RUN DON'T WALK FROM THIS DENTIST. If I could give them a minus 10, I would. Same thing happened to me and my significant other like A.R. dated Oct 2, 2025 review, this dentist if in it for the money only. I went in for a tooth problem and after taking a full mouth x-ray and exam they told me it was going to cost over $7000 for everything. I asked them to fix the problem tooth first and they said they couldn't until I went thru a deep cleaning which was the most expensive procedure and my insurance didn't even cover that. My significant other went in for a cleaning (which was covered by his insurance) and they presented him a list of other things that they wanted him to sign first and pay. When he asked what's this for, they told him his insurance didn't pay for this. He got up out of the chair and walked out. We both are seeing a FABULOUS dentist which isn't taking our insurance or us for a ride. STAY AWAY FROM BAYVIEW DENTAL!!! Go to Keyser Dental in Bradenton instead. read more

If I could give this practice zero stars, I would. I attempted to become a new patient and get a cleaning. After taking in excess of 20 X-rays, I was told I could not get a cleaning because I need thousands of dollars in other procedures. The attitude by everyone there was of extreme indifference. I asked three times if all the X-rays would be approved by my insurance and was told yes. Well, to add insult to injury, I now have a bill for $94 and received NO CARE. Believe me when I tell you, this practice is all about money. Never again. read more

Walked in...small lobby but BIG smile! Chastity at the front desk...a beautiful young lady...I always check out my new dentist offices in person before i make an appointment. The dentist is new to this location (Holly) I believe...will have to research her b4 i arrive next week for a general exam and cleaning. Even though I was late for my appointment due to traffic delays on I75 the practice was able to get me taken care of from X-rays cleaning and visit with the Dentist. Courtesy was offered from Reception to Dental Hygienist and last but not list the Dentist. read more

Probably the most relaxed and comfortable dentist office ever. Staff was very nice and genuine.

New tech, new dentist and very high prices. I swallowed the required antibiotic before my scheduled cleaning today. I was kept waiting nearly 30 minutes. well, ok, whatever. Led back by the new tech, small talk followed then down to business. She had a list of items she wanted me to get done today totaling $487. NO, only wanted and expected my teeth cleaned today. That's what I was scheduled for. But no can do. She was going to check if he would do a pared down list today that would only cost me $247. Still NO. I was just there in December for fillings and spent nearly $2000. Did they take X-rays before the fillings? I don't remember. So, waste my time, bought and took unneeded antibiotics and looking for a more reasonably priced dentist. read more

I had a molar shear off at the gum line. I was laughing with Dr. Hollie and her tech during the difficult extraction. They were still very concerned that I was comfortable throughout. It's also nice to see everyone in the office look like they enjoy working there. read more

This is by far the worst dentist I have been to. They do not answer the phone and when you leave a message they do not call you back. I have had two implants done by them. The first fell out twice and the second is falling out. I have had a crown down by them which has thus far fallen out twice. This is all within a year and a half. read more

I made an appointment for my husband, my high school son, and me to become established patients before our cleaning at Bayview Dental Associates. My husband and I refused to take the panoramic radiographic image and full mouth x-ray, knowing insurance would not cover it. The office said they would write it off. I asked my previous dentist place to email the medical release form; they even filled it out for us and would immediately email the records and images. All we had to do was sign it. I often asked them to print it out, but they ignored my request. The assistant and doctor pushed us to take the X-ray and panoramic images. The equipment didn't work. They struggled to operate the machines. My husband and I were there for over 2 hours; the doctor never came by to examine us. I made the appointment to have my husband go first so he could pick up our son at school because he was the last one on the schedule. I told the assistant. However, she disregarded what I conveyed and asked me to come in first. We had to pick up our son from school, and at that time, my husband and I felt highly uncomfortable; we walked out of the office. They end up billing the insurance anyway. This place is a scam, the worst experience ever. They want your money. Please save yourself and your loved ones your precious time and a significant headache and choose another dental practice for your dental care. read more

I cannot rate the cleaning experience because I never made it that far. ALL I WANTED WAS A CLEANING. I had to jump through hoops to get my prior xrays (9 months old) from a CD to their email since apparently, they have no way of reading CDs. Then they inform me that they do not accept xrays less than 6 months old (I have never experienced a dentist so adamant on taking xrays). I ended up giving up and going elsewhere. On top of this, they make you come in for a consultation prior to the actual cleaning. On top of this, I wasted about 30 minutes of my life filling out a ridiculously long and invasive online patient form. read more

Everyone was light hearted and jovial, great group and dentist was very thorough and explained in details on everything I inquired about.

I made an appointment to have my dentures fixed, explaining i had dropped them and broke two teethe. The small waiting room is pleasant enough,staff was fine. After a 25 minute wait I was taken to an exam chair, I told the staff member was with me I was having trouble keeping my dentures clean and she kindly offered to but them in their cleaning solution and machine. So far so good. Waiting awhile to see the Doctor. don't know way I need a doctor for a broken denture. Dr Dixon tells the assistant they don't fix dentures. rubs her fingers over my gums and is gone. The solution is to have new dentures made. $2200.00 is the worked up price. Sorry for me this is not in the budget. Okay I'll come back when I can afford it. My denture are fresh out of their super cleaning solution looking the same. Oh well. Check out is $ 93.00 for nothing, though I did see the doctor and they need to make money too. Wish I was told " WE DON'T FIX DENTURES" would have saved me a trip, their time and my money. read more
