Choosing Wawa to fuel up is always an easy choice when my low fuel light illuminates, although competition is in abundance this brand always stands out. Like most Wawa's this place was clean and their fuel prices were competitive, I had no need to go inside since all the equipment worked great including the receipt dispenser so I had no interaction with the staff. This location is easy to access and exit even though Route 41 can get quite congested at certain times of the day. I've never had a bad experience at any Wawa so I'll continue to stop in when I need to fuel up and there's one close by... read more

I generally enjoy WaWas. This was a seemingly new Wawa. The chain is expanding in South Florida. The store was super clean and really nice. Coffee is (per usual) really good. The location is easy to get to and right near a few Spring Training stadiums for Major League Baseball. I visited WaWa on my way to the Minnesota Twins stadium. I didn't get any food this time but normally their food is above average. Surprising for food purchased in a gas station - but typically really good. Usually at WaWas I'm greeted by super nice staff - I will say, here it felt more standard service you would get anywhere. That was a little disappointing. I love Wawa. I am originally from PA, and Wawa was my first job at 15. I know that back then everything was fresh all the time. I am happy to see Wawa in Florida now! I ordered a medium side of meatballs (so good!). You get 4 for a medium. I also ordered a classic chicken salad sandwich with lettuce, pickles and sweet peppers. The sandwich didn't look so great, but it was awesome! I added some salt after tasting it. The store seemed clean and the cashier was so friendly! Seemed like he enjoyed his job. The Italian sandwich I ordered was too hard and the roll really dry. The Italian meats didn't have much flavor to them. Not sure if I would get another sandwich here. I was ecstatic when I heard last year that we will have a few WaWas in Fort Myers. Missed the grand opening last week but we make it for lunch and filled our gas tank. We went to WaWa located at 2370 Colonial Blvd not the one at US 41. First the gas price, it was 4-5 cents less than the neighborhood gas station! Next, we have the Philly Cheesesteak and Turkey with Cheese Hoagies with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, grilled red pepper, etc. Since it is grand opening, all coffee any size is free. Two Shortie hoagies for just over $6! It is fresh and unbelievable low cost! Above all, it is tasty and filling with super customer service. What a combination! To top off our deluxe lunch experience, we have Banana Foster and French Vanilla Coffee with a chocolate croissant. WaWa, welcome to Fort Myers and will be friend for a long time! read more

This Wawa had it's grand opening just last week. My family was excited, because Wawa's are a mid-atlantic thing that we all get excited about. You may be suspicious of gas station subs, but don't knock it til you try it. Since it was the grand opening, it was PACKED. They were promoting by offering free cups of coffee. Being that I'd drive down to Florida, free coffee was heartily welcomed. I have never tried breakfast at Wawa before, so I had a small cinnamon sugar oatmeal. It was delicious, and under 500 calories. This store is more brown and mature looking than the stark white of the Wawas I'm used to seeing back north. I love coming here after getting off of work. This morning I wanted some food that was different from Dunkin donut even though I love their breakfast. Today I ordered an egg white sandwich with veggies and a mint mocha, which by the way was really good. The sandwich didn't smell bad, it had a healthy veggie smell which kinda through me off but I do eat healthy. Once eating the sandwich it was amazing as always! WaWa could and would never let me down when it comes to their food. I'll always be a huge fan of them! Another thing was, it was really cold in there. Like really cold, I was really looking forward to going outside because of how uncomfortably cold it was in there so I can only imagine how the workers feel being in there for a whole eight hour shift. The only thing about up "north" was WaWa. I was so excited when I saw that this one was being built and is completed! There's no other gas station that can compare to WaWa. It's clean, customer service is friendly, and the food is, surprisingly, great! You can order on these touch screen monitors and your food should be ready in a few minutes. Make sure to try the club sandwich or the meatball sub, with a side of Zapps (the best chip around, hands down!). Still feels like a mini factory, especially since I was redeeming a couple coupons. * I still can't say it's 4 star worthy, as I've got to go more times to these places, however what entailed on my trip in doesn't make the review have anything less than 3.5 stars (we need a half star system here). * What drew me was the aforementioned coupons. Fast and convenient touch screen ordering, with more than enough stations to order from. The team is nice and friendly, but not the fastest at delivery of a sandwich. Expect about a ten to fifteen minute wait during lunch. (Not too long, but seems longer because you order fast and then wait...) Food is solid, keep in mind it is gas station food so don't expect greatest quality or flavor. This location is convenient as we find ourselves in this area often. There are a good number of pumps spaced nicely so that getting in and out isn't an issue. Today we saw prices for gas go up to the $1.80s/gallon throughout town. Not bad, really, but we were still pleased to see this gas station offer gas at $1.65/gallon today. One thing we would like to see is for WaWa to place security stickers on the pumps. There have been numerous reports of credit card skimmers being placed at pumps in the area. Placing stickers across panels so they can't be hidden is one safety and security measure that could easily be added here. read more

I came in for food and a coffee. I was put off right away by the food being thrown around between kitchen staff, they were throwing food into each other's hoodies. Decided to just get a hot coffee, while pouring my coffee I couldn't believe how loud and obnoxious they were being . I'm all for a little fun at work but this was just ridiculous. As I was standing in line to pay for my coffe the same kitchen staff decided that one of the girls should jump into a garbage can and another girl would parade her around the store and they yell and screamed. One of the male workers made a comment of " guess it's gonna be one of those nights again" clearly this must happen often. So, when we were traveling and came across this WaWa, I thought it was a good opportunity to give it a try. I ordered an Italian sub. First-the ordering system is great! Walk up to a kiosk, place the order, and then wait for them to call your number. That part was great! The sub was good...maybe my expectations were very high from all of my friends...but it was good. When it comes to Quesadillas Wawa is not the place to come. Their sandwiches and other non Mexican food on the other hand are really good. I order a chicken bbq quesadilla, I was disappointed.
