First of all, Dr Richards is a wonderful physician but as a business this practice is a disgrace…read more A year ago, they sold me very expensive hearing aids with three years of annual visits for maintenance. A year later when it was time for the first annual followup visit they just couldn't be bothered. They gave me an appointment and just before the visit they called and cancelled and rescheduled for a month later. After they did this three times I realized they had no intention of providing the service and I went elsewhere. I will dearly miss Dr Richards but no way will I go back there.

He diagnosed it quickly, lanced it on the spot and for 15 days he met me in the office with massive shots, clean and repacking and probably saved my life, while keeping me out of the hospital. That made me a believer in him, because he met my husband and I on weekends when they were closed too! He was wonderful, and balanced, measured when we had Covid too. No judgments, just a willingness to support us with accurate information so that we could make informed decisions about our own health. A year ago I ended up in the heart with an undiagnosed heart problem. He referred me to both heart and lung experts, Dr GoJarity, Cardiology, never gave up until an answer was forthcoming. Dr Carpino promised a year ago he'd get an answer and he did!! We have also found Andy and Suzanne and others at 24 Hr to be amazing, very supportive and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this great place for medical hope!! RitaB

As both of us are nurses with extensive experience--over 20 years each--we have a deep understanding of the healthcare field. I have been under the care of Pioneer Pain Management for approximately six years for two chronic conditions, while my wife has consulted Dr. Poto for several issues over the past three years. The clinicians at Pioneer Pain Management have consistently demonstrated exceptional knowledge, care, and attentiveness. A notable example is Dr. Poto's ability to diagnose a chronic condition that took over 20 years to be correctly identified by numerous neurologists and medical doctors in Massachusetts and Connecticut. During my initial appointment with Dr. Poto, he accurately diagnosed the condition without the need for prior medical records, a feat that took over two decades to achieve elsewhere. My wife has also experienced similar levels of expertise and care from Dr. Poto, leaving her consistently impressed. Based on our combined experience of over 40 years in acute care medicine, we wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Poto, his team, and the entire office for the treatment of chronic pain conditions.
