Over time, however, it felt like the management style, particularly at the ownership level, shifted. Communication became inconsistent, and situations that once would have been handled directly and professionally were not. This was not reflective of the front desk team. Many of the therapists I connected with moved on. My most recent experience simply was not the right fit. I did not feel fully heard, and the session felt more rushed than mindful. After the session, there was no follow up or check in at all, which has never happened in any of my previous experiences here. I was tired of bouncing around, so I gave it time to see if things might improve. In the end, she agreed it was not the right fit. What was most disappointing was how it was handled. It took several calls, emails, and texts from me to learn that my sessions had been canceled less than 24 hours before my next appointment. The front desk told me the owner was supposed to call me about the cancellations and to suggest an alternative therapist, but that call never happened, and there was no follow up afterward. There was also a brief moment that stood out. I had left more than 20 percent, though less than the week before because the experience felt different. When I shared that, it was suggested that the front desk might not have passed the full amount along. That surprised me, as the front desk team has always been consistently kind, professional, and trustworthy. I want to be clear that the front desk staff are excellent. They make scheduling seamless, communicate thoughtfully, and create a welcoming environment every time you walk in. I am writing this because I cared about this place. I used to genuinely look forward to coming here. Moving on feels like losing something familiar, almost like losing a friend. I would still welcome a one on one conversation with the owner, as I would have appreciated that before. I hope the practice finds its way back to what once made it so special.

After countless specialists and years of agonizing frustration, I went to see Kellie for acupuncture. She ended up doing acupuncture, cupping and homeopathy for me. In the end, none of it worked for me in the long run. Why the 5 stars you ask? Because she's great. A little quirky in the beginning, but once you meet her a few times, you learn that you can completely open up to her about anything. And homeopathy is truly fascinating. It's amazing how a psychological or emotional event can cause a blockage that has been the root of all my back, knee, and other mechanical problems all these years... I wish I was made of millions, because I'd continue to go to her even if the treatments didn't work. I felt like I went to a therapy and detox session all at once.

I went to Kellie for homeopathy. It was a cool experience…read more She had a long interview (maybe 1.5 hours) in which she wanted to find out what I was like. The interview alone was a beneficial experience--because when else do you tell someone you've never met, who won't judge you or tell others about you all about yourself, without it being in a setting where you feel like you have to focus on problems (such as in counseling or therapy). It made me realize that therapy can be kind of depressing in contrast with just talking about who you are in general, without trying to focus on problems. Then, a few days later she mailed me the remedy she had selected, which was particular to my underlying personality and my current issues (there are 1000s of remedies to choose from, so the practitioner can be rather specific). The first time I took it, I felt an incredible sense of relief, like "Wow, I don't have to live like I've been living for the past decade (which has been a hard one for me), it's not mandatory, I can have a more enjoyable life." I was not expecting to feel anything at the time, and I have never had that sort of experience before, so I do not think it was purely an expectation effect. I've been taking the remedy for about two months, and it's been one of the best two months I've had in a while. I've noticed some very positive changes in some areas that had been problematic for me for years. Once again, I was not really expecting anything in particular from homeopathy (and the effect I was expecting did not really happen in as large a degree as I expected), so I think this is something more than just expectation effects. Regardless of what it is, I think it's been helpful and I would recommend it. Don't be turned off by the price. After the first appointment, subsequent appointments are less expensive, and you can get a year's worth of treatment for probably a lower yearly price than most other treatments (a year of therapy copays or massage would cost more, for example). Homepathy is cool - I think you should check it out!
