Are we allowed to shout "boooo" on Yelp because I have a good 45 second booo for The Joint. For real. Have had a very difficult time having problems with service or care resolved. Multiple experiences have led me to believe The Joint has neither care for their patients nor integrity in their word or deed. Their mistake left me with a giant bruise one on occasion. Difficult to walk for 3 days. Spoke to them. They immediately sent me to corporate who told me, "we can't talk to you about this because you're likely to sue us." I suppose one would expect this from a company who requires membership to use them. If they were able to do what they promise, market themselves on, and communicate to you they wouldn't require a membership-- you'd just come back. Lots of turnover. Lack of care for your needs. No privacy with medical conversations. Lack of integrity. Again, Just would not recommend at all.

When I got there, they gave me an office tour and sat me down in a waiting room. I had already filled out their intake form online. An HOUR later, an HOUR .... the Chiropractor finally comes in, we go through all the questions. She tells me that she would like to do an xray. I'd understand if I was just recovering from an accident and insurance was covering it, but I'm just there for a quick crack and dash. She tells me it's required and its an additional $99 on top of the $70 adjustment. No mention of this prior. Good customer service would've been "Hey we'll do this for free because we dropped the ball and wasted your morning.". but no. I told her my frustration and left am hour 20 after I got there. In response to Dr Shetlin's email:…read more I don't have any ill feelings towards Dr. Shetlin although he does towards me. He's not in the right state of mind and I completely get it. I felt my review was unbiased and objective. I was only writing a review like a usually do. Dr. Shetlin did not bend over backwards for me. I merely just showed up for my appointment. I also asked questions which I did not know were not allowed and frowned upon. I also didn't know that wanting them to obtain a prior authorization and bill my insurance was "wanting everything for free." If I wanted something for free I would have taken him up on the offer of taking their collagen powder that he requested I take "for free". I also apologize for not jumping into a $9,000 package. I only told my experience and I know for a fact people like going to his office if not they wouldn't be open and they wouldn't leave 5 star reviews. I also apologized for your wife's death and told you I was very sorry for your loss. As you told me that's why the eligibility for my insurance was not checked . I've also had family pass away this year. It's hard and it sucks but life doesn't stop & you know this or you wouldn't be in the office or still have it open. You also said that your daughter did the billing and insurance verification but as soon as I showed my ID your front office was able to verify it with out your daughter being their. I was just confused as to why they hadn't done so before. I am sorry you wish me negative energy, Dr. Shetlin I wish you the best and I pray god gives you the strength to help you get through these difficult times.

Horsley Chiropractic is 45 minutes away from where I live but I choose to go to them every time. Goes to show how great they are! I have been going to Horsley Chiropractic for about 3 years now and continue to love it each time I go! Dr. Horsley is kind, easy going, and an extremely intelligent person. He is extremely genuine and really cares about his patients. I feel very comfortable going to Horsley Chiropractic because they have created such a welcoming yet professional environment. I love it! Dr. Horsley has treated me for a few different things over the years (usually I just go for maintenance) but I was recently in a car accident which required many more treatments. Dr. Horsley made the experience completely "pain-free". He took care of all the paperwork and logistics so all I had to do was focus on my treatments and getting better. Today, I have completely recovered! What I love most about Horsley Chiropractic are the types of treatments they offer. Many chiropractors only do manual adjustments. Dr. Horsley uses the Pro Adjuster in addition to manual adjusting. The Pro Adjuster does a really good job at working areas that need more attention or just re-aligning your spine. He also has an amazing hydro massage bed. It feels so good! There are many other awesome things that they offer as well. I definitely give Dr. Horsley and his practice 5 stars. I would recommend to anyone that they should go to Horsley Chiropractic.

*** First of all, there is a one star review here complaining about billing by their psychologist…read more I believe that this review is misplaced as Mountain West Chiropractic has no psychologist. Came here to try them out through a Facebook special for $49 which provided a free soft wave treatment. Trying to find a doctor that I feel very comfortable with. I wish I could remember the doctor's name, but he was very informative and pleasant as was his receptionist. I enjoyed getting to know him and talking about a common interest that we have. Soft wave is a miracle treatment that, of course, insurance companies do not cover because, of course, the AMA doesn't give it a billing code. This defies logic and common sense, of course, because the insurance companies would rather cover much more expensive treatments and procedures instead of this highly cost effective and just plain effective treatment. If you've seen any ads for soft wave treatment with patients suffering from joint pain or stiffness or other ailments, they are true. Let me tell you about my story. I had tweaked an injury to my right shoulder almost a year and a half ago. This limited my mobility and kept me from doing active things like throwing a ball. Even simple things like putting on a necktie or washing my back. There were definite movements that I could not do without pain or limited mobility, like reaching up high. This doctor gave me at least 15 minutes of soft wave therapy (it felt like longer) and it's crazy!--it works immediately. I could reach higher and every mobility issue improved. Doing soft wave instead of surgery? No brainer. I wish this had been available years ago so that I didn't have to go through partially successful surgery that took many sessions of PT for only partial recovery. The technology behind it is that it increases blood flow, can increase bone density, and as far as I can understand, sort of "tricks" cells into a self-healing mode. You can research this yourself, though, it's not the purpose of this review. And of course, it has been in use in Europe for years before the US approved of it. Invented by German doctors to shatter kidney stones. After the soft wave therapy, he gave me an additional treatment with some sort of supplemental electromagnet treatment that also works in deep tissue. It was a pad that produced pulses. I don't remember the exact name of this treatment. His prices are comparable to everyone else's. I would definitely recommend that you try him out. When my financial situation improves, I'm definitely going to pursue this and make an appointment. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
