The light fixtures in my bathroom were not functioning. I had previously called Mr. Sparky's as a…read morefirst suggestion since I've never had to call an electrician before, and a kid came out, bragged about being a master electrician for 16 years, even though he was under 30, then proceeded to quote me between $8k to $25k to replace all wiring in my house (in order to get to our very terrible primary problem, bathroom lights). I then called Hot Shot Electric. A cool, professional guy named Justin came out, and fixed the issue faster than the Sparky's guy took just looking at things. (Justin also went above and beyond and spent a small amount of time by identifying that the Sparky's kid was lying about the breaker box and showed me why). He saved me somewhere between $7.8k to $24.8k (that I wasn't going to spend, for everyone's reference) amount of BS money by identifying the real problem and fixing it right away. He also offered options that I learned about previously from friends of the AL/Cu wire nut conversion, which they could do at a ball park of $2k. I highly recommend these guys in a world where you take your car in for a broken tail light and the mechanic says he's gonna have to rebuild your whole car to fix it.

Tyson may be my favorite new person ever. All I can say about this company is WOW…read more My house needed A LOT of work; it was a full day appointment. I had many items to scope and price out upfront, and Tami was so kind and amazing. We had to work through several proposals before deciding on final services, and she always responded quickly with thorough details. Then, Tyson and his helper showed up, and they were the nicest people ever. We walked through all services to be done, and Tyson explained all troubleshooting/results well plus gave me options to decide from (like what color of weather protector I wanted on our outside outlets) versus doing whatever he thought was best like standard vendors. He had to run to Lowe's to grab more parts and did not charge me for them as they were "minor." He also discovered extra issues/subpar electrical items as he worked on the house that he corrected/adjusted to perform better without charging extra. He went well over above and beyond! On the invoice, I noticed an option to tip. I've never seen this for an electrician, plumber, roofer, or any type of home service. HOWEVER, it made total sense, and I tipped them 20%. He saved us hundreds in extra services/parts instead of nickel and diming. He also saved us from more future issues by addressing all of the non-perfect items he saw throughout the house. That's worth a lot for our safety. Jaco's pricing is very reasonable, and the quality of work cannot be beaten! #ServiceStarShoutOut

They came out and gave me an estimate for the job on Thursday and I accepted the bid. On Friday I went and purchased the flood light at the supply house that they recommended. On Monday they arrived to hard wire the light in. The job went quick with 2 men working on the job. One man in the attic and the other man on the outside of the house. The job was complete in about two hours. The men at Murray are true experts when it comes to your electrical needs. I have been using them for a number of years now. They are very good about answering your questions as the job progresses. They keep you updated. They always do a great job for a fair price. I would highly recommend Murray Electric for any electrical job.

On February 6th, we had our septic tank professionally pumped. Shortly thereafter, our plumbing…read morebecame clogged. On February 11th, we contacted Murray Plumbing and Electric to snake the drain line located between the two bathrooms inside our home. On Friday, February 13th, my husband took time off work to meet your technician, Zac. He explained the issue in detail. Zac proceeded to snake approximately 10 feet into the line, removed some grease, confirmed that everything appeared to be flushing, and then left. The service call lasted approximately 10 minutes. We were charged the $89 service fee plus $195 per hour, totaling $284. Unfortunately, the clog returned almost immediately, leaving one of our bathrooms completely unusable. It is unacceptable to pay $284 for what appears to have been a minimal and incomplete service. I contacted your office and spoke with Jenny through your call center. I clearly expressed my dissatisfaction, explaining that the technician did the bare minimum and failed to thoroughly clear the line. I also stated that I expected a higher standard of service based on your company's reputation and reviews. Jenny assured me that you would send another plumber at no charge to correct the issue. On February 18th, Ozzie and his trainee arrived. Ozzie was professional and informed me that the $89 trip fee would be waived, but we would still be charged $195 for the service. I explained that our funds had already been depleted after paying $457.60 to have our septic tank pumped and an additional $284 for the initial snaking service that did not resolve the problem. Even Ozzie acknowledged that Zac likely only cleared enough grease to temporarily relieve the blockage, which would explain why the clog returned so quickly. Ozzie then connected me with Missy, the manager. At that point, we were informed that the issue was being attributed to the company that pumped our septic tank, despite the clog clearly being located between the two bathrooms inside our home -- not in the septic tank itself. We were then told that because the septic tank is allegedly full again, your company cannot snake the line. This situation is extremely frustrating. We have paid significant amounts of money and still have an unresolved plumbing issue and an unusable bathroom. We expect a proper resolution and accountability for the incomplete service that was initially performed.
