Our cat seemed to mind having her nails trimmed much less than when we've tried doing it ourselves. The whole thing took about five minutes and, at only $15, was a great value. We also did a little shopping while we were there. They have an amazing selection of cat food, along with products for just about every other type of household pet. We picked up both wet and dry food while we were there. We'll definitely be returning on a regular basis for our cat's nail trims.

They said he kept sitting and fell twice. He is a big dog and has joint issues. He also gets scared on smooth surfaces to walk across. So there are no challenges with other dogs and all are perfect when they come in. She was only doing furmanator and nails. They said we can't come back anymore and we said not coming in store and she said fine. I have taken cavalier there and I shop in store all the time but not anymore. They were rude and never addressed problems at the get go before the groom. Also my fiance seen them drag a dog across the floor. I think they need to be trained to deal with certain circumstances and care for the well being of a senior animal. They could have put him on a bigger rug and worked on him while sitting. A 1 star was too much. They just were like we can't deal with him so we won't finish him. No charge but we were more than willing to pay. This twice before going there.

He loves plush toys (he's missing most of his teeth) that have a larger plush component and then inside there are smaller plush's they can pull out. I purchased this "premium" one that had 3 birds in a "birdhouse" (or a grass hut?) for him. The next day I gave it to him and within minutes I noticed a plastic piece on the ground and saw that the bird he had in his mouth had a hole in it. I immediately sent a message to WITB because I couldn't believe I spent $25 on a toy there and plastic was coming out. Today I got a message back from someone there. I was really ticked by the message (included). It came across as a "too bad, so sad" reply. How am I supposed to know what your policy is? I've been there one time. It could've been worded much differently even without a refund. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be back.

They carry a wide variety of pet foods, but there weren't many toys for cats to choose from. I was hoping to find something like one of those coiled tunnels that cats love to run through. Instead, there was just a small display of catnip, balls, and a few fishing pole style toys with soft items on strings. It was a little disappointing for a first visit. I did end up buying a couple of small items and some cat treats. You can never have enough of those. The employee who checked me out was friendly.

I have found that many other pet suppliers have a pretty dismal selection of cat toys, while offering plenty for dogs. Since I was in the neighborhood, I decided to stop in and check this place out. They have a lot to choose from. I don't know if they carry every type of cat food, but the selection was far more extensive than I expected. On this visit, though, I was mostly interested in toys. I found exactly what I was looking for. In fact, they had four different versions of tunnels for Stu to crawl through. I ended up buying one with a very unique design. I don't like the cardboard scratch pads that have taken over because I feel the longevity might not be good and the mess it could make on the floor. The store it self had an empty parking lot for a Sunday afternoon which I thought was strange but I went in to find a mostly empty store where the employees out numbered the customers. The store is nothing like the West Allis location because it's small with noticeable less live pets and a smaller foort print but I found what I needed. The food brand selection for my brand yield only two options in the big bag and not what I wanted but something I wanted try so I'm not complaining yet but if I did want the what I'm using it's not here. I can't find a rope scratch pad and only the cardboard versions and one with carpet, I went with the carpet version. I felt that the food selection was smaller than than the other two big chains with one just down the road so I probably will not back because of the limited selection, I want the 15 pound bag of food because I'm keeping my buddy and I don't want to buy small bags and make several more trips than I need to.

Wow is this business awesome! We typically purchase Origin dog food and we typically pay a steep…read moreprice. They had one of the larger bags in stock- 30lbs. I brought the bag to the front and asked if they had a 2nd bag of the same size in the back, unfortunately they did not have a 2nd bag. A bit later after frolicking through the store playing with the squeaky toys and trying on dog collars, I saw one of the clerks bringing up two of the smaller 15 pound bags. She then said that they would sell us the two smaller bags for the price of the larger bags. SWEET! Usually the disparity in price between the two bags is substantial when normalizing the cost of dog food per pound. On top of that, the price for Origin was so much less here at Friends of Nature than what we are used to paying! These guys went out of their way to give us a great buying experience and we hope this yelp review will increase traffic to this store. We know that we will be back!

Realized late on a Saturday that we were out of dog food (the kiddo, who feeds our dogs, forgot to…read moremention we were getting low!) and our usual local biz where we typically purchase our dog food was closed. Ooof! Ran here to get a bag of Authority (a brand the pupp-os have had before and tolerate well). It's not the biggest PetSmart I've shopped in, but it seems to have everything you would need for pet care. Consistent with my experience at other PetSmart locations, it's well organized and sparkling clean. We went during COVID19 and the workers were all wearing masks, social distancing is encouraged, and they have a plexiglass shields at all checkout stands. Their prices are reasonable (we get large bag of grain free Authority which, with our PetSmart perks card, is less than $40). The service was friendly and efficient. Bonus? I spied a nice selection of Halloween costumes while I was there. I'm looking forward to coming back and checking it out! Get to it!
