This was my first-time shopping at Wawa. Lucky me. I always wanted to patronize a Wawa property but it only exists in the East Coast. I was intrigued with the name Wawa. It sounds so cute. According to the corporate website, "Wawa is a Native American word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley over 100 years ago. Its original farm was built on a land located in Pennsylvania called Wawa." I stayed at Days Inn on Brook Road just kitty corner to here. A short walk of 12 minutes to get here. The only downside was there were no sidewalks or pedestrian lights, I think it's common in this part of Glen Allen. While there were no street lights, Wawa on Brook Road is all lit up. From corners of gas pumps to the store. I felt very safe shopping after dark. (Locals warned about deer though) The best part of Wawa is the 24-hour deli. I love fresh and nutrition food served late at night. I think it's a benefit to the surrounding hotels without a place to cook. Gas prices were reasonable and food prices were affordable. I ordered hoagies (subway sandwich in the east coast) and a chicken soup for dinner and came back next morning for avocado toast and scrambled eggs with sausage bits. The only downside was the coffees were not very hot. This place gets crowded at times. I used the self-checkout machine to pay for my food. Then, picked up my orders back at the deli. They were all piping hot ready to be consumed back at my hotel room. read more

Every.single.time. I order a smoothie from here it is ALWAYS FORGOTTEN, I get it, uber eats is a third party company for them more less, but at the same time wawa is getting the order so they can clearly see when the driver picks it up so they could easily tell them or just have a better system in general. I am tired of this and will be mentioning this to corporate, definitely not the first time this has happened. read more

I've been coming here for a very long time as it's the closest Wawa near me. They're usually pretty mediocre. Today I ordered 20 minutes before I got to Wawa online to pick up curbside. I only ordered two items and I sat outside of the Wawa for 40 minutes until eventually I checked my phone and the order acted like it never even happened. It just disappeared from my phone. I'm not coming back because my time is valuable and they just wasted an hour of my time if you don't wanna waste your time don't go here. read more

I ordered a cheeseburger and fries because the picture on the door looks so great. Super disappointing so save your money. It's a pre-cooked nuked burger that has absolutely no taste even if you put the condiments on it and double cheese. Plus they just nuked it, so it was barely warm. The fries have been sitting there under the warmer lights and were limp and lukewarm. The whole thing went into the trash. Too bad because I usually love Wawa. But now I learn my lesson about ordering this food. Last week I ordered a quesadilla at a different location and that had very little of anything of substance inside it so it wasn't worth the money. Turkey bowl with extra gravy rocks if they remember to put the cranberry sauce on top of it. I also really like their meatballs with extra sauce! read more

Yes WaWa. Hoagiefest !!! The Classic Hoagie is only $ 4.99. There you can pick up great food,beverages and gas. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty good also for the unbelievable prices. I had The Classic Turkey Hoagie with fixings and it was delicious. If you need lunch or dinner on the go, you can have delicious, fast, and very affordable WAWA. Who knew Wawa could be such a lifesaver? Came to Richmond to attend a mini-conference. A boxed lunch was provided to the participants. But the lunch was foo-foo food. All this fancy stuff in the sandwich. Uh....no, thank you! So, my friend and I took off to Wawa. Love that you can custom-order your sandwich with the touch-screen machines there! My only complaint is that after getting your ticket, you have to pay at another area and then return with proof to get your sandwich. The one at Rehoboth Beach, you can pick up your sandwich and then pay for it elsewhere. Nonetheless, Wawa is still a lifesaver! read more

Im a regular wawa customer at this and other locations. Today I received the worst service at this location. I walked up to the counter with my items, the cashier had a co-worker standing there having a conversation with her while she was also on her phone texting or looking at something. She doesnt look up or say one word to me, she just starts ringing up my items. She finishes, and goes right back to her phone while I swipe my card. Still not one word spoken to me. Shes so engrossed in her phone she doesnt realize I swiped and am waiting for her. Her friend whos still standing there gets her attention.. she finished the transaction, puts my stuff in a bag and puts it on the counter. No thank you, have a good day, nothing... never once looked in my direction. This is disappointing because out of all the wawa locations I frequent, everyone else has been friendly and polite. This poor dispkay of customer service needs to be addressed, if I werent late for work I would have spoken to a manager. One good thing was my breakfast sandwich was hot and delicious too bad the service didnt match it. read more

"Gottahava Wawa!!" Wawa is a chain of gas station convenience stores located along the East Coast (mostly along the North East, but of course Florida had to jump in on the action). Since my brain is filled with useless information, I'll share with you that the Wawa company is named after it's first milk plant and corporate headquarters: Wawa, Pennsylvania. You're welcome. I love Wawa for many reasons, but mostly because of the variety of products they offer - especially the fresh foods. Wawa has an amazing self-serve computer touch-screen menu for food orders. Blows my mind, every single time. They are geniuses for their attempt to improve order accuracy. Another bit of Wawa amazingness: they provide surcharge-free ATM transactions to all of their customers. BOOM! If your mind wasn't blown before, I know it is now! This location specifically has all the amenities I would expect from any Wawa - fresh foods, endless drink and snack selections, gas pumps, ect. The only strong suggestion I have is to clean up the bathroom! I know it's a tough feat for such a busy, public place... but dang! It was pretty rank. read more

This already isn't my favorite Wawa, I've had previous bad experiences there but the other night I was in a rush so I tried to pre-order food with the app and for some reason my order didn't go through when I showed up to pay. I asked for help and the employees seemed clueless, so I began to reorder my food in the store. I asked if they were still serving meatballs because they weren't available on the screen but I had just ordered them with the app; the girl behind the counter said they had plenty left. So then she asked her manager to make meatballs available for me to select, keep in mind, I'm still in a rush, so about 10 minutes go bye and no meatballs. Then 2 more employees walk from the back, laughing and having a good time, I asked "Can someone help me get some meatballs please?" They both looked at me like they were shocked, so I waited about another 10 minutes or so, no one even lifted a finger to help me. It was pathetic. I already a long day and this showing of poor customer service was just the cherry on top. Will never go to that Wawa again. read more
