wawa for me. The store is clean and the coffee station is always very neat and clean which can be hard since it's one of the main attractions to the store. The only downside to this location is that the parking is limited and sometimes that's why I don't end up going to this location because I don't feel like dealing with the parking lot. Although there is always a lot of people in the store I usually get my food in a timely manor and the staff is always super friendly! read more

I am a Wawa Child. Raised on Wawa hoagies, survived by Wawa Coffee. This is probably the BEST Wawa location you will come across as far as employees. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. If you go to the coffee counter between 7 and 9am you will be greated by Jay, the most pleasant coffee woman in the world! A nice good morning with a smile and a warm cup of coffee can work wonders on a monday morning. The products are standard wawa, the layout is standard wawa, the parking lot is a little tricky, but this is by far my favorite. :) Just wanted to let you all know. read more

First Wawa's I've ever been to. And probably won't be the last. Having moved from LA, I couldn't understand what the big rage was about a "gas station 7-11" from all of the natives in Philly so I decided to try one out that was close during a break in my day. This is my experience with this particular Wawa's. Walked in, and it felt like a somewhat more cozier version of 7-11 with the same overpriced items that you'd find at a typical convenient store. But I didn't go there to buy those items, I went here for the hoagies. Even though the computer ordering was very convenient, easy to navigate through and fast, I do enjoy a short chat with the person that's helping me with my order. Those behind making the sandwiches were very friendly though so that's a good thing. The hoagies, for the price, was a pretty good deal. And it definitely satisfied the hunger pangs that I had going in. All in all, good service with decent subs (for the price). Since it's convenient and close enough, I'll probably be back here to get more sandwiches and such but I definitely can't see myself worshiping Wawa's like the locals. Parking: Small lot read more

I live right between this Wawa and the one in Flourtown. I hate to say it but this Wawa just consistently lets me down. They always seem to be out of either the sizzlie or wrap that I'm looking for. Being that this is the closest Wawa to Arcadia University they really should try to do better. Sure the local students love for Wawa will never change, but they're missing the chance to hook the out of town students who will then crave Wawa when they graduate. It's still a Wawa so it's still great if you're only other Convenience Store options are the 7-11 or Hess in Glenside, but it's just not as good as other Wawa's. read more

This location has always been speedy, clean, friendly and well stocked. One complaint I have is the parking situation, there isn't much to do about it but on a busy day it's not uncommon to have to wait for parking or park on the street. The staf are extra friendly here and in my experience the food has been tasty. Really, I have no complaints aside from the parking situation. read more

I ordered two Italian hoagies one with tomatoes and one with out tomatoes got the order in a timely fashion however I don't know how u don't follow the order as it reads.. I got both hoagies neither one of them where cut in half I didn't know you had to request the hoagies to be cut In half and one of the hoagies didn't have tomatoes as requested .. how hard is it to follow a order and cut the hoagies in half ?? Not a fan of this wawa and prolly won't be ordering sandwiches from there again if one can't fill the Order correctly .. however the hoagies were good as usual just disappointed they weren't how I ordered them or cut in half read more

There are no WaWa's in New York, but when I was in Philadelphia, I found myself surrounded by these funny-sounding gourmet 711s, and usually went to this one. As far as selection concerned, it's pretty much the same as any convenience store, though for some reason I found it so amusing that the store had scrapple. For college students who get up in the middle of the night with an ice cream craving, there seemed to be an almost unlimited amount to choose from. However, for people like me who crave cereal every second of the day, they had a much lesser collection. One thing that I really got a kick out of was the deli counter, in which you customize a sandwich using a touch screen computer. Not only were the sandwiches always made quickly, but I loved the sound the computer made every time I touched it; like what I'd imagine a bubble to sound like if it never popped when poked. The sandwiches I ordered tasted good as well, though I can't remember specifically what I had. More importantly, the deli has many options, so virtually every sandwich combination can be satisfied. read more

Truthfully this is the worst Wawa i have ever gone to. They always screw something in my sandwich up. One time i bit into a chicken salad sandwich and got a mouth full of what felt like a rubber glove. I dont know why im surprised anymore because it seems like an every day occurrence. read more

Just stopped there to but cigarettes and some cookies . The man behind the counter was very rude . I am 32 and it is 3:30 am and he demands Id. I show my id and he wont look at it and tells me to remove it . I replied "really" . His response is I'm doing my fucking job" I comply and then he tells me that he gets off at 7 am if I want to come back so he can fight me. This interaction escalated way beyond what it should of . I should not be threatened by violence by your employees. I didn't even get my cookies for fear of being punch by irate employee. read more
