They were especially great with those in our group who quickly discovered they did not quite have their sea legs. We had quite a few victims of seasickness onboard, and the crew handled it all with patience, humor, and compassion, making sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. Once you get past the ride out there, it is nothing but smooth sailing, beautiful scenery, great music, and a really fun atmosphere. The drinks kept flowing throughout the day, and the lunch, while simple, was surprisingly delicious and exactly what we needed after spending time swimming and enjoying the water. Fresh sandwich options, plenty of variety of chips, fresh fruit, ice cold sodas, and water, and a genuinely fun crew made the on boat experience almost as great as the diving! Dive master Ruthie was fantastic she made sure that we saw as much as possible, pointed out plenty of hiding marine life for our amateur photography opportunities, and overall was an attentive dive master for our group. We even had a gentleman drop his personal gear off the boat while loading and she geared back up and went back after already doing 4 dives and she made the 50 foot drop to recover his stuff for him. As long as 15 people are on the tour, they will take you to your Calebra. If less than 15 you stay local! There were well over 15 so we were able to tour Calebra. It was so beautiful! Once you get there, they pick you up on a ferry to take you to the boat . The boat travels for about an hour before getting to a private island and that is where you get the guided snorkeling or diving tour depending on what you selected! My friends and I did the snorkeling. As someone who can't swim (I know I know lol) I had a great time. The tour guides were very informative and helpful for all ages and swim levels. They do provide fruit, cold cut sandwiches and rum punch and when you stop . If you're looking for a "party" boat then this may not be for you. Don't expect lots of liquor and twerking etc it's a family type tour, Some of my friends were a bit disappointed by the price expecting that we'd stop somewhere that had a bar and restaurant but it was just a private island (we're in our high 20s low 30s). I called all the other sunset sails in the area and of course they were all booked up for a beautiful Saturday night. But these guys couldn't fill their boat? They gave us instructions for snorkeling, and helped everyone to securely fasten their gear. We stopped at three spots for snorkeling. The first one were very close to Icacos Island, which was deliberately in a shallow area, so first time snorkelers like me can get some practice before going into deeper waters. The other two spots we stopped were in the middle of the ocean, among the reefs and vast expanse of the Caribbean Sea. Herbert, an experienced diver that guided our tour, dove down and flipped lots of rocks and caught little star fish, urchins, shrimps, crabs and other interesting creatures for us to see. It was amazing, and something I couldn't have done if I were on my own. Snorkeling is such an easy sport, even though I've only swan in water parks before, I find it easy to swim the sea with no problem. Lunch was prepared by them, with cold cuts, cheese and sandwich bread. I'm not a fan of these type of food, but I didn't expect hand pulled noodles in the middle of the sea either. Food was not the point of this trip anyway. If you don't like these food, you can always bring snacks and just put them in the cabin downstairs. In the end, we sailed by this small piece of land and saw iguanas climbing up the trees. It was really nice. I learned about this tour rather late, so I didn't meet the book online window (at least 12 hours ahead), had to call in and make reservation. I would recommend everyone taking advantage of their online booking system, it is real-time and you get $10 off.

They ask that you arrive about 15 minutes early, and when we got there, most of the staff greeted us inside the storefront before directing us out back to the kayaking area. For belongings, they give you two options: you can pay $5 for a locker with a key, or you can leave your things in the storage bins out back where someone is always present. I wasn't completely comfortable with the bins, but the staff reassured me that nothing had ever happened to guests' belongings. I decided to take the chance, left my bag there with cash inside, and thankfully, everything was safe and untouched when we returned. Our instructor was Kyler and he was amazing. He was patient, informative, and honestly did most of the work steering our kayak since my daughter kept getting frustrated and turning us in the wrong direction. Kyler shared a lot of history about the Condado Lagoon, pointing out landmarks, statues, and explaining the local marine life--what's there, what isn't, and why motorboats aren't allowed. The way back was more challenging because of the wind, so this time it was up to us to paddle. I ended up doing most of it (patting myself on the back here), and by the time we finished, I was completely soaked from the back--no idea how that happened, but it was all part of the adventure. We wrapped up after about an hour, grabbed our belongings, and everything was still there. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable experience for both my daughter and I.

No safety rundown, no directions, nothing. I ended up going back inside, and thankfully another staff member stepped in and got me set up properly. Once I was out in the water, though, it was beautiful -- calm, clear, and full of marine life. Overall, a great experience with just a small bump in the beginning. I'd definitely return.

Captain Juan and Perla provided everything we needed--drinks, snacks, lunch... and their deep knowledge of the area was unmatched. None of us will ever forget the green turtle that suddenly came up to the surface beside us, or the eagle ray that glided by beneath our feet. The fishing was fun for everyone and Juan used his vast knowledge of the local waters to help our teenagers catch some amazing fish (which we later ate for dinner). Juan was more than a knowledgeable host... from him we learned about the history and the culture of PR, AND got some amazing tips on where to eat throughout the rest of our stay. (Bahamas and Jamaica are there other two) The first time I went there was only one company offering this type of trip. Now there are at least 5 other companies that will offer this. In other words, that's a lot of people in the water kayaking at the same time. So we got stuck behind a few of them that only slowed us down. However, if you enjoy kayaking at night, at times in the pitch black and seeing the bioluminescent lights in the water then this is the trip for you. It doesn't disappoint. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the whole area and it was easy to see he enjoyed his job. It was also sad to see the damage the hurricane had caused to the area. You will first start off in the bay. It's a 2.5 mile run through the canal. It's extremely dark and at times you need to watch for low hanging branches. Once you get to the lagoon, you and the others are put together where you will cover yourself with a heavy tarp in order to reach your hands in the water to light up around you. Highly recommended you splash the water into the kayak and in the tarp. It will appear as though you're watching fireworks. This adventure is approximately 2.5 hours long. You met at 7:30 pm. Given instructions and life jackets then in the water by 8 pm. Good luck and have a great time. They do take a photo of you that will be emailed to you later.

You paddle through a mangrove canal in the pitch black. 70% of the groups have no lights and no business being on a kayak. There are tons of accidents, super frustrating. And the actual bioluminescence is horrible. You have to hold a tarp over your head in order to barely see anything in the water. Not worth it. Go somewhere else.
