Gerry was recommended to us by a family friend. What an amazing job he did. He painted 4 sides of our 3 story home and 2 interior stairwells. He arranged the scaffolding needed for the front and back of the house. He also arranged for a carpenter to come to replace any dry rot. Gerry was very friendly and professional. Gerry is amazing, Joking I called him the DaVinci of Pacifica. We've seen Gerry's work around our neighborhood, and when after extensive home repair due to the winter rains, he was our painter of choice. He was fantastic, he took around 2 days to do the prep work, fixing and mending, and patching. I told him I wanted "the house to look happy, peaceful, welcoming and joyful yet classy and distinct." After a talk he set out to do exactly that and it turned out even more peaceful and prettier and definitely happier than ever before. Gerry takes extreme care with every aspect of his work and he's very conscientious through out the process he took care to explain everything he was doing and answered patiently to my multitude of questions ,he even tolerated me sitting around while he painted and I was talking at him. During the time he was painting, I was on medical leave helping my mother recover from surgery so I was home all day. Having Gerry around was like having a family member who just came over to give you a hand. His kindness and joyfulness was so welcoming and I loved his stories from his travels. We had a nest on the porch he even carefully removed it and after painting brought the nest back, he was so careful the birds returned. Gerry doesn't use modern sprayers to paint, he uses roller and brushes and the paint is thick on the wall. Ironically a house just around the corner was also being painted with a sprayer , they completed the job in 2 days, and it looks horrible. All of our neighbors have admired our house which went from ugly pastel unmemorable, to looking like a beach house. Our HOA who are very quick to send out notices about a weed being out of place, or a garbage can being too visible from the street, actually sent us a notice complimenting us on the house. read more

We had Waterson Painting paint the outside of a building we were remodelling. I have to say they did a really nice job with the finish. I can't say enough great things about Gerry Watterson. My house was not in the best of shape. Had been 10 years since last painted. He pressure washed the stucco, wood siding, all the trim and even cleaned my patio as he was finishing with the house. He spent at least three days scraping and sanding everything. He primed everything, caulked all the wood joints and filled in holes. My house is over 50 years old and a lot of the wood siding was rotted. He found someone to fabricate the siding and replaced it. After that he applied two coats of finish paint on the house. He was working on my house for quite a few weeks. After that he even cleaned my windows. OMG!! Gerry goes above and beyond what most painters would, I feel. He is very conscientious and wants to make sure everything is done 150% right. He is very trustworthy and a real professional! He has painted at least four or five houses on the block where I live. My house looks ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS now! Thank you Gerry for a job well done. read more

I really appreciate Gerry's conscientiousness and work ethic. He works hard, and made sure we were satisfied with his work. He painted our exterior at a time when the weather simply wouldn't cooperate, and he did his darndest to complete the job. It came out excellent! He scraped lots of peeling paint, patched stucco, he primed and then painted several coats using the best quality materials. He took a couple of extra steps like painting the light well in our house, even though it wasn't part of the job, because he had some paint left. That's old school! Doing a little extra, just because. His rates were very reasonable. I believe you get what you pay for. He wasn't the lowest bidder, and yet he treated us better than the highest-priced bidders!
