So the Lacey McDonald's is always hit or miss. You either get your order completely wrong, sit in…read morethe drivethru for far too long, or if you're lucky to only order a few things you might get It right. I did order $30 worth of food for a few people so I understand how It can get a little confusing. However, while placing my order I was rushed. They were just trying to get me out of the drive thru rather than making sure I was done and got everything I needed. While paying, I was told "you don't get a receipt because I ran out of receipt paper". No, I need a receipt as I am paying for multiple people and need to be able to get the money accordingly from them. She says okay ask the next window for It. Sure. Fine. Get to the second window, get our two Sweet Teas with NO ICE. I love a warm iced tea. I then ask for my receipt. They say It will be taped to the bag. We get asked to pull up to wait for our food. Charles, the manager, comes to the car "here you go" no smile, no anything. Where's the receipt? Not taped on the bag. I go inside, ask for the receipt again and Charles argues with me that it's taped on the bag. I went through the drive thru for a reason, so I didn't have to go inside so I'm definitely not lying. He gives an attitude and hands me the receipt. When I get home, my order is messed up. I paid for things I didn't receive. McDonald's, remind your staff that their job is to make the customer happy because they definitely aren't doing a great job of that.

My yearly stop here never, ever disappoints. The same owner ~30 years and now under his son, has kept a high standard of fresh food, a sure clean environment and friendly, dedicated staff. Walking into this Roy Rogers is not like walking into any other franchise - it's still real Americana - the staff is friendly, country music is playing on the speaker, westerns on the TV monitor and everyone is speaking English; something really nice to experience again as we lose more and more of who we were. And all of this is a great appeal and draw to this place. See Americans - "Old School" can still be done.
