Ordered the Memphis and was pleased by the quality of the BBQ pork, as well as the nicely toasted bun, thick, juicy hot dog and creamy coleslaw which accompanied it. The side of fries and broccoli poppers was also generous and perfectly fried. A very good experience! Add this to the best dining on Fulton St. along with the personalized note I received with my order and it adds up to perfection!

Mozzarella sticks were a FAIL. Left too long in the fryer, the cheese disappeared and hollow, tough breading was left behind. Parking is limited, maybe three cars can fit. We were drenched and decided that some hot coffee on the way out of town would be just the thing. Aquamos Coffee Collaborative to the rescue! It's in downtown Waupaca, so the parking is basically street or street angled parking. My husband was able to find a spot to sit with the car and camper while I ran in and got our coffee. Since it was lunch time and I noticed what sounded like a pretty stellar breakfast sandwich on their menu, I ordered us a couple of those as well. For our coffee we got the caramel roll latte (caramel-y, ever so slightly cinnamon-y deliciousness). They also have alternative milks, if you so desire. The breakfast sandwich was a sesame bagel with chipotle mayo, egg, bacon, and sharp cheddar--it was super flavorful and absolutely delicious. Oh...and I believe they're dog friendly. We were warmed up by the hot coffee and kickin' eats in no time. Thanks Aquamos! Get to it!

She had a hot mocha latte and I had the grasshopper mocha iced. Everything was really good! With both of us getting chips, our bill was just under $50. I would get everything again. Gift shop, restaurant area and restrooms were kept clean. Then we went out back to walk along the water and see the covered bridge and chapel. Most everything was kept nice outside, too, but I was disappointed on the clumps of cobwebs and dust on the chapel and the dirty and cobwebbed windows on the outside. It wouldn't take much to wipe those items down. If I'm in the area, I would definitely stop in again!

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Lisa, who was so personable and welcoming. She shared a bit about her shop and even told me how she learned to make gelato from someone straight from Italy (definitely ask her about it--it's such a fun story!). Speaking of gelato--my $6 portion was huge. I'm so used to city prices and smaller servings, but here you really get your money's worth. They also run great specials; in August, for example, it was two beers for $4--unreal. If we'd been hungrier, I would've loved to try one of their handmade sandwiches too. On top of that, I had one of the best cold brews I've ever tasted--it got me "juiced," as we say. Between the warm atmosphere, generous portions, and Lisa's genuine hospitality, this is a gem of a spot. If I'm ever back in the area, Comma Café will definitely be a planned stop.
