We could not be happier with the job that Dan did when he renovated our entire backyard. We had a retaining wall put in, the grass taken out, pavers, concrete, artificial turf, irrigation for future plants and trenching for future hot-tub. Dan did a great job with everything. We had the design drafted by YardZen and after obtaining quotes from their recommended contractors and a couple other outside options, we were happy with Dan's quote and his suggestions while talking through the layout. My wife and I were very impressed with Dan's work. He did an amazing job. Rebuilt our patio deck (tore out the wood and replaced with Trex), rebuilt two different gate entrances into our backyard, as well as rebuilding a fence line between our yard and one of our neighbor's yard. He also removed two well established plants and trimmed up our fig tree. He was very professional, on time, and worked hard all day. He estimated the job would take a week and he finished in four days! We have had a home project done every year since we purchased our home, and Dan blew us away with his punctuality and quality. I hired Mr. Boney to build a fence and put in a new sprinkler system. He was professional, fast/timely and did great work. His pricing is fair. I want to hire this contractor to put in a good neighbor fence as well. The only problem I have with leaving this review is that Mr. Boney works alone and is often booked! He's a no hassle contractor though when he is able to book you in his busy schedule. Just fair prices for good and experienced services. One can't ask for more than this. Dan just did a "spring cleaning" on our yard. My husband and I are both extremely satisfied with the results. He got rid of all our weeds, trimmed all the bushes, pruned the roses, spread mulch in all the beds, and even tied back a mulberry tree that is leaning on our fence. His attention to detail is impeccable. We had a LOT of weeds, and I think he managed to get all of them! He is going to be our go to lawn care service from now forward. After my previous review, Dan contacted me and apologized for his lack of communication due to unexpected personal problems. He offered to take care of the work, but we'd already hired someone else. He issued us a partial refund today. While I would have been happier to have the work done immediately, I appreciate that he made an effort to make it right in the long run. I hired Dan to do a yard landscape clean up and if that went well a monthly garden service. Prices were very fair and he did a great initial job. I hired him back for monthly services and he didn't seem very organized. He had to change service dates often (totally not a problem- I'm flexible), but he would also forget to invoice a few times so I was stuck with a larger bill, of course paid it right away but what I don't understand is why he fell off the planet. I requested a quick picture be sent to me with every invoice or service just so I know it actually got done since I live out of town but I didn't always get that, perhaps it was asking too much? After about 3 months of service he just stopped coming. I was on the other end thinking he was doing his job but nope. Never called or emailed to explain---I thought it was extremely unprofessional. Dan, if you happen to read this...what happened? You honestly seemed like a genuine good guy and our pricing was fair and jobs you did do looked great. I guess I'm on the hunt for a new Gardener. Dan recently did a lot of work in our backyard and it looks fantastic! A few of our neighbors have been so impressed that they too want to use his services. He installed an irrigation system since we had no water at all in our backyard. Everything is on a timer which is very user friendly. In addition, he also prepped for and laid sod in the top part of the yard. Our backyard looks like an entirely different place.
