It should also be noted that her clinic does not accept insurance so the initial consult is $200 that you have to pay prior to the virtual appointment. Our original consultation went really well. I discussed what was going on with me personally, and she seemed very receptive. She ended our appointment with an at home assignment for me to complete so she would be able to correctly diagnose and treat me appropriately. I emailed the assignment back within the following day or two and contacted the front desk via text (which is the only way to communicate with them) to confirm they received it. Dr. Rankin also requested that I get a EKG. I am currently in dental school so it's difficult for me to make appointments. I was finally able to complete that about two weeks after our appointment and again confirmed with the front desk that they have received it. One week goes by- no response. So I politely check in to see if there was any feedback with my diagnosis. She states that she will get back to me shortly. Another week goes by- no response back. I text back again to let them know i still have not heard anything. NO RESPONSE. I text again the following day- NO RESPONSE. I never heard from them again. So I spent $200 on a consult with Dr. Rankin and then followed her request for an EKG which was another $200 and never heard from Dr. Rankin or her office again. I tried to make another appointment online to speak with Dr. Rankin directly and they denied my request for an appointment. I'm not completely sure what went wrong or why she decided to ignore me after seeking her help. I was never rude or pushy. I honestly was at a loss for words on how I was treated. She made me feel like I wasn't worth her time and she didn't want to help me. Anyway- point being- if you want actual medical advice and treatment this is NOT the place. There are a lot of other great holistic and general practitioners in the area that communicate well and have your best interest at heart. Just look a little further than Dr. Rankin, do your research, and you'll end up right where you belong without wasting $200 on a useless appointment.

After they did this three times I realized they had no intention of providing the service and I went elsewhere. I will dearly miss Dr Richards but no way will I go back there.

His staff is always happy and will tell you what a great doctor he is to work for. Carol, his P.A. is wonderful as well. The new office in St. Lucie West is beautiful! Dr. Poto is always creating new ways to help alleviate pain for chronic pain sufferers such as myself. His resume is very impressive and you'd never know how great his accomplishments are because he never brags about himself. I am so glad my neurosurgeon sent me to him more than a year and a half ago and I will continue to be his patient for the rest of my life. I just hope his practice can become participants in BCBS because he is out of network for me, but worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and get away from the quack pain doctors who just want to push pills and have to look at your chart over and over again to remember who you are and why you are there. Dr. Poto will work hard to find solutions that work for you and improve your quality of life!!

As both of us are nurses with extensive experience--over 20 years each--we have a deep understanding of the healthcare field. I have been under the care of Pioneer Pain Management for approximately six years for two chronic conditions, while my wife has consulted Dr. Poto for several issues over the past three years. The clinicians at Pioneer Pain Management have consistently demonstrated exceptional knowledge, care, and attentiveness. A notable example is Dr. Poto's ability to diagnose a chronic condition that took over 20 years to be correctly identified by numerous neurologists and medical doctors in Massachusetts and Connecticut. During my initial appointment with Dr. Poto, he accurately diagnosed the condition without the need for prior medical records, a feat that took over two decades to achieve elsewhere. My wife has also experienced similar levels of expertise and care from Dr. Poto, leaving her consistently impressed. Based on our combined experience of over 40 years in acute care medicine, we wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Poto, his team, and the entire office for the treatment of chronic pain conditions.
