Staff is friendly and competent. Office is clean and modern. Dr. Silvers did a great job on my implant. Young and personable.

Love Dr. Castro's knowledge and demeanor plus the office is clean and has a lot of updated equipment. The office could think about purchasing in house crowns instead of sending out with temporary crowns for the patient. A shout out to the office manager as well who is very involved and goes above and beyond. read more

Absolutely the very best and most honest dentist around! Love these guys so much I drive an hour to see them when needed.

Very please with the friendly team! Huge shoutout to everyone for taking care of me! It was quick and easy to book an appointment as well

Went for a yearly visit. After a cleaning and many X-rays I was presented with a treatment plan. First the hygienist made a big deal out of getting a deep cleaning. I'm 72 and have always refused this. She was insistent and said I had to sign off that I didn't want the treatment according to law. Then came the Floride suggestions. I said I'd wait until all the work was done so I didn't overspend my insurance. The treatment plan was a stunner. 3 small cavities but they recommended crowns for all because the teeth would just break in five years if they filled them. I ask about the cost of each item and why the crowns aren't covered? Oh we use something different and insurance only pays for metal crowns???? I've had several crowns installed none are metal BTW. This tells me I'm being lied to so I took my $6k estimate and left. Now looking for a new dentist. read more

Best visit I've ever had at a dentist office!! I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment! The front desk staff were the nicest people to me and made me feel welcome. I was quickly seated for my appointment and the doctor explained the treatment I needed and even showed me a cool digital scan image that I have never had anywhere else. I'll be referring everyone I know! Thank you to the amazing team! read more

Stay way from that dental office. I asked the office workers every time I visit to send me the reminders. But they only send 2 week reminder. Every time when is my cleaning appointment- I forget. I am a busy professional, a University Professor and I do need reminder. Then they charge you $50 for not show up. Today I beg them to accept me being 10 min late--- but they requested to reschedule... I am changing the dental provider for my whole family. read more

Stay away! I paid the estimated cost for a procedure and when I received the insurance EOB found out that I had overpaid by almost $500. This was in June. I requested a refund. They acknowledged owing the refund and have since then been giving me the run around. Kept telling me the refund was "requested", had to wait 4-6 weeks (that time has long passed), then it was supposedly "handled" and requested again. Here I am 4 months later and they still have my $475. I have filed a grievance with my insurance company. Scammers. Next step is a lawsuit. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE. read more

My experience wasn't great. The front desk staff was really nice, but the hygienist was condescending. They charge for a lot of things that normal dental offices don't charge for; they charged me for the samples of mouthwash and other sundry items. The hygienist didn't ask but doubled up on a numbing agent and told me about it after (billed me for double too). When I called to ask to have the sample charges removed (done after the fact, I was going to eat the charges and remember to ask "how much" in the future, but they just sent me a balance due text 6 months later) Heather from the Palmetto office was quite rude and repeatedly reminded me that they're a business...I had considered returning to their office and asking for a different hygienist, but Heather's rudeness sealed the deal. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone. read more

Watts Dental has not failed me. I receive excellent service from the time I enter the office up until the time I leave. the office is clean, front staff is friendly and I just adore my dental hygienist. I listen to my favorite music as I have my cleaning. from someone who dislikes going to the dentist, I highly recommend. read more

Key points... Friendliest dentist office I've ever visited, hands down. They do not rush anything. They are not money hungry people who are trying to get in and get out as many as possible while trying to upsell you the entire time. They are talented people and really care about your questions and concerns. This place is cleaner than clean! No fragrances, bad smells, weird stains, messy bathrooms, spotless around every corner. Honorable mention - they sell electric toothbrushes/water picks and fancy toothpaste/mouthwash for 10-20% less than what you can find it elsewhere, HSA/FSA approved! Everyone here was so caring, uplifting, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. Watts Dental seems to be fully dedicated to being the best of the best, it shows in everything and everyone there. Courtney and Faith are the by far the nicest receptionists I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with on the phone. Faith made me feel so welcomed while checking me in, never dropping her smile for a moment, really exceptional customer service! Korey helped me understand SO much about my situation and guided me to everything I needed, truly a great person. Everything about insurance sucks, but Heather makes it super easy to understand and gives you a nice, detailed report showing every charge and what insurance will cover, she then provides a full explanation for you if you have any questions at all. Dr. Valerie Castro was completely open and honest about everything needed for my treatment plan, very kind and respectful at all times. There's nothing left to say besides wow! I applaud you Watts Dental! Honestly can't say enough how astonishing Watts team is! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could... My old son had his first appointment at Watts Dental in Palmetto with Dr. Castro last week. He came home almost in tears with a treatment plan stating he had 13 cavities and needed two crowns asap. He had seen his pediatric dentist every 6 months always and it was 9 months since he was away at college. We went back to his pediatric dentist with the X-rays taken by watts dental and the treatment plan in hand for a second opinion. Watt's dental absolutely lied to try and take advantage of my son. Four supposed cavities did not even have X-rays done. The two teeth that supposedly needed crowns did NOT need any work at all. This office should be held accountable for lies and over treating patients and taking advantage of insurance companies and the people of our community. I am appalled and speechless with their practice. We plan on following back with the pediatric dentist for one filling needed at this time. I do NOT recommend anyone to go to Watts Dental. We tend to just trust doctors and unfortunately not all are honest and these corporate offices trying to make extra money off people should be help accountable.. one thing I was educated on today... if you are looking for a dentist find one that owns their own practice and works for themself as an individual and is not corporate. Shame on you Watts Dental and Dr Castro!!!! My son said afterwards he felt they were sketchy and VERY pushy for him to commit to all of the 7k of work needed at that very moment. read more
