This WaWa is on point. I came here after an Exxon down the street did not have fresh breakfast. They did not disappoint. Though I was hesitant how crowded it would be pulling into the parking lot, as there we're many many cars in and out. Theresa, the cashier was very fast at checking everyone out, not to mention extremely friendly at 530 in the morning. She knows her stuff! On my way out another female employee held the door for me. My husband and daughter and I stopped here on a Sunday to use the bathroom and get lunch. We are huge fans of Wawa's in NJ but this one was a disappointment. The bathroom was messy and only one soap dispenser was filled. The employees, a woman and a man, making the sandwiches weren't as cheerful as I've seen at other stores. I absolutely love WaWa!!! The prices at this station in Gainesville are WORTH the drive from Northern VA to here. The pumps are always clean and there are always paper towels and plenty of cleaning solution for the squeegees. Inside the store it is very nice. Their coffee is fantastic and their sandwiches actually are very good, I'd rather have a WaWa sub than Subway any day of the week. I grew up in Jersey on Wawa, so I can honestly tell you that these ones down here, with the gas, suck. Take this location for example. No hot pretzels, no philly soft pretzels, no meatball park sub. Empty counters everywhere. It's as bad as 7-eleven, I'm surprised I could get coffee. Really disappointed. This place is either closed or there is no good food in it. Don't get me started on the unfriendly, rude and disheveled people they hire. And hire someone to do something with this parking lot area, it's nasty. read more

Really, Yelp? You want me to review a gas station? The only thing notable here is that it is directly across the street from a 7-11 with gas, and the two businesses are usually in a price war. Went in the Wawa today and ordered food, ok no problems. On the way in, I see a sign that says you have to have a mask or face covering to enter the store. While waiting on my food, I notice an employee, possibly a manger (because of his grey shirt) working in the food section, with his mask pulled down to his chin (not even covering his mouth and nose), but yet we are going to put a sign up and the employees can not do what it says. read more

My sister and I went to this location last night for snacks and beer, both of us are of legal drinking age and both provided proof of Virginia state ID, yet the cashier Jaime decided to be extremely rude and attempted to refuse us service for no reason so another very kind young lady came over to help the situation. She then explained to Jaime that he cannot refuse us service and she served us and sent us on our way. Jaime needs to either be fired or retrained on the proper etiquette of how to interact with customer. I will never return to this wawa and recommend everyone else stay as far away from it as possible. read more

Clean, well-lit, great selection of snacks, and the deli is actually really good. I've been stopping at wawa's for years now since I used to live in NJ and this quality is consistent. The ATM's in wawa never charge a fee, and they sell tastycake brand! Good stuff. I stop here 5 times a week on the way to work for coffee and sometimes pick up food for lunch. Being from Philly I was not originally interested in Wawa but only for its convenience. However, my kids, having grown up on Wawa got me more interested in their menu. Although they are not the best hoagies I ever had, I have come to love their rolls. I occasionally crave their breakfast sandwiches, especially the bacon, egg, cheese on croissants. Every once in a while they have $1 coffee or specials on the Sizzlis. Tip, order first on the interactive menu then get your drinks and snacks. It's all about the bread and tastycakes. Love the sandwich ordering system as well. I grew up around Wawa's in Pennsylvania so this may be biased. I am very grateful to have a place that will sell me hoagie rolls that don't fall apart the minute you take the first bite. Theses guys are trucking in Amoroso's. Funny thing, Amoroso's are far from the best rolls in Philly. They are one of the largest commercial bakers for Italian breads up there. Here they are a precious commodity. So much for the bread. How is it that the local gas station is in the top four highest rated restaurants in the area. I guess I'll keep bringing home those Amoroso rolls and making my own cheesesteaks and hoagies. read more

I am in this store 4-6 times a week, and always have a great experience. They are always friendly and even if there is a lot going on, they are always willing to help. They have a huge coffee bar with a wide variety of coffee choices. Food is great..fresh and made to order! They have all sorts of snacks ranging from ultra healthy to insanely sinful...LOL. Meh. I've experienced better WAWA's. This one, on Lee Highway in Gainesville, VA is one of the most inconsistent WAWA's I've used -- seems anytime I'm in a hurry for middle quality gasoline at a slightly lower price than the Big Boys there's no receipt paper in the pump I use, the shut-off check valve hasn't been serviced recently, making a complete fill-up difficult and slow, and I have to wait in a long line inside while the slow cashier gets around to me to get me my receipt. I try to buy my gasoline when I'm near the big "cost concerned" store for their Top Tier gasoline at a lower price than at WAWA. Any place with restrooms as untidy and unsanitary as this one makes me wonder how the food is handled. The sandwiches, subs and coffee at this location, I also find have great inconsistency and the coffee, especially, sometimes is watered down rather than refilled. Too late, when I get down the road, do I realize this. The employees are young (generally) unprofessional and uncaring. read more

The manager, Qusay, provided a quick and friendly service. Food he made was great, better than some restaurants. Him alone is a good enough reason to go there! The only problem I had at wawa was the older lady who rang me up. I waited in line for about 10 minutes just to pay for my sandwich and a drink.
