Watts Right came out to inspect the electrical system in a home I purchased and was remodeling. The estimator/salesman that showed up spent about 20 mins looking at the house. Afterward he gave me a tiered estimate to "repair what's wrong" with the highest tier costing almost $16,000. I called a two additional electricians to get bids. They both told me that my system was fine and did not need any repairs. I do not recommend Watts Right and will not use them again. read more

Good, competent service. Helped us with installing a vent fan in our laundry room and adding surge protection and a generator hookup to our house. Very satisfied with the work. However, if you want to finance the work, do NOT do it through their in-house lender, "GoodLeap." It is a SCAM. I didn't read the fine print and got stuck with a 15-year loan at 13% interest! And my first four payments ALL went to interest! I don't see how you can ever pay this off!? Buyer Beware. They do good work; but pay cash, or finance it somewhere else. read more

I called them because they offer free estimates and I needed some work done on a light fixture. Made an appointment and they bumped me twice and then finally came on the third appointment. I was told I would have an estimate that day because it was such a "simple job, but it took a couple of phone calls and several days to get a handwritten note sent over via photo from a phone. The estimate was way too high for a light fixture in my opinion, but I'm not an electrician. I just feel that the Customer Service and the follow up wasn't that great when I could've been a new customer for them because I have other work needed to be done as well. read more

I used this company to do a complete rewire of an older home with knob and tube wiring. I told the worker since the old knob and tube wiring was in the attic, I wanted a complete rewire. This company charged me for a total home rewire put left my entire kitchen wired with old knob and tube. This company failed the City of Tulsa inspection because they requested to leave the old knob and tube wiring because I have all new kitchen appliances. Thankfully, the city inspection failed the inspection and they had to rewire my kitchen. This company left holes throughout my home, trash and dirty hand prints on ceilings and walls. We met Allen at the local Home & Garden show and discussed the project of replacing our circuit breaker. He offered to send someone out to give us an estimate so a couple of days later, Lucas came out and went through the process of what they do for this type of job. He said they would bring a generator so if we needed the TV hooked up or the internet, then he could accommodate us. He gave us 3 cost options for different type of box and what could be included. We made our choice and the project was scheduled. After Lucas left, we got to talking and decided we wanted to upgrade to have the smart breakers installed, so I called and spoke to them and requested the upgrade. They kept in touch, let us know when Lucas would be on his way out here and he arrived on the scheduled day and a little early so we were ready. He got right to work, and didn't mind Sammy watching or asking questions. When he was almost done, Eugene showed up to finish the project and between the 2 of them, they got all the breakers labeled and verified all the power was working. Eugene did a load test, a walk through, cleanup, explanation of the warranty and made sure we were satisfied and would answer any questions we had. We are extremely satisfied with their work, their friendliness, the work ethic of the company and the knowledge that if we have any questions or any issues, we can call them at any time. Had them come out to do a few small things and got charged $400. They would not even put a cover on a single junction box or shield an exposed wire... nothing... just an endless up sale of "we can do this but it's going to cost more" and "that is a separate service." For a diagnose and repair without any repair, that to me is just a consultation and not an estimate especially considering when I asked for an estimate that we would have to schedule a separate appointment to go over the numbers. Everything was super shady with the charisma of a car salesman. Then he has the gall to call me and complain that I'm complaining to the office. If you want to get paid! DO THE WORK!!!! Hell if he had even changed a lightbulb I might not have been so pissed. But not doing anything except taking pictures and charging me $400 while telling me you can't improve or fix anything without 8-15k Is the move of a Scumbag... I called and complained and apparently got refunded, but we will see. That tells me this has to be a recurring problem caused by greedy practices being pushed on these techs to up-sale and not work. I just wanted an outlet for a deep freezer and all this drama. The fact they use the "Watts right!" Pun, in response to their bad reviews speaks volumes. Overpriced in their services compared to other electrical companies in the area. Too many apprentices in the field without proper supervision of journeymen electricians. They also do not pull permits when required for jobs which can cause issues if you plan on selling your home in the future. I'd look elsewhere. read more
