We contacted Kniffing's and a "supervisor" was assigned to come out and give us an estimate as we also needed some plants moved, and have sprinkler issue's. We had to find out when we were gonna see the supervisor. He finally showed up and we were told he would be back with us in a few days and after a week of getting no response we had to call to find out what was going on, we got the expected "sorry, etc." When we finally got someone to come out, it was the owner Josh. We went over everything again and to his credit, he did make some notes and took a few pictures and were told the supervisor was no longer with the company. Again we are told the estimate for the work would be completed in a few days. We were first sent a separate proposal for the maintenance that was full of assumptions that we argued about for days, still no word on the other work and finally after having to call to get an update on other proposal, it finally arrived by email and looked like the paperwork for a mortgage and again needed to be addressed with omissions, for example replacing these plants but, no mention of what the plants were and we also asked to have some things taken out completely and after waiting WEEKS, I gave up and emailed them that is it obvious in our minds that they must be abandoning the work all altogether and we do not want to do business with them AT ALL and they email back with more apologies and ask me again does that mean you do not want us to work for you anymore? Please stay away from this company. We are beginning to not trust the Yelp reviews anymore as they have not turned out well several times now.
